| | Getting out of the cellblock was pretty easy since every one ran to see what the commotion was about. Once he got out and in to the open air, a sickness was weighing in on his stomach. "What had I done?" He continued to move almost in a robotic way. "Why did I do that." He was covered in blood but it wasn't just his blood now. It was the blood of his mate. His.... dead mate. Bloodied hands shakily move towards his face. He could smell her on them. They were stained with the evidence of what he had just done, what he had just been pushed to do... The anger from the abuse had finally made its way to the surface just like he knew it would but it was aimed at someone who didn't deserve it. Lucia didn't deserve to perish in that way. Now like several others her death would be a weight on his shoulders he would have to carry every day. He headed towards home where a fresh change of clothes awaited him as did a way to get all of the blood off of him. He wouldn't be able to stay long. He would have to move quickly and see if what Lucia said about Larkin was true. He would have to sneak back in and see if he could sniff her out. He had to break into his own house which was a bit of a new one but when they had caught him they had taken everything out of his pockets. Once inside he didn't bother to mess with any lights not wanting to alert anyone. He made his way to get some water and start working to get the blood off.Once that was done he went and found fresh clothes and headed off slipping into the night and heading into the city where he knew they kept workers. He prayed the wolf would work with him and let him sniff her out. Her scent, much like Lucia's, was engraved in his head so it wouldn't be too tough to pick out. Once in the little square of workers, he went to work following along a trail he suspected to be hers. It was old but it was there. The place it ended was the worst Guardian's group. He was careless and cruel and it caused Felix to bristle. Of course, they would stick her here. He slipped inside and moved towards the direction her scent grew strongest only to stop in front of a curtain. Quietly he pulled it back and slipped in. "Larkin?" he whispered ducking a little and moving towards the pillows. He could faintly see two bodies and a growl started to crawl up his throat but he clamped his jaws tightly shut to keep it from escaping. There was a familiar scent to the second body. One he had smelt often on Lucia that belonged to another feline named Killian. Reaching over to Larkin he moved her a little. "Larkin, wake up."Larkin Silvaris | but you sleep with the bones of a rabbit |

我听不懂 I COULDN'T HELP BUT TO LOVE YOU. She had been afraid. With the thunder rolling in and only a curtain for a door in an unfamiliar place Larkin had been afraid. She had sat with her arms wrapped around her legs chewing on her lip as the storm slowly rolled in. The tension in her body building until her fear crested and she couldn't sit still any longer. Knowing no one else here she had immediatly thought of the nice man she had met named Killian and luckily for her he had obliged in allowing her to curl up next to him to sleep. Just having someone else close helped...just knowing she wasn't as completely alone as she felt. Felix...she hoped he was alright and worried for him. His face the last image through her mind before she fell into an exhausted sleep.
She felt someone or something push her shoulder, that was what had awoken her. And with her blue eyes still blinking back sleep she heard his voice. Just like that, the rabbit was awake and quickly sat up. Starring at Felix as if he were a ghost. But then her gaze softened and the sheen of tears coated her eyes. Climbing from the mass of pillows she hurried to wrap her arms around his neck in a surprisingly strong embrace. "I thought you were dead." She whispered against his neck. But then the thought hit her...what if...what if this was a dream? She pulled back so that she could see his face, her blue eyes worried moving over his features as if searching for some sign that he wasn't real. He looked beaten and battered. "You are real...right?" She rubbed at one eye with the back of her hand. "I'm not dreaming again am I?"
She had forgotten about the feline she had been snuggling with and her words were likely uncomfortably loud for the sleeping cat. She could smell the tinge of blood in the air but assumed it was his own. He must be hurt. But at least he was alive. "Are you ok? They hurt you, didn't they?" She sat back a little but still clung to his arms. Her blue eyes wavering as she remembered the cabin. "I tried to stop them...I wasn't strong enough. I'm sorry, Felix."

