Rules

Hello and welcome to Force of the Ashes! We are a fantasy roleplaying site with lots of fun and stories that await! We do have a few rules so be sure to keep them in mind, but be sure to have fun!

1. Be courteous and respectful to all members

This refers to not the actual characters, but the members behind them. Your characters can be as mean as you like, but keep any of that to your characters. If you have a problem with someone, feel free to contact a staff member we can help work out whatever the problem is.

2. No godmoding, powerplaying, metagaming, etc.

If you are unfamiliar with these terms they just basically mean that you shouldn’t have a character that is too overly powerful or control’s another person’s character without their consent. If you have their permission or do a small action that’s fine, just try not to do any major actions however. If the other person has a problem, posts can always be edited.

3. Character Creation

Please fill out the application post with your character under Pending Characters board, and if you are working on a WIP please bump it or notify staff when it is finished so we can take a look at it! It will need one acceptance by a staff member before you can start writing with them. You are allowed to make as many characters as you like, but there are posting requirements in order to make another immortal, dragon, or hybrid. WIPs have a time limit of one week before they will be archived.

4. Activity

We just ask to please post with your character often. A good aim is at least around once every two weeks for regular characters, but we do require once a week for those in important ranks. If you will be taking a leave, post in the Absences board so that we won’t archive your characters by accident. If you leave without notice the fate your characters are up to other players to decide if they heavily affect their plots.

If you need help finding a good face claim that fits your description check the face claim suggestions or ask around, we’d love to help you find one! Unnamed models are allowed as well so if you can’t find their name no worries!
