About
Ruth is a woman that gets straight to the point, and doesn't waste time on diplomacy. She is fearless, and diligent in her work, whether it's finding another vein of ore, hammering out another blade in her smithy, or doing whatever violent work she'd been hired to do. Despite her hostile attitude to others, the woman has a good moral compass and is unafraid to follow it, regardless if it means she gets hurt or worse.
Friends
Ruth doesn't have many friends. Most of those are people who know their way around her temperament, or people who she deems innocent. Having a bit of a protective streak, she tends to pseudo-adopt those who are young to her eyes.
Enemies
Being the spitfire that she is, her callous ways can certainly earn her enemies. She is rude, spouts foul language all the time, and isn't above throwing punches if someone insults her. Or even fire, if she gets angry enough, though burning something down doesn't happen to her that often these days.

About
Zander is a lovable guy, sincere and innocent in his ignorance of many things ashore. He is currently lost, wandering the seas with a pirate crew, hoping it would give him answers as to where his family is. Along the way of course, he's more than happy to learn all about this strange new land to him.
Friends
He is easy to befriend, if one doesn't take offense to his occasional ignorant blunders.He's an honest man, who couldn't lie with a straight face if his life depended on it. As such, he can easily make friends with people on the right side of morality, though he is entertaining and harmless enough even baddies might get a kick out of his company.
Enemies
His enemies mostly come from some sort of misunderstanding, such as him running his mouth without thinking, or if someone has a particular beef against sailors and pirates in general. Otherwise, his gullible demeanor might just be something that irritates some people.

About
Khaal is a man who is eternally bored, constantly seeking new adventures. Problem is that most of said adventures never end well for anyone but himself. The man is prone to manipulation and mind games, but isn't above causing literal mayhem and destruction. Whatever amuses him he'll go for with little hesitation, and the only time he does pause is to calculate what would be more dastardly fun to do.
Friends
The immortal doesn't have friends, period. Some might consider him one, which in and of itself would be a miracle, but he doesn't reciprocate the sentiment. At best, he might view someone as a pet or a plaything, and most of his "friends" are actually allies, gaining some kind of advantage through his aid.
Enemies
In general, Khaal can't breathe without creating another enemy. Some he sorely wrongs in a kill-your-entire-family-on-a-whim kind of way, while others just find him and his trolling so insufferable they have an instant urge to stab him on sight.