Relief flooded him when she hurried over and wrapped her arms around his neck. He stumbled a little nearly unable to hold himself up from the tiny force she used. Blue eyes closed as he exhaled a quiet breath into her ear as she spoke. He probably should be dead, he was pretty sure he didn't deserve to be alive right now not with what he had done but doing his best to push those thoughts away he focused on the task at hand. "I'm fine." he said. "Just sore." He watched her as she finally pulled back but before she slipped from his grip he placed a kiss on her forehead. Blue eyes shifted towards a sitting up Killian who gave a soft hiss in his direction. He couldn't say he was very fond of the other man either. He knew who he was to Lucia and he knew exactly what non-work they did with one another. It was a distinct smell one couldn't hide that. "No, Larkin. That wasn't your fault that was mine." he nodded. "I won't be able to stay here long, I just wanted to be sure you were okay." he wasn't supposed to be out and now that he was sure they knew they would be sounding the alarm looking for him. "Killian will watch out for you." his eyes drift towards the cat who stared at him as if he knew what Felix had done. The male feline reluctantly nodded his head however. He could see the question on the tip of Killian's tongue. He knew he could smell her but Felix was doing his best to ignore him. "I will try and get you out of here as soon as I figure out where you can go." The cabin would be a bad idea and he wasn't familiar with any other hidey holes around though the ruins briefly came to mind however that was a place he wanted to avoid at all costs. He leaned a little on a near by wall now. His body ached. He wished he could just take her with him now but it was too risky to be on the run with her with him right now. Too dangerous of an idea. 我听不懂 I COULDN'T HELP BUT TO LOVE YOU. Larkin didn't notice the tension between the two men. She was too happy that Felix was alive, if hurt. She didn't know what she would have done if he had been-no. No. She wasn't even going to think about that. Killian eventually crawled from the bed of pillows and left the room, the small curtain falling shut behind him. Larkin turned back to Felix, his words making her chest tighten. He had to leave her here...she didn't want to stay. She wanted to go with him now. Her disapppointment was hard to hide and Larkin had never been a very good actress, but she tried. Forcing a smile and nodded. Her slender arms would snake around his torso to pull her flush against him. Her blue eyes drifting shut from the immediate contentment he could make her feel. How safe she felt, how relieved she was to see him alive.
One pointed ear would rest against his chest to listen to his heartbeat. A physical thump against her cheek that her Felix was alright. "I understand." She said softly as she hugged him tightly. She didn't want to be here where these people would push her to do things she was afraid to do. She only wanted to feel Felix in that way. Only wanted to taste his name on her lips. But there was nothing she could do, and she trusted he wasn't lying to her. She would have to stay here...have to live this life. At least until he could save her, again.
"I'll wait for you." She pulled back just enough to see his face. The forced smile still there, even if it looked broken and there was a sheen to her blue eyes. "I love you, Felix." It probably wasn't appropriate. He probably didn't want to hear it. She had never understood these things when she read it in books, but it all made sense to her now. She hadn't planned to fall for him. She hadn't even realized she was sinking. "Y-you don't have to say it back. I shouldn't have put you on the spot like this. I just...when I thought you were gone forever, I felt like there wasn't even a point to it anymore....To going on." Her voice sounded saddened but then she smiled and actual smile. "But now I know you're alive, so I can take anything. Everything. I can handle it. I'll be here." She nodded as if to punctuate her words. He didn't have to feel the same. She knew that she was awkward and odd. But she liked this feeling, it was warm and gave her hope.
Stretching upward she pressed her lips to his, her blues slipping shut as her hands pulled him close.

Now the Killian made his exit he felt a little more at ease. Though he knew that the male cat was going to go searching Lucia's quarters and he knew he would find her missing. This unnerved him. The guilt rolling through him now sitting hard on his heart. Trying to refocus in on Larkin, he could tell she wasn't impressed with the idea of being left her. However, with how things were going, he didn't want to risk getting caught again and have her with him. It would make it worse on her even if her living here wasn't the ideal place either. No less she was doing her best to put on a brave face for him and he had to say he very much appreciated it. The male panther was no friend of his and he knew that he wouldn't do him any favors but he also knew the cat had a soft heart. He would look out for her. Resting his chin on her, he was really struggling on the inside. He wanted to tell her. He wanted to get this weight off of his chest and not feel like such a horrible person. But would she fear him? Would she think he would do the same to her? As she pulled up and looked up at him, a small smile broke on