Ladon landed onto the ground, near to where he could see the city in the distance behind the trees. The dragon took the clothing handed to him in his mouth before turning and setting it onto he ground. He then turned back into a human, his form falling back into his smaller form. Within a moment he then began to place back on his clothing. "It is not too far from here, I remember," he said, after placing his shirt over his head he then began to stick his legs one by one into the pants. He then placed on his boots and then neared toward him. "I think it's that way," his head focused directly toward the city, then he began to walk in that direction, hoping the prince would follow behind him. Entering into the busy crowd of all the mixed races, he knew very well that no one would recognize them. He tried to remember where the clinic was, but then his path became familiar. He walked in the direction toward the place, then looking the building up and down as he recalled it. Yes, this was the place. He then entered through the door, the bell ringing over his head. "Hello?" he asked, looking to see if the man that he knew was inside.

It was an easy day for Carlisle. Few patients had walked through his doors and he had spent the majority of the day just playing with Erin. He was still downstairs just in case someone did happen to walk in. But he was preoccupied with tickling Erin and listening to the melodic cackling of a happy baby. The bell chimed over the door and yanked him from his fun, a 'hello' falling after. He sat Erin down into her crib the turned his attention to the two men. One familiar that Carlisle recognised him from a week or so prior.
"Hello, what can I help you with?" His gaze moved between the two men before settling on the familiar face. The last time he had been in his office he had been asking for help of the romantic sort. Carlisle only hoped that this time it was an issue he could actually assist with.

"Yes," Ladon said, pausing briefly as he turned his head to face luhan before turning back to the doctor. "We would like your assistance. His stomach has been... acting up recently." He spoke for the prince, not really sure if he was used to talking to strangers or not. His face then headed toward him, gesturing that the both should enter inside. Though Luhan would have to give more details, as Ladon wasn't really sure himself of what it was. He then moved forward, toward the doctor but still faced Luhan. "This is Carlisle, I met him a while ago," he decided to say, gesturing to the physician with one hand. It had not been to long ago, but his dark eyes moved to the human, wondering if he would mention how recent it was. He had gone away from the mountains, if Luhan found out he didn't know what his reaction should be. He should have been staying at the kingdom, protecting him, yet he sought out a hopeless ideal, the help from someone a fortune teller had pointed him to. But, now Ladon knew that this doctor could be trusted, and if Luhan wanted to hide his illness from the healers back at home then this was a way to do so.

The prince stayed behind Ladon, slowly entering the physician's home. As soon as he stepped in, he noticed something on the corner of his eye. He turned his head in curiosity, only to see a small baby. His feline ears twitched lightly as he was caught off guard, his expression softening afterwards as a small hint of a smile lingered on his lips. Somehow he was distracted from the uncomfortable feeling of his stomach, just for a brief moment. Since he didn't head out of his castle often he didn't have much experience with children, but he wouldn't mind hanging out with them. After all, he still considered himself to be a child at heart.
He snapped out of his thoughts soon after, looking up to face the doctor. Even though he was distracted he was still able to hear Ladon's words. He smiled gently, giving a polite nod in the man's direction. "My name is Luhan, it is nice to meet you." He bit on his lower lip afterwards. He didn't know how to explain the feeling himself, managing to find the right words to say. "I-- uhm.. My stomach is feeling very upset for some reason. At first I suspected it was something I ate, but the food was the same as usual. Ladon ate the same things as I did." He pursed his lips, knowing that it wasn't much for the doctor to make a diagnosis but hopefully it would be a good start. "I started feeling sick just couple hours ago."

Carlisle looked to Ladon with a slight wrinkle between his eyes. He would hardly say they had known one another a while but it didn't seem important enough to bring up. He nodded in response to Ladon's words then turned his attention to the other man, the one who apparently feeling ill. "A couple hours? Hmm..." It must be pretty severe for him to feel the need to seek medical help after only a couple hours. The majority of his patients would suffer days before they were pushed to see him by a family member. "Lets see what we can find out, I'm Carlisle Hilthrom by the way. Take a seat just there, please."
Carlisle would nod at the examination table in the center of the room. He stepped over to Erin and patted her head softly then moved to wash his hands. After drying them he would step back over to the duo. He hadn't noticed before but the smaller of the two men boasted a pair of feline ears atop his skull. He blinked, momentarily surprised as he stared before quickly turning his eyes away and down to the man's face. If he had sat down on the examination table Carlisle would then encourage him to lay back with a gentle touch against his shoulder. "Can I pull your shirt up?" He ask. Needing to see and listen to the young fellow's stomach to get a better idea of what was bothering him.

He gave a small nod as he pursed his lips, walking over to where the physician gestured him to go. The table was set up a bit too high for him so he had to stand on his toes and jump a bit before sitting on it. "I never felt this way before.. For a moment, I felt like I was going to throw up. But that feeling went away afterwards." He took notice of the man's stare afterwards, his feline ears twitching a bit more and his fluffy tail swaying in slight amusement. He then blinked slightly - for a moment he did not know what the doctor wanted him to do, but then he slowly laid down. At the question directed towards him Luhan tilted his head to the side, exchanging a brief look with Ladon. It was not everyday that he would take off his shirt in front of a stranger. He slowly complied, nodding in a shy manner before exhaling as he started feeling nervous about the diagnosis.

