On his way to Cendra, Ladon rode. It was not too far of a ride, so far he had been traveling for about three days total. The horse Shimmer had given to him was holding up well, surprising his expectations however maybe it was the fact that he wasn't accustomed to riding other beasts, for the dragon that he was. The grass was green, the sun was high in the sky, just passing by the Fallen City Ruins, he could still see some ruined parts of long gone buildings here and there, some jutting from the ground with broken sharp ends. He continued to ride upon the dirt, the somewhat path some might call it, however there was no one else in sight. He could see a few ice patches here and there, perhaps it wasn't as cold here as it was in some parts. As the ruins behind him disappeared, he could see Cendra City out in the distance. He tried to remember what Shimmer asked of him. A woman, was it? A mage preferably. Made sense, considering her dragon form. What she had mentioned before irked him, why. Why a dragon. He would never know, but it brought some sense of hatred, resentment, hope, restoration, conflicted emotions. He tried to push those thoughts from his head. The blonde man wore dark clothing, as was his new attire, much contrasting from before. Even donned a hat, as to not stand out much further than the crowd, and to conceal his identity. But, the only problem was, the guards. Even now he could see a few, patrolling out in the distance. What humans took for their own, he thought inwardly, even they thought all of Mir belonged to them. Though it might not entirely be the case, he indeed thought so as he continued to ride. But how, how was he going to find someone and bring them back without raising suspicion? He pondered. But as he continued riding, he spotted a woman not too far away. He pulled the reins of the horse to a slow halt, trotting sideways a tad before stopping completely as his dark eyes scanned the figure. Those wings, they stood out. A fae, no doubt. This was a far enough location that the guards would not be able to see him kidnap her, or so he hoped. But she looked lithe, she may not be able to put up a fight if he acted swiftly, strongly.
Sliding from down the horse, as to not draw any attention from himself, the man pulled the horse toward one of the broken pillars, leaving it there before heading toward the direction of the fae. Fae had magic, so it would be best to bring her something that had magic, a mage in Cendra might prove to be more of a fight, he thought. But, his eyes were dead, coldly staring at her as he approached. There was nothing in his hands, on the sides of his coat, as he drew near, from behind her, other than something hidden beneath his sleeve. Encroaching even closer behind her, his footsteps light and unheard, he then suddenly sprung into action, leaping behind her as he took hold of both of her arms, the rope sliding out from his sleeve as he wrapped it around her wrists in a tight hold. She could scream, but she couldn't escape his harsh grasp as he then pushed her toward a small stone wall, trying to overpower her as he pulled the rope into a tighter knot, knowing that it will suffice. So far it seemed she had no weapons, and once he was finished with that he then just did what he planned on doing, throwing her over his shoulder as he walked to where his horse had been placed. She could scream, she could try to plea with him, question where he was taking her, all of this didn't matter to him. The guards were further out in the distance, and he lacked a gag or knock out potions. This was the best he could do, since he hadn't arrived in the city where the supplies would be. But this didn't matter to him. A fairy was just as good as a mage, in his mind. He really didn't care if Shimmer would be disappointed in him not bringing her a mage or not. In fact she had more tasks for him to run and bring her more people didn't she? Something about orphans or children. That would be... a little bit more difficult than this one. But, the dragon lacked experience with kidnappings. This is the first time he ever attempted to do something like this, for the old dragon used to sit there by the river, lending wisdom for those who sought it. But now he was something different, something not himself as he performed such acts driven off emotion. So far it had gone well, he had not been detected as far as he knew.