his face as she said she would wait on him. He supposed that was a good thing since her trying to escape on her own would be detrimental. He breathed her in feeling the soothing scent wash over him. She held such a power of him that seemed to calm him almost instantly. He held her close and tight really not wanting to let go escept the next set of words sort of caused him to pause. She loved him? She was quick to add on that it was okay if he didn't say it back and then continued on to explain what she meant. He nodded his head. "I understand. I worried they hurt you too. The world felt like an awful place at the thought of feeling like I had gotten you killed." his voice was smooth. Was that what it was that he had lost his mind from Lucia calling her a whore? Was that love? It was such a simple thing too. How could something so small, so insignificant flip a switch? He wanted to answer her words but he wasn't sure how to. Not when he had this building guilt on him. He was mated.... or had been.... or is? His brows furrowed for a moment but she continued talking and didn't really seem to notice the disdain on his face. Before he knew it she was lifting up and pressed her lips into his own. he was stiff but he kissed her back, pressing a little bit of weight behind it before breaking away. His fingers idly played at the fabric at her back. "Larkin--..." he wasn't sure how he was going to say this but he knew he needed to. She had to know he wasn't a kind person. She had to know that he had killed people and not just people who didn't really matter to him but people who cared for, a person he truly loved. "I did something bad." he said quietly. He didn't want her to let go. Despite her barely doing much in holding him up, her arms locked around him was keeping him grounded. Keeping him whole even though he felt like crumbling. "To someone." he bit his lip hoping to find some kind of solace in her eyes. Something that told him this was going to be okay even if he felt like and knew deep down it wasn't. "Someone who was important to me. Someone who --- I had been mated to." His jaws tightened. This was definitely the wrong time to tell her he was mated to someone else but did the mate part even matter now? He didn't want her to look at him differently but he knew it was going to happen. He knew she would think of it as he led her on which wasn't the case. This was a position he hadn't even dreamt of being in. It just happened. Now he was interlocked with emotions he didn't even understand for a bunny who he technically couldn't have or he could but perhaps not with a clear conscience. " She let me out and I killed her tonight, Larkin. I lost it and I took her life."@tag - words - notes - muse WHEN I FALL IN LOVE I FALL DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

我听不懂 I COULDN'T HELP BUT TO LOVE YOU.
Larkin fell quiet as Felix began to speak. Her arms still looped around him, a little looser now as she stood back to see his face when he spoke. He...had a mate? And he killed her? Larkin's brow wrinkled with confusion. Hearing he had a mate was...painful. But she should have expected it. What had happened in the forest, she had started it. Had she pushed him into doing something he hadn't wanted to? And his mate...why would he have attacked her? It was all very confusing to her.
"Felix I-I don't understand." She frowned and rolled her lips between her teeth, biting down softly as she tried to make sense of it all. "I didn't know you had a mate or I wouldn't have-I'm sorry. In the woods I...I never wanted to push you into anything." Her lips turned down and it was the feeling of him toying with the fabric of her dress that brought her back to the questions at hand.
"But, why did you kill her?" It was hard for her to picture him hurting someone. Even at his fiercest he had pulled back, taken control. She just couldn't picture him killing someone, and she didn't want to. "You wouldn't do that. You're a good person...you save people. You saved me." She wasn't afraid. Perhaps she should have been but she just couldn't connect the words he was telling her to the man she cared for.
"Are you certain she can't be saved?" She gripped the fabric of his shirt and worked it worriedly between his fingers. The thought of him having a mate was painful, but the thought of him dealing with the loss of someone he loved was even more so. He said he cared about this woman. Surely there must be something they could do to save him that torture. "Is there anything I can do?"

It was all kind of starting to make sense now. At least to him and the way he clung to Larkin like she was some kind of lifeline. She meant more to him than he had himself believing and it was a hard thing to swallow. He hadn't felt that way for anyone in a long time nor as hard as he did now. It was true, he cared deeply about Lucia and definitely loved her but was he in love? Was there more to it with Larkin than he was honestly willing to admit or at least realize? He could see the wheels moving in her head as she was attempting to process what it was he was saying. He regretted it almost instantly. The moment it came out of his mouth he wanted to take it back but it was the right thing to do. If he were going to have a clean conscience with being around Larkin, she needed to know. She needed to know that she could be -- likely would be -- next. She started to speak again and he formed a