Ladon watched as he waited, nearing one side of the room and standing alongside a wall. Leaning on it he crossed his arms, looking in the direction of where he worked on him. He hoped that Luhan was alright, and that there was nothing severe going on with him. As the doctor worked with him Ladon's eyes then averted across the room, scanning the place once more. If it was severe, then he thought that Carlisle would be nice enough to let them stay the night. He also noticed that the human didn't seem to recognize him as a prince. That was a good thing he supposed. If Luhan wanted to see a healer in secret anyway. He still remained quiet, occasionally looking back at them to see what was wrong with him. He tried to hide the worry in his eyes the best he could, keeping a blank expression on his face.

Carlisle smiled reassuring at the young man, turning his gaze away as he removed his shirt until he lay back down. A sudden feeling of nausea with no apparent cause was strange. Especially with no other symptoms. "I'm going to press on and listen to your stomach. If you feel any pain please let me know." He leaned down then so that his ear could gently rest against the man's stomach. Normal gut sounds from what he could discern. Standing back up straight he began to gently press in various locations on his stomach, being as gently as he possibly could while still feeling for abnormalities. As his exam moved to the man's lower stomach Carlisle's brows would wrinkle with concern.
A mass?
It was strange and the location was almost the same as a pregnant woman would have an early developing babe. The sudden nausea...was he? No...No that was insane....right? This fellow was obviously male so the idea perplexed him. "I.." He began while still feeling the mass, after a few moments he would gently tug the man's shirt back down and step back. Rubbing the back of his neck when he spoke. "Had you been female I would have assumed you were pregnant, you have a mass of some sort accompanied by nausea its..." His thin shoulders rose in a slight shrug. "I cant be certain....maybe a magical healer can better tell. You have me stumped." He scratched at his cheek and looked over at Ladon before back to Luhan. "I wish I could give you more answers....I'm just unsure."

"Okay, I will." He gave a small nod in agreement before biting his lower lip yet again. He didn't know where to look, so he focused on the man's hand on his stomach. "Now that I think about it.. I have these mood swings.. and sometimes food doesn't seem too appealing for me." A soft hum escaped his lips as he was deep in thought. How come he never noticed these kind of things earlier? He looked up to Carlisle, noticing his confused expression. Was he really sick after all..? He furrowed his brows in worry, slowly sitting up with his hands still resting on the table for support.
Pregnant..? He couldn't be - that was impossible. "A..mass..? As in, there's something in my stomach?" He pursed his lips, glancing down at his tummy before looking up. The uncomfortable feeling was slowly coming back. "I've seen people..with these..strange things at various parts of their body, they were really ill.. maybe I have that?" He sighed gently, ruffling the back of his hair.

Ladon continued to gaze as Carlisle inspected him, but when he spoke his face lost all facade, turning into a shocked expression as his eyes widened, mouth gaped open. "What?" he asked, wondering if that was really true. He stepped away toward the wall and towards them, walking slowly. That was impossible. It couldn't really be, the prince, pregnant? The idea was extremely foreign to the ancient dragon. Never had he heard of such a thing, maybe the doctor was wrong but it was true, the symptoms that Luhan had described indeed matched what a woman would be like when she was pregnant. But it... couldn't have been possible. He doubted that suspicion, however he didn't know what else it could be. Ladon then stood before the table, gazing down at him although he wanted to feel for the mass himself he let the physician work his magic. He wondered if they really should see a healer that had magic. Despite his trust in the man, they might be able to do a better job at telling what was wrong than he. But he didn't know if Luhan would be up for that, to see another healer from his clan. However, he thought of an idea, and his head turned up to face the human again.
"Do you have any suggestions as to who we should see?" he decided to ask, thinking that probably Luhan would agree with that. That way it wouldn't be a healer that would know of him as a prince, especially with this... strange case that he had. Though, what the prince said that what he might have Ladon doubted, for the illness he spoke of didn't have those symptoms typically, or so the dragon thought what he was referring to.

Carlisle listened as Luhan spoke of other symptoms that only concerned him all the more. He shook his head slowly at the mans questions about the mass. "I can't really say if it is dangerous or not without actually seeing it....and surgery is always a last resort because of the risks." He looked between the two of them and again shook his head when they ask who to go to. "I don't have any personal contacts that are magical healers." He chewed on his lip as he stared at the two of them, knowing he had given them more worries than answers.
"Is...is it possible that he is pregnant?" Carlisle would never think it possible for two men to conceive a child. But perhaps Luhan had female attributes that he wasn't aware of? It wasn't as if he had done a full top to bottom exam.

