Ives spends all of his time in the library. It’s open from morning till evening almost everyday when he is present. Sometimes he will go travelling to collect more records on the elves. He is Lore Keeper, and deemed to be pretty wise and knowledgeable about elf lore and history. He has random occurrences where he sees things from plants’ perspectives, and uses this to either help with his research or nothing at all. He is pretty devout to the Goddess of Nature and often visits the temple during some nights when he has the time. He also hates all of the other races except for the elves.
FRIENDSHIPS
To be Ives’ friend, you’ll most likely have to be an elf. He is very kind to elves, but is mean to anyone of the other races. Bonus points if his friend is also racist. Although he knows his opinion is not too common amongst the elves, he still thinks that he is right. If your person is of another race, he will initially have a judging view on them but over time he might become their friend and put their differences aside (although he might claim that they are just an exception). Other good traits to be his friend include being a bookworm, having an interest in books, history, or elven culture. Also if they were devoted to the Goddess of Nature he would have that in common as well. With close friends he might begin to open up and talk about his magic and its devastating cost, along as other things such as his dislike for his parents and how they had an effect on him.
HATESHIPS
Ives doesn’t leave the library much, but there is still a chance someone doesn’t like him will come find him, especially if they’re of another race and he did or said something to tick them off. But to be his enemy though, harm the library or the books within it. Or cause lots of racket in the library, as this is a good way to make him angry. He holds lots of value in his research, so anything that would threaten to destroy his life’s work would cause him to be extremely angry. But other than that he minds his own business, so more enemies would have to come to him or threaten him so he would have to fight back. You don’t have to be of another race to be his enemy though, as he just looks down on them, and considers their bad acts as just apart of their nature. But it is not often he discusses his views, as he knows that not many think the same that he does so usually he keeps quiet about it. Another thing he dislikes is when people are loud in the library or they cause a mess. It’s not enough to be his enemy, but it is to get on his bad side. He spends all day trying to make it quiet so that they can read and tries to make it tidy, so all of his work would be gone to waste.
LOVESHIPS
Ives has a relationship with Rook Thriasi , although it is almost always angsty. They're both dying supposedly due to a dangerous plant in the Dryhtwood Forst, and it is causing them a lot of drama. xD Can they ever find happiness? Will Grook ever be able to see his parents again? Is he even going to be born in the first place? So many questions that need to be answered.