frown and shook his head no while she was speaking. Lifting his hand from the back of her body and brought them up to cup her face in the both of them. He stared her dead in the eyes. "Shh. Shh. no. No it's nothing like that. I wouldn't have if I hadn't wanted to." he promised. "Please don't think that way. What we did, what we had---... have. It's what is keeping me grounded right now." He was technically a dangerous escapee right now. He had people looking for him and if he was thinking clearly they would come looking for Larkin too. Why? Because he was caught with her. So would that mean leaving her here was honestly a bad idea? If he left her here and tried to come back would they be guarding her or move her because they knew he would come back? Shaking his head really not trying to think about that right now he focused back on Larkin. "Remember how I said you gave me the courage to be a better person?" he paused a moment. "That's because you do. You make me feel different. You make me want to be different and it scares me because I care so deeply about you. I'm afraid I will hurt you like I did her." That's what had happened. He cared so much about Lucia he wound up hurting her just like he said he would only there was no taking back what he had done. There was no fixing it. "My mate and I... it was a new thing and though we were trying to work things out to fix our issues. We were having problems. We both done wrongs and we both had problems forgiving."His hands fell to his sides as Larkin began to ask questions and he shook his head. "She found out when I got caught. She found out I was hiding you and grew angry and incredibly hurt." He could still see the hurt in those silvery eyes of hers. He could still feel the guilt he had for not thinking first and acting later. He never wanted to hurt Lucia. She was a very special person to him that he bonded to despite their differences. Despite all their petty arguments. "She was going to leave me then and there but before she walked out she got my chain off. But the fatal mistake had been when she called you a name." he rubbed his face and turned falling into a seat next to Larkin on the pillows. He stared off at the floor. He could remember hearing the word exchange, he could remember the feeling of her tender skull when he attempted to crush it into the bars. " I got so angry. I couldn't stop it. I got so engulfed into what I was doing before I knew it... I took her life." He felt shameful. It hadn't been the first time he had tried hurting a girlfriend and it probably wouldn't be the last. "If I could hurt her someone I cared strongly for.... what could I do to a person I'm in love with?" His eyes moved back to her. Those words fell effortless from his mouth and before he could really stop himself they were already out. There was no thinking when it came to saying them. Perhaps it was wrong. He wasn't entirely sure where any of this was going to go or how it even happened. She was an annoying rabbit who asked too many questions that got far too cuddly and he spent way too much time with. Somehow she made him slip and he didn't even realize it until this very moment. "I don't want to lose you..." He said quietly. "Not to me." he knew he was capable of it. Unlike Lucia, Larkin didn't seem like she had much of a fight in her. That was what made it strange at how easy it was for her to calm the rough waters when they tried to start. A simple touch could ground him. "Because I know it can happen and it will if I stick around you."@tag - words - notes - muse WHEN I FALL IN LOVE I FALL DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

我听不懂 I COULDN'T HELP BUT TO LOVE YOU. He took her face in his hands and Larkin leaned her cheek into his warm palm. Even knowing what he had done. That he had a mate that he had killed. She couldn’t not touch him. The urge to do so had not even dimmed. She stared up at him as he told her she hadn’t don’t anything wrong, she hadn’t pushed him into it. She was glad for that, to think that she might have pressured him was painful. ”You won’t hurt me.” Larkin said softly, her hands rising the gently curl around his wrists. ”You stopped the last time. And I will help you however I can.” Hearing about his mate made her blue eyes shift down to his chest, breaking eye contact. She felt…guilt. That she had played a part in the woman’s death. Even unknowingly.
His hands fell away from her and Larkin released her hold on him. Her small hands moving to toy with his shirt again. He told her how it had happened. How he had killed this woman he cared for. Her grip on his dark clothing tightened and she moved closer. ”I’m sorry Felix…I wish I could have prevented that. I’m sorry I…I feel like I had a hand in it.” He sat down on the pillows that were likely still warm from where she had been curled up with Felix. Without a second thought she stepped over to where he sat and with one leg on each side of his hips she sat with him. Taking his face between her hands she almost mirrored the way he had held her earlier.
Felix saying he loved her back…she hadn’t expected it. She hadn’t even dared hope for it. But hearing those words made her smile despite all the bad. ”You aren’t going to lose me. I promise.” He assumed he would lose control and she could see why he would feel so helpless. He had just killed his mate. But she knew he could control it. She had faith in him. She trusted him.