The werebeast's eyes widened in surprise at the man's words. "S-Surgery?" He instantly wrapped his arms around his stomach, as if to protect it somehow. His feline ears then flattened in defense, lowering his gaze as he mumbled lowly. "I'm absolutely a male.." He then sulked, glancing over at Ladon as he spoke quietly. "If.. this is really..true -then we'll only know with time. ...What do you think..?" He frowned lightly in thought. It couldn't be true.. How would he explain it to his father, or anyone for that matter? His stomach would only grow, then..he'd be a father. He'd have to..run away with Ladon. Did Ladon even want a baby? Does he want a baby? The answers weren't clear to him at the moment. The fact that many mothers died during childbirth scared him. But perhaps he was getting ahead of himself. Although his face was flushed with a crimson color, the rest of his body seemed pale in comparison. He ran a hand through his hair, exhaling deeply as a method to calm himself down before taking couple steps towards the door, giving a small nod towards the doctor. "Well.. thank you for your services, nevertheless."

Ladon looked at the both of them confusedly, although his eyes mostly remained on Luhan. If this was... true, then he didn't know what to think of it. It was all happening so fast that he couldn't quite wrap his head around it. Would that mean... he was the father of this child? If it even was that. He hid the displeasure on his face upon hearing the doctor's answer. Well, it wasn't good that he didn't know any magical healers of the sort, then they would have to find one most likely. If worst came to worst, Ladon would have to resort to telling a healer from the clan. He knew that he didn't wish to see one but the guard didn't want to see him go. Not in this way. Not because they wanted to keep it a secret. He would much prefer the prince to be alive and healthy.
He then looked down at him as he spoke, then folded his arms over his chest, nodding grimly. Indeed, only time would tell, but for now though, they had to make sure that he would be alright before it would get any worse, and to make sure if what the doctor was telling them was actually true. He then looked up to Carlisle, with a look of thanks, if one could call it that. "Is it alright if he stays here for the night?" he then asked, looking at him somberly. "Just to make sure if it's true?" He didn't know himself, nor did he know who he should look for as a magical healer or if he should stay here with them. His mind was all a clutter at the moment. But then he reached into his pouch and gathered many gold coins. He then looked back up to him before handing them to him. "Here," he said, extending the open palm full of money toward him. |

Carlisle felt horrible and at a loss as to how to help Luhan. He rubbed the back of his neck and looked away sheepishly when the man answered that he was indeed a man. "My apologies..." He muttered softly, even if he hadn't really asked the question directly. There was a tension in the room now that was mired with disbelief. He hadn't helped the two of them in the least. However, when Ladon ask if Luhan could spend the night he nodded. "Of course, you are both welcome here. Hopefully, Erin won't keep the both of you awake, it seems you have had a long day." As if to punctuate the point Erin suddenly squealed from her crib and then stuck her foot in her mouth, rocking back as she chewed on her newest discovery. Carlisle turned and looked over his shoulder at her with a fond smile.
"I can get you both some blankets, I'm afraid I don't have any extra beds." While he would have offered his own to the sick man Erin slept upstairs and he had no intentions of leaving her with a stranger. Even someone who seemed harmless. "Have you tried mint tea? It helps with nausea sometimes..." -with pregnant women. He tapped his chin thoughtfully and contemplated what else he might have of use.

"It's alright, no worries." He smiled reassuringly in response to Carlisle's apology before turning his head to glance at Ladon. "Oh, I--" he was about to protest but remained quiet instead. He did not wish to bother the physician any longer they already had. He then pursed his lips at the sight of the gold coins in the guard's hand, mumbling quietly under his breath. "I could pay-" The baby's squeal caught his attention, ears twitching once more as he looked over at the girl. The tip of his tail swayed curiously as he let out a soft hum in thought. After all..a baby didn't seem so bad. At the moment it was just.. bad timing for the couple. "Mint tea.." He looked over at the doctor, tipping his head slightly to the side. "I will try that, thank you." He nodded slightly before rubbing his arm, lowering his gaze at the ground for a moment. "For now, I will go for a walk to clear my mind." He gave both men a brief glance before slowly making his way out of the premises, walking at a slow pace as he kept his head low for a while.
He ran a hand through his hair, exhaling out softly. Surely, he needed fresh air to think clearly. His mind was bombarded with thousands of thoughts.. How did he end up like this? He even used to think that his life was difficult before he met Ladon - but that was nothing compared to what he was going through at the moment. Was it wrong that he stopped focusing on being a proper prince? The past few weeks all he cared about was to be with Ladon, instead of doing his usual classes and preparations to be a king. He thought that his goal was to be a clan leader, but that wish was slowly fading away.. only to be replaced with something else. He didn't wish for that anymore, he only longed for the emotions he felt whenever he was around Ladon. Was he being immature..? Young, and foolishly in love, like in the books he read? What kind of prince would put his love life over the kingdom?
He soon reached a secluded spot, walking towards a tree and sitting down by its shadow. He leaned his head against the trunk, closing his eyes as he exhaled deeply in thought.
