Aidana stands at an underwhelming four feet, however, she makes up for it in radiant beauty with dark curls cascading down over her back, often it is tied back in elaborate small braids. Often her minor sideburns, which reach down to her jaw, are braided back into her hair. Her skin is a soft caramel brown with little imperfections here and there in the form of a few freckles. Her eyes are a deep brown circled by long lashes and topped with dark eyