A product of his surroundings, Osric is tall, pale, and serious. Standing at six feet tall, he stands tall over many other men. He is muscular and strong as a product of his training as a knight. He has pale skin with a close-cropped beard and mustache, as well as curly, dark brown hair. His eyes are like chips of ice.

Osric wears mostly sensible clothes, and armor when he is on duty. He usually has at least one weapon on his person, which is typically concealed. His wolf form is a dark brown and cream wolf, with amber eyes.

Despite his lowborn status, Osric has taken to the life of a knight very well and his training has molded his worldview. As a child, he was more introverted and nervous, but his companionship with his fellow knights has brought out his more friendly, outgoing side. He even enjoys going out for drinks occasionally and flirting with local girls. After all, knights are often seen as attractive even if they aren't physically. To his king, he is devoted and loyal and will do anything for him.

But, like all people, Osric is a balance between positive and negative traits. As a werebeast posing as a human, he can be a bit secretive and likes his privacy sometimes. His greatest fear is that someone will find him out and kill him or banish him; he loves his life and so will do anything to keep it the way it is. In addition to his secretiveness, Osric can be impatient and stubborn, as well as sometimes arrogant. On the whole, however, Osric is a generally good man and a loyal knight.

Osric was born to a young couple who didn't know what they were doing. One was a human and the other a werebeast. Determining that it was likely for the child to be a werebeast, as soon as he was born, his parents left him in the forest, under a tree with snow surrounding him. He was soon found by another couple, however, one that had been trying to conceive children and failing. Osric was raised by the couple who never treated him as anything less than their own blood. Osric's adopted father, Jorge, was a relatively wealthy merchant.

As Osric grew, he soon realized that he was different from the other children. He could shift into a wolf. Terrified after his first shift, he told his parents, who explained to him that he was adopted and was a werebeast. Before he had the chance to run away, though, his parents had a bold idea; have young Osric become a page and no one would suspect him as a werebeast. The couple wanted their son to be able to live a normal life as a human. So, when he was eight years old, the boy went away to the capital city to page under Sir Arnould.

His years as a page were some of the most formative. His personality began to quickly change, learning the skills of a knight as well as the values of them. One of the other pages was Corvo, the young prince. The pair quickly became friends, training together almost everyday. Osric showed a great potential as a knight, advancing quickly through his training. In addition, he had been training with his shifting, and had soon mastered a seamless transformation. However, as he was posing as a human, he kept these private training sessions secret, signaling the beginning of his secretive nature.

When Osric and Corvo were sixteen and fifteen, respectively, they and their knights rode to a town with a bandit problem and the two squires saw their first battle. Osric had never been more thrilled and performed very well in the battle, with a ferocity to match the knight he was squiring for, earning his nickname that eventually replaced his last name: Fellblade. The young man soon developed a taste for battle that seemed a bit reckless for a knight. Nevertheless, soon after, Osric completed his training and entered the world as a full knight serving under the human crown. He has been that way ever since, protecting the humans while keeping his true nature secret. How long could it be before he is discovered?
