Magical Ability:

Air manipulation is Sammy's magical ability. He can create and destroy winds, however the strong the wind, the more energy it takes. He is able to remove oxygen from the air around himself and others and create bubbles of air when in the water. He has a bigger lung capacity than most, and he attributes that to his air ability.

Appearance:

Sammy has a softly curved face and big expressive hazel eyes with long eyelashes. His hair is a dark brown and his skin is darker than most elves. His ears are barely pointed and he is fairly short for an elf. Because of this, most people assume he is a human, even other elves. He has an average sized nose for his face and he has a very small beard. He is most often seen in clothes that he has worn for 3 days straight and that he has owned for 10 years. He rarely wears new clothes unless a friend takes pity on him, as such he looks quite poor even though that is no where near the truth. He wears a quartz crystal on a cord around his neck and has a good luck anklet. Inbetween his shoulders he has a tattoo of a pegasus. On his outer thigh he has a series of names on his leg, Adriette, Cyndia and Marco which he doesn't talk about.

Personality:

Sammy is a complicated man but in his core being he is compassionate and mild tempered. He is firm but kind to all of those he likes and will not go above and beyond to get revenge on those in which he hates. He doesn't hold grudges for very long and is respectful to all that respect him. He has a strong sense of who he is, and that can sometimes come off as arrogant. He is snarky, sarcastic and sweet to all of his cosest friends. Sammy is blunt and sometimes to a point that it hurts other people's feelings although that is often not his intension. He tries his hardest to listen to all sides of the story and is very indecisive in his choices.

History:

Sammy was born into a nobleclass of elves, to Carla and Theodore Thayer. He was raised by a nanny for most of his life, only seeing his parent's for dinner and parties. His best friend was the nanny's son, and they often played together until Sam was sent to train to be a soldier. He still lived in the same city but his best friend was no longer allowed to see him. He became a resonably good soldier, and was even close to become a commander but it was not the life he wanted. He had a yearning for the sea, that could be quenched by boring day to day routine. The staw that broke the camels back was when his parent's arranged an engagement for him. He ended up fleeing the kingdom to the human cities on the coast.

[break]He joined the crew of a merchant ship and enjoyed it to his upmost. As he was the newest on the crew, he got all the worst jobs but just the freedom of being on the open seas made up for it. A few months later, a pirate ship attacked the ship. Samuel tried to fight back but was so unused to the situation that he ended up getting captured. While on the pirate ship, he was given a lot of free reign as he going to be release on the mainland as soon as possible. In that time, he fell in love with a werebeast named Adriette. They had a passionate affair that ended with her pregnant so when they got to mainland, she also left with him. They hybrid twins, one named Cyndia and the other Marco.

Unfortunately, Marco and Adriette very sick in their stay in the coastal city and it spread to Cyndia too. After about two months all three of them were dead. Sammy had not caught the disease as he had been working as an apprentice to a blacksmith at that point which had taken most of his time. He spent a few more months in the coastal city, devesated by his loss until the grief became a fuel for his day to day life. He joined a pirate ship, and worked his way up to the top as second mate. Then, his captain disappeared and he had to take up the mantle of First Mate.

He usually uses a long dagger to fight with, prefering to keep his magic out of the battlefield. He wants a pet, but he hasn't found the right animal yet.