She leaned forward then with her arms linked around his neck. Her slender frame pressing against him as she inched closer. ”I believe in you. And I know you would never hurt me.” Her lips pressed tentatively against his own. Then deeper as she wriggled even closer to him. She was hungry for his touch, missing even the simple brief contact of a hand hold or hug. Reluctantly she broke away to speak. ”I trust you Felix and nothing you could tell me will change that. “

Everything he had done he had done on his own volition. Of course, he felt bad because he had practically cheated on his mate. There was no excuse for that however it wasn't something he regretted. He had made his choice. It was one he owned up to even to Lucia. If there was one thing about Felix, he didn't like lying to those who he cared strongly for. He didn't say words he didn't mean to them either. If he was sorry then he truly was. Despite everything though no matter how much he screwed up he was glad Larkin was okay and wished he could cay the same for Lucia. She, however, knew how to push him. She knew how to get under his skin and this time she had pushed one too many times. He quickly spiraled and there was no stopping it. Not this time. He knew the moment he felt that bond that he should have just left it alone just like he knew right now that this rabbit was it quite the dangerous situation. " I stopped for her too." he admitted defeatedly. "But I can't always. I promised her I would tell her if the wolf was coming but I could never get it out. I could never utter a word. I have no control, Larkin." He wished she would understand. He wished she could wrap it around her brain but he knew much like Lucia it was nearly impossible. No one understood his struggle. They thought it was something he could stop but it wasn't. When the wolf slipped into the slightest bit of control he loses all sense of time, muscles don't work like they should, and even his brain sort of flat lines. Her blue eyes broke from his own as she said she would help in any way that she could but he said nothing. What was he going to say? Lucia had wanted to help too and look where it got her. It got her with a bashed in head. His eyes fell to the floor. He didn't really want this reunion to linger on the negative but he couldn't really help the situation either. All of this was on the negative side of things. He felt her move beside him but he didn't really think she was moving away so he didn't bother looking. She surprised him though when she had done the same thing he had done. She cupped his head in her hands and his eyes steadily looked up at her. Hands that had been lying still on his legs moved forward to where his fingers could just barely touch the outside of her legs. "You didn't. It was my choice." he said. "No one made me do anything but myself. I knew what I knew and I did it anyways." a one-shouldered shrug was given but he found himself nuzzling one of her palms. She was leaning in closer now their noses almost touching as she shifted onto his lap, straddling his legs. Hands now were resting on either side of her hips as he stared up at her with a quiet but affectionate expression. Hearing that she believed in him was a little relieving but it didn't relinquish his worry entirely. It did though make him feel better and not nearly as useless as he was beginning to see himself. Keeping quiet he wrapped his arms around the middle of her torso and hugged her. His head resting just beneath her chin as he held her tight. "Thanks, Larkin." As he looked up at her after letting go of the brief hug, she tentatively pressed her lips into his own. He leaned up against her more as fingers now toying at her hips. It wasn't exactly the best place to be getting in over their heads and he knew it. He was being looked for and this was Killian's pillows. He breathed through his nose willing himself to calm back down. "I'm wondering if leaving you here is a bad idea." he was a bit breathy but he had to remove his brain from the actions at hand. "And I have been here too long. However if I leave I have a feeling they will move you." As much as he didn't really wanna do it he had a feeling what Eriu said would come in handy. "Do you happen to remember that map Eriu gave you?" he asked. "What you say we go pay her a visit?"@tag - words - notes - muse WHEN I FALL IN LOVE I FALL DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

我听不懂 I COULDN'T HELP BUT TO LOVE YOU.
He wouldn't be able to convince her that he couldn't stop it, no matter how much he tried and explained it. Larkin was steadfast in her faith that he would overcome. His fingers playing over her slender hips caused Larkin to wriggle as tingles moved up her spine. But then he broke away from her, creating a small amount of distance between them. Was he questioning leaving her? Larkin's head tilted slightly to the side as she listened to him. She wanted to go with him but she was afraid to let that hope build. He said he couldn't take her...there was no reason to think he had changed his mind.
At the question about the map Larkin nodded slowly. "Yes, I think so." She said tentatively. She could remember the largest part of it at least. A detail or two might be a little fuzzy. But maybe by then Felix could track her. Wait...'we' go see her? Larkin sat up a little straighter, both of her hands falling to his chest that she gripped in her excitement. "Does that mean I don't have to stay here? You are taking me with you? I don't have to...earn coin?" Her questions tumbled out back to back but she was too excited to stop them. "Yes! Lets go see her!" Eriu seemed very nice, and she had no qualms about being in the fae's company. Although she might touch her wings...hopefully that wouldn't offend her.
Larkin leaned forward again to hug him but this time it was in an excited manner before she practically hopped off his lap and onto her feet. She straightened one of the thin straps of her dress and pulled up at the meager part that covered her breasts. She couldn't wait to get into something that didn't feel so revealing and tight. A loose sundress would be heavenly. She grabbed his hand and attempted to pull him up with her but all at once she stopped. A shadow of doubt flitting across her face.
