Lemme try a romance. AKA Arlyn's trying out being a ho. Hey guys! So, I was convinced that maybe I should try a romance wanted ad, something a little different. Anyway, I've thought about it long and hard, and come to the conclusion that I think Oceane might work out best with this plot. I said that she was pretty loose with whomever she gets with in her plotter and still is, but here's just an idea that I would think would be interesting to see in play. Oceane is a little difficult relationship-wise though, and it would take a lot of effort to get her to open up to a person as it unfolds. She is generally quiet and it would take awhile to gain her trust. So, I've devised something that might prove to be interesting.

I was thinking that there would be a man whom she will eventually fall in love with. He would be a new addition to the crew, and he is secretly a prince of the fae (or elves, though I think if he hid his wings that would be even cooler). Of course he doesn't tell anyone and lies saying that he is something else. He would say that he is either a dragon or a wealthy immortal, living for many eons when in fact he is only over 200 (I wouldn't want for there to be too much of an age difference between him and Oceane, as fae and elves tend to live to be only 300 while she is 324). However, he is very princely indeed and demands to be treated as such. His personality would probably be very egotistical, using his age to brag about how great he is and how inexperienced everyone else is compared to him. He would probably have a cruel side as well, taking pleasure in fighting and killing while having a skill of combat as well, proving to be very strong. I'd imagine how he even gets in the pirate crew could go one of two ways. The first would be perhaps they had kidnapped him under the false pretense of what he was, or the second way would be is if he joined the crew just out of "interest" or "fun" of killing and pillaging. He is one of the crucial members to the crew even if they don't like it, just because he is a really good fighter. Of course he treats himself higher than the rest of the crew, although he isn't too mean to them otherwise. He probably has his own corner where he keeps his riches from his loot, isolating himself and standing out from everyone else.

But soon, he would begin to treat Oceane differently after a while on the ship. He would probably spend his time around her and possibly just a few of her friends on the ship, or calling for her often to come talk to him when the pirates are sailing the seas. However, there begins to be signs of him liking her, and he may so do indirectly, or he may declare a relationship between them in front of the whole crew lol, it's up to you. But then their friendship beings to grow, and then they discuss why he's taken interest in her. He thinks of her as what she says she is, a young human who is inexperienced with the world, and he would want to show her more of what life is really like, due to the fact that he is extremely old (or so he says), but even still he is over 200 and she claims to be just over 20. Yet, she knows that he is wrong, but decides to keep her secrets to herself and lets him believe what he wants. Though, their relationship continues to grow, but the distance between them grows too as she knows she's living a lie to him. Though maybe he has his suspicions of her when the others begin to act differently around him when talking about Oceane or maybe she'll accidentally let something slip, who knows, however he would continue to be the way he always had, however perhaps his egotistical/mean phase might wind down during that time as he is busy thinking about her.

Then, on one of the pirate adventures, something will happen to Oceane. Either her tail will be revealed, or she will have to fight, something that reveals about her past without her actually telling him. Then, she would probably go unconscious during that time if it was a dangerous time, so he would have to save her at the same time as well (it would be great if he had to reveal his wings to fly down and save her if he was a fae, then the whole crew would then know about him that he was lying while she would not). Then, the two would have to privately discuss what happened back there, and this would cause tension as Oceane is hesitant to reveal much about her past, and he would probably be surprised to find out just how little he actually knew of her.

Then, perhaps the crew would figure out about his own past as well in someway, as he was a prince that either ran away or was banished from his kingdom. For many years he had ventured through the wilds (probably in the desert if he was banished there), where he had fought his way for survival, which is where he had gained his fighting prowess from. He had probably searched for a way to get back to the kingdom or to form his own for many years, eventually reaching the pirate crew in which he joined not out of interest but out of necessity. (If he was a fae maybe a good explanation as to why he hid his wings would also be good.) Then, their love will blossom from there although I don't know how it will all go but it would be pretty fun.

So, if you read through all that congratulations. I would like to roleplay all this out instead of having it be pre-established already, as I would like it for him to just be introduced to the pirate crew. I think he would make an interesting character not only for Oceane but for other characters as well. He can have as many relations as you like, and anything I didn't write here about him is all up to you (except probably don't make him a womanizer... as that would be a turn off for Oceane lol). For face claims I have a few specific ones in mind as well as certain looks, however you're free to choose whoever.
