Orin, the famous gypsy fortune teller, set up shop in his caravan in the midst of the forest. Wearing a most dazzling outfit, he stepped outside onto the rug and towards the small table, covered in a cloth that was black covered with sparkles that looked like stars in a night sky. Upon it sat a magical crystal ball, one that had something that spirits moving back and forth slowly within. The elf sat down on the chair, awaiting those that wished to have their fortune told to them. For the right price of course. Orin only accepted the best payment. But so far, no one had come. Maybe he should have gone out to Cendra, as the city was better. There were more crowds there, and more different races and those that had didn't have powers that would not know about how his fortune telling was fake. He had told his fortunes in the city once before, and since the guards kicked him out he resorted to being in the back alley. It was like he was a shady fortune teller, but he had only good causes. Maybe. But then this wild werewolf called Rad almost killed him. What a brute, Orin thought. He had only to tell bad fortunes to him. Luckily Rad bought the idea, and listened carefully. Orin then told him that he would never find his lost kitten, and this made him mad. He threatened to kill him again, but then in fear Orin told him that the ball was wrong and that was destined to be the best chef in the land, and now Rad decided to live on as Radatouille.
He sat there waiting patiently in the forest for anyone to come. His head gazed up at the sky in defeat, his mouth wide open. Orin was bored and tired from sitting so long in the sun and there was no business. He wondered if he should go visit the library to tell Ives how horrible he is, but he knew that the blonde elf must have known already. Then, he got out his magical stones. He rubbed them together and enjoyed whatever magical pink smoke came from them. It was like taking magical drugs, and Orin felt better. His eyes were half open for the rest of the day, but in the late afternoon that was when he heard footsteps approaching.
Trying to gather whoever came's attention, Orin immediately lit up, waving his arms around his crystal ball in a mystic manner. "Oooo! I can tell you your fortune! Don't let it be your misfortune, to miss out on this wondrous notion! For the right price I can see your fate, so come and see what will await!" His arms paused in midair dramatically, his head looking up to see if the person really did come.