When reaching the horse he placed her on its back, behind the saddle as he slid himself back on in front of her. She could probably kick and yell, he didn't care as his face looked forward, kicking the horse as to command it to ride forth. Soon enough the horse began to go forth, turning around back toward the Fallen City Ruins from which he came from. But of course that's not where he was headed. He would head around that location so that he could avoid detection and reach the Duskmire Woods faster. The horse came into a gallop, and they rode fast as the hoofbeats collided with the dirt and grass below. His dark eyes looked forth, not even concerned with his new hostage that he had captured. However, that was until he had reached past a few of the ruins. There were two human guards there behind one of the broken walls, taking notice of what was happening. "You there! Stop!" one called out. But Ladon just rode on. He would lose them eventually. But that wasn't until he could feel the horse skid toward the side, sending him and the girl onto the ground as it tumbled. It had got hit with an arrow on its side, causing the beast to neigh with pain as it took off in an entirely different direction. "Shit..." Ladon cursed underneath his breath. The girl didn't fall too far away from where he was, and he had gotten a few bruises and cuts but he crawled toward her nevertheless. He couldn't lose his one victim. Not now. Scooping her up into standing position, he too rose. "You need to run, now," he commanded, him right behind her as he held tightly onto her roped wrist. "Or else this will be the last you ever see." He then threatened, a whisper in her ear however he himself even lacked a knife against her throat to prove it to her.

Lux was still biding her time before returning home. Giving her body and wings time to heal as much as possible before she would face her undoubtedly fretful mother. It had been many many years... She was lost in thoughts of old times when hurried footsteps behind her would drag her blue eyes around just in time to feel the powerful hold of someone stronger than herself. She of course struggled, twisting this way and that. But it was the rope that settled into the grooves of her wrists that caused her to go deathly still. She had worn such a restraint for nearly a century. Was this someone sent to take her back to that life? She whimpered when he pushed her forward and tightened the rope, the old scar tissue burning from his abuse. "Please, don't." Her words were weak and lined with panic. But he hefted her thin frame onto his shoulder as if she were nothing and the hybrid slumped against him with a painful resolve as to where she was going.
Being strapped to the horse was even more uncomfortable and its footsteps made her queasy.Eventually, she found her voice again, weakly asking where they were going only to have him ignore her entirely. He must have been from the slavers...it was the only thing that made sense to her.
There was a slight commotion. Some yelling, and the sudden rigidity of the horse beneath her stomach. Then she was being thrown and landed hard enough to knock the breath from her lungs and skin her hands and knees. She didn't even have her bearings when the tall sharp-featured man who had grabbed her was yelling. Telling her to run lest he kill her. But...wasn't she running toward something worse than death? She rolled onto her side but made no attempt to go further, her hands twisted awkwardly behind her were bleeding along the knuckles that had caught on the ground harshly. "I would rather die than go back there." She answered him, her voice quiet but firm. Steadfast in her decision that death was the better often. "Please..." She could hear the angry voices of the human guards drawing closer. Her blue eyes stared up pleadingly from where she had been thrown to the ground. "Don't do this."

She'd rather die than live? Was this woman really that dense? Well at least she barely put up much of a fight, but Ladon wasn't very accustomed to this thing. The only thing he could resort to was... trickery. Although he would have probably frowned upon himself in his past life, but for now it was all he could manage. The wisdom of the ancient dragon wasn't much in this form, his mind so clouded with emotion. Hate. Grief. Anger. All of this caused him to become what he was now, even so leading to his foolish actions. "You will not be going back there, where I'm taking you," he lied, smooth whispers close to where she could hear it. His voice was low, perhaps one may interpret it with a seductive ring to it, however that was far from his intention. Rather it was intended to get her to calm down, to think their destination was anything but, torture. But it will be for her. Even though it might seem like he was saving her, a dark hero in the midst of all this chaos, this young woman had already been trapped within the spider's web. She was already doomed for death. Although Shimmer would be less likely to give her a painless one, more than he could. Either way, getting her to believe in a fantasy, or maybe even something that'd save her from a life of mediocrity, was his best bet in this game.
"Now move," he ordered, nudging her forward harshly. He could still hear the voices of the humans, but they were getting... calmer? From where he was he could overhear their conversation. The weather? Were they serious?! Were they seriously discussing the weather as they were running toward him and his captive? Well, nothing he could think further about it as he hoped the girl would move soon.
