Carlisle is tall and lean, his clothing often hiding the extent of his musculature. He is actually quite strong, something that one wouldn't assume just by being in the presence of the quiet unassuming physician. His hair is dark as are his eyes. Often he had stubble on his face from going too long between shaves, simply being too tired to take those extra moments with his busy schedule. His skin of tan although it is obvious it is naturally so and no from extended time in the sunlight. He rarely gets to see the light of day beyond his windows.

Carlisle is a kind good hearted man. He will go out of his way to help another being and cares not what race they might be. He isn’t a violent man and it generally takes a lot to get his temper to flare. Even so it would be unlikely that he would become violent. He is a glass half full kind of man who tried to stay calm in dangerous situations. (Something that is needed given his occupation)

Carlile’s parents were both human. His father a physician and his mother an assistant. They were good kind people who worked hard and made little as his father was never one to take payment from those he didn’t think could afford to spare the coin. It was inevitable really that looking up to such a man that Carlisle would want to take over for his father one day. Studying under him and assisting until the aging man handed over the reigns. Both are still alive and Carlisle takes care of them as best he can financially.

But Carlisle also has another responsibility. Not long after he took over his father’s business he was working late stitching a farmers leg after a mishap with a sickle when there was a loud wailing cry from outside the door. Curious. But there were plenty of babies around. The crying continued and Carlisle eventually went to the door to see a small infant lying in a basket bundled in thin cloth. After a quick trip up and down the street cradling the child in his arms it became apparent that the infant had been left to him.

He found a wet nurse for the child that night and intended to take her to the orphanage the next morning but he never did. He kept saying he should. He couldn’t raise a child alone. But months have since passed and all mention of an orphanage has dropped. She is his daughter now even if not by blood.

Carlisle lives in his home with his daughter above his office. His parents live on the same street. He has no siblings and his daughter will be npc. He has no training with weapons.
