Adelaide is a beautiful woman. Where in childhood, she appeared small and sickly, she has grown into her pale skin and her petite physique. She is still slender, but has appropriate curves.

The woman has an attractive, heart-shaped face, sporting calm blue eyes overshadowed by thin, dark eyebrows. Her plump lips often part in a gentle smile. Surrounding her face is long, wavy, honey-brown hair which is often pulled back on the sides. Her hair, which she is very proud of, reaches all the way to her hips.

Adelaide, as a noblewoman, has access to some of the finest clothes available, and she often takes advantage of this. She loves clothes in light pink or blue, and she is generally very fashion-forward.

Adelaide is a gentle soul, following the tradition of the women in her family. She speaks eloquently but softly, and has never been known to raise her voice in anger. She is known for her politeness and courtly skill, but she can be a bit shy when it comes to making friends.

All of her tact, quiet charm, and good breeding, however, coer a drive to get ahead, ambition, and a sharp intellect. Her favorite pastimes include reading and writing as well as riding her palomino horse, Lady. She never expected to be engaged to the prince, but here she is, about to marry one of the most powerful men in Oedir.

Adelaide, like everyone, is not without her flaws, of course. She can be a bit dishonest by omission, due to her training in politeness. She is also known to become a bit impulsive when afraid, and some may accuse her of cowardice because of her fear of another war. She can also be a bit vain, but has been trying to curb this impulse.

But despite her flaws, Adelaide is a patient, caring woman, donating much of her time to charity. She hopes to be the best wife she can be to Corvo.

Adelaide Trenholm was born on a warm summer's evening to a noble family. From an early age, her parents expected her to grow to be married to a rich nobleman in order to extend her family's reach. Therefore, from the time she could speak and understand the words of others, her mother took on her training for marriage, schooling the young girl in the most minute rules of etiquette. The girl's childhood was not without fun, however. Many times, she would play with the other highborn children, including the prince himself. As the children grew, they became close friends. But as soon as the prince turned eight, he began his work as a page and Adelaide saw next to nothing of him for years.

Meanwhile, her training continued. She learned embroidery, music, history, and, most importantly, etiquette. Soon enough, she had blossomed into a young woman with grace and charm to rival the princess herself. Soon, as Adelaide entered the court as a full representative of her family, she began to see the young prince more and more. Their relationship, naturally, was nothing like it used to be, but Adelaide remembered fondly their childhood together. Eventually, the Trenholm's close relationship with the royal family allowed for a marriage match to be made, and Adelaide and Corvo were engaged. Now, the young woman anxiously awaits her wedding day, not without nervousness; will she be prepared for marriage?