"Are you sure though, Felix? I don't want to make things harder on you." The thought of staying here was terrifying but being an inconvenience was something she never wanted. And what about Killian? He was so nice...maybe they could save him too? "Killian...he has been kind to me. Is there nothing we can do for him?"

It would be hard to cover a lot of ground with Larkin with him. Not that she was slower than him but hiding two people was a lot more difficult than hiding one. As she nodded her head, his blue eyes stayed on hers for a moment longer. ”Good. We are going to need that.” he said and before he knew it she was wrapping her arms in tight around him in a thankful excited hug. He wasn’t entirely all that amused with seeing his ex, Eriu, but he was even less thrilled about having to leave Larkin here only for them to move her. She hopped off of his lap and adjusted herself and he steadily rose to his feet. ”I will figure it out.” he said dismissively. He could see she was practically going to dance in place but then her features changed. ”What’s wrong?” he asked her. It was then she brought up the name. Killian. He frowned. He always knew Larkin was a soft hearted person and though it bothered him he would disappoint her he couldn’t do much for the feline. Not that he wanted to in the first place. ”There’s nothing I can do for him, Larkin.” he responded. ”I am sorry. Hopefully we can find a way to bring this industry down and he will be freed but for now he has to remain here.” He did plan to somehow expose everything he did know he was just going to have to be tactful about it so he didn’t get re-caught and go down with them. Now that he had taken the big leap of going against them by keeping the boss’s prized rabbit there was no going back. He was a loan agent now. He wasn’t entirely sure how he felt about it but it was nice to not have to ask. He got out on his own…. But the bad thing was they were going to be continued to be hunted far worse than before. The boss was going to regret everything he had done to him. ”If we are going to go, we need to go now.” he said as he grabbed her hand. ”I have already spent far too much time being here. I just wish I could shift.” He had done it before. CO-shift with his wolf and he would be able to cover far more ground that way and get out of the camp but the potion was still in his system. He could feel it. Tugging her behind him they started to make their way out of the building only to hear the voices of the guardians get louder. ”Check the rabbit.” one said. When he heard footprints heading their way he tugged her into one of the rooms letting the curtain fall shut and stilling it so it didn’t move to catch suspicion. ”Shh.” he placed a hand over her mouth so she wouldn’t respond and to quiet her breathing as he held his own. Once the foot prints were down the hall he glanced out and then tugged her hand to get her to follow him. The exit was right around the next corner they only had to make a break for it when they got out. ”Quick.” he whispered and was practically pulling her if she wasn’t moving as fast as he was. ”The rabbit is gone! GONE! GO!” The moment they broke out the doors, he broke out into a full sprint not once letting Larkin go. @tag - words - notes - muse WHEN I FALL IN LOVE I FALL DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

我听不懂 I COULDN'T HELP BUT TO LOVE YOU.
Larkin was sad that they couldn't save Killian too, he had been so nice to her. One of the only people here to be. But she understood and slowly nodded. Sending an almost apologetic glance at Killian's pillows as she hoped to one day help him somehow. And then they were on the move, Larkings hand held tightly by Felix's large one. She tried to be as quiet as she could but when the voices came Felix's hand came over her mouth and Larkin held her breath, not wanting to risk making a peep. When the coast was clear Felix pulled her from the room and back into the hall. They were moving quickly but just not fast enough. Suddenly there was yelling, they knew she was gone. Doors being opened. Stomping feet. And Felix's hand tightly wrapped around her wrist pulling her along.
Fear gripped her and she ran with him, ran as hard as she could. With her heartbeat thundering in her ears she didn't head him. The one they called 'The King'. He was but a guardian like the others, but he was also a werebeast. A lion to be exact. He came from their right. Larkin turned at the last moment to see a pair of brilliant amber eyes right before her face just before the massive feline slammed into her with enough force to send her tumbling several feet. The safe feel of Felix's grip on her was gone and her world was spinning. She coughed and groaned, blinking she tried to clear her vision. She tried to sit up but the world spun and she ended up back on the ground with her cheek against the dirt.
She could see but blurry images of them. The other guardians converging on them, and the massive lion staring at Felix with what could only be described as smug look on his face. "It would figure that the hybrid would risk it all for another abomination." His tan tail lashed back and forth, heavily furred skull bobbing as he leaned tauntingly closer to the man he had attempted to knock off his feet along with the rabbit. "But don't worry mutt, I'll be gentle with your little rabbit." Ivory teeth flashed in the darkness. "Not that it matters really...no one cares what happens to a hybrid. Not you. Not her. Your all a bunch of mutts that should have never been born." A couple of the humans were drawing closer now, finally catching up to the trio. The lion bared his fangs in a smile.
