He was definitely limping and definitely not feeling all that great but he kept moving. Being pummeled over by a lion probably wasn't the smoothest thing he had done but he had to get the beast in close as his power was only able to be worked that way. Luckily it didn't take too much effort from him to get the beast under control. Once the lion was focused on him he had gathered Larkin -- now rabbit -- in his arms and took off. It would be so much easier if he could shift and just carry her that way but his wolf wasn't quite in working order yet. SO he managed on his two feet.
It felt like it took ages especially when Larkin had fallen asleep on him but the silence gave him enough time to mull things over in his head. All the past events for the past couple weeks. He should have known it was leading up to this and now here he was bearing his cross to his ex to give them sanctuary. It felt shameful. The smell of the fairies had his wolf on edge, his nose shot into the air as a delightful shiver traveled down his spine. Fairies were his wolf's favorite and it was dangerous for him to be here however he made up his mind that it wasn't for him as it was for Larkin. His wolf was almost vibrating under his skin having a lot more ebbing freedom and threatening to break the small barrier that was left. Since it had been hours since the potion was downed his throat his wolf was almost completely free and he could feel it. He wouldn't be spending too much time here.
Stopping at the door it was then it seemed Larkin was starting to stir. As Larkin spoke he simply nodded and knocked harshly on the door before stepping backward. Eriu opened the door just as fast as he knocked on it but seemed absolutely stunned. "Surprise." he said his voice mild but not holding the ire in it as usual. "She's fine." he didn't worry about himself but once she opened the door he limped inside and found a place to set Larkin down. His shoulders ached and he gave a mild passing glance at the ripped and bloodied shoulder before looking back to Eriu who spoke again. Falling into a chair to sit and get off his feet, he closed his blue eyes. Felt amazing to rest for a moment and get off his hurt leg. "Sorry to show up unannounced Eriu but we weren't--- I wasn't.... Sure where else to go." She said she had made lunch and that they could eat if they were hungry but Felix merely shook his head no. "I probably shouldn't stay here too long." It felt weird to be back in this house. His wolf was getting anxious and he couldn't really afford to ruin the only place he had for Larkin to go to for now.
Opening his eyes he looked up at Eriu a soft expression on his face. He knew he wasn't the easiest to get along with especially with their history but the fact she was willing to get around it and to help despite his wolf wanting to swallow her whole. For the safety of them both, he wouldn't put either of them in that lurking danger. The smell was getting to him as it was. The wolf knew his lost prey was near. "Eriu, thank you...."

Despite the circumstances, Larkin was happy to see the pretty fae alive and well. "Eriu!" She said excitedly, telepathically while looking up at her from Felix's arms. Once they were inside and she was sat down on the small coffee table that also boasted a plate of food Larking began to look around. Her large blue eyes taking in her surroundings. Felix was being evasive as ever with Eriu's questions and had Larkin been human she would have frowned. She didn't see the harm in trusting her...she seemed very kind. "Are you sure you don't mind Eriu? Me being here?" She didn't want to inconvenience her in any way or make things awkward for her given that she had a history with Felix.
But then Felix was saying he couldn't stay long and Larkin panicked. He was hurt, he couldn't just leave. What if they were looking for him. Larkin's little white ears pressed down against her back and her previous excitement seemed to melt away. "You're leaving me again..." She said softly. Not accusingly, just a statement. She tried to hide the hurt in her voice but it was hard. He had just told her he was taking her with him and now he was leaving her again. She held one of her front legs up off the table, it was still sore from the tackle she had taken but it would heal quickly enough. Larkin felt sad, defeated. But she tried not to let it show. Her little nose twitched and she looked back to Eriu. Blue eyes darting down to the plate again before back to the fae.
"It smells so nice in here. You must be quite the cook." Her little white head tilted to the side as she stared up at her. She should probably shift back but her clothing was somewhere back in Cendra and she didn't think Eriu would appreciate her nakedness.