"C'mon Felix, you must be hungry right? Thirsting for blood? You killed Lucia you know. The boss isn't happy, he hates losing money. But what I don't understand is why you would kill her? Wasn't she your little pet? The one you were always taking your time bringing back?" He started to laugh then. "Was it because you didn't want your little rabbit on the side to find out?" His laughter thundered in their minds. Larkin flinched but finally managed to stumble to her feet. Her arm hurt and she clutched it with a pained look on her face. One of her eyes closed from the grit and dirt that irritated it. "Why are you so cruel?" She ask weakly, the tackle had worked her small frame over and she was feeling it.
"SILENCE." His voice rocketed through her mind loud enough to make Larkin flinch and try to shy away, but she couldn't. His amber eyes were locked on Felix, he was the only hybrid he cared to hear from.

When the lion’s body slammed into Larkin, it made him stumble forwards. Hands reached out to catch him and once he was steady he turned to look back. She laid there with the lion practically guarding her fallen body as he inched towards him. Luckily she was moving so he wasn’t too worried she had been hurt. His features started to twist as a snarl started to come up his throat, eyes locked on the lion. A steady smirk pressed on his lips, cruel, vicious. ”Oh look, it’s the boss’s second best. Was never quite good enough to be first before an hybrid” His words were taunting showing that he, in fact, was not frightened by this little hiccup. He could hear the lion hiss, his jaws parting to expose fang ready to rip into Felix. He dared him. No, he encouraged him. Lucia was only the start of his bloody rampage and if it wouldn’t have ended with her then so be it.
It was true his wolf was large, large like a human but the lion still outweighed him and out muscle him. The only problem was his wolf was still not in use as much as he willed his shadowy counterpart to come forward it was like a chain was holding him back. He was royally fucked but he wouldn’t show that. Now like he always did with his co-workers he remained calm and almost like he were in control. He started talking about how he had killed Lucia but his expression hadn’t changed. He wasn’t going to let him get to him. ”Surprise, surprise. He’s never happy.” He wished his wolf would move. This would have been the one time he would have welcomed the furry monster. No less he was chained, stuck, and there was no moving to get out of this except…. Unfortunately for the lion, Felix had another card up his sleeve.
He yelled at Larkin causing the young woman to flinch from pain. He wanted to help her and scoop her up out of Lion's path but of course, it was a lot harder than something so simple. They were getting surrounded by the humans now or at least the ones who didn’t take it upon himself to shift like the ‘king’. He was the king of nobodies. He hated Felix because he didn’t fear him like the others did. He also hated how the boss chose him over everyone else. A simple hybrid. But even the king could get full of himself and not follow directions. ”Fuck you.” the wolf snarled staring at the lion. ”We aren’t going back and there isn’t a damn thing you can do about it. You want me you will have to drag me back yourself.” Yes he wanted the lion to come in closer. The lion almost seemed smug as he knew Felix couldn’t use his shifting powers. It was the king himself who had shoved the liquid down his throat.
The lion hunkered down and readied a pounce and slowly Felix stood up onto his feet straightening his posture. Almost like a bull the lion charged using an unmeasurable amount of strength and smacked right into Felix. It knocked him back over and collide with the ground hurt, literally skidding a crossed the ground. He had to focus on his plans. The lion’s jaws were parted as claws dug into the flesh at his shoulders. Felix used his hands to keep him from biting his face but the strength the feline had was stronger than what his human side could hold. He focused on his hands where they pushed into the lion to hold him back and within seconds the lion's movements slowed until it was a full stop. The massive beast stood over Felix with an almost hazy dream look upon his face. ”There now.” Felix breathed. The humans were confused at what was going on and why the king had suddenly stopped his attack on the wolf. ”Get off of me.” he demanded and the lion did so. Sitting up the man’s eyes locked onto the group of humans who had made their way over towards Larkin. ”Do not harm Larkin.” he said as he looked back to the lion who was nearly purring like a kitten. ”But those men mean to do us harm. I need you to take care of them and wait for me here.” Almost as if the Lion had taken a full understanding of what was going on he turned on his men. They quivered as he roared at them, growling with beastly animosity. With the same amount of ferocity, he had quickly charged at them running them off from Larkin’s side. Getting to his feet he limped towards Larkin and helped her to her feet. ”We need to move, Larkin. Please shift. Carrying you will be a lot easier as a rabbit and we can move faster.”

我听不懂 I COULDN'T HELP BUT TO LOVE YOU. Larkin screamed when the lion lunged at Felix, scrambling forward only to be stopped by a threatening look from on of the other guards. He was going to kill Felix and there wasn't a thing she could do to stop him. "Stop it!" She cried out but it didn't work. They continued to wrestle until suddenly the lion just...stopped. She watched in awe as Felix ordered him around. Remembering the power he had used on her once upon a time. Was it the same? When Felix stumbled toward her Larkin ran to meet him. The man that had been watching her now far more preoccupied with the lion. Her thin arms would wrap tightly around his neck with a soft sob but she nodded and obeyed his words. Shifting while still leaned against him as she was so that she could fall into the secure cradle of one of his arms. "Are you ok?" She ask him telepathically. Her tiny white nose twitching at the smell of blood. His shoulder. "Felix..." She said softer and snuggled into his arm. Her little body ached all over and her arm felt a little strange. But she knew it was probably nothing compared to what he was feeling after grappling with the lion. Oddly enough she fell asleep as he carried her. She had been so worried for him for days, just knowing he was safe and then having his arms wrapped around her lulled her into a much-needed slumber. When she did awaken they were at the front door of a cute little house and Larkin could detect the familiar scent of the pretty pink winged fae. She shifted in his arms and rubbed her face against his chest to try to wake herself up. But she was still so tired. At some point along the way she had been awoken to give him the directions to get there. She could barely remember it and it was a wonder they had ended up in the right place at all. "Is this it?" She yawned, her tiny white body tensing then relaxing. Eriu Bloodworth请帮助我 ◈ MADE BY MINNIE OF GANGNAM STYLE NOTES. TAG.

The sun was high in the sky however Eriu was inside. The bright light filtered in through the window of the kitchen area, and the swordsman was busy cooking lunch. Staring down as the apple pie turned a golden brown the fae then grabbed the plate with two large gloves over her hands, walking over from the fire toward the table. Setting it down onto the table she placed it in the center, then she moved again toward the cooking area then brought over a plate full of sliced cheese. Afterward she then moved again, getting the few slices of bread before placing them onto one plate. She was used to eating alone, however sometimes she did have guests come over. Usually the neighbors that smelled the delicious pies. Placing herself at the table, Eriu settled herself into a chair and then looked down at her plate. She then placed the bread there and some cheese, creating a sandwich of some sort. Before she began to eat she then heard knocking on her door. Curiously turning in that direction, the fairy rose from her chair, feet sliding onto the floor as she then walked toward her front door. Who could it be? She wondered. Maybe it was a messenger of some kind. Making her way toward the living room, Eriu waltzed over toward the front door. She was dressed perhaps in more casual attire, cute but lacking the typical swordsman armor that she usually wore. Pulling the door open she then froze, eyes widened in surprise to see who it was.
Felix. Not only him, but the little white bunny that he held in his arms. Never did she see the day when he would really return home. Well, it wasn't his home exactly, but it was a place she had opened up to both him and Wren. Though she had never seen either of them in the many years since then. She stood there for a moment gawking at the situation, however the fae then returned to her senses, pulling the door further open as she then took a step near them. She looked at them with concern. "Felix... Larkin, are you guys alright?" she asked, stopping before them. She tried to take another look at them, to check to see if they were hurt in any way. Though, she then moved back toward the door, extending the entry further. "Come inside," she then said. If they did she would then close the door for them as well, taking a few more steps along the wooden floor. She was so fortunate that they made it back safely, and she would offer the place for them to stay as long as they wanted to. If they came here though, did that mean that the bad guys were still going to be after them? Though, they were protected here, much more than where they were previously. She didn't know if she should ask, but she did so anyway. "What happened?" She wished to know, but she didn't require any answer from them if they didn't wish to. However, she was uncertain of what the status was with the swordsmen and the rest of the guards. Would they really search for the other women that were taken? She had reported the information she had found to them but so far she didn't hear of any further action being taken. Perhaps they were waiting, or focused with other matters.
She then continued. "I just made lunch," she said, although still with concern in her voice. She tried to smile but it was a sad one. "If you guys are hungry..." she trailed off, not knowing what they wished to do now. Now that they were away from that place with the danger. Though, Eriu was just glad that they got here safely.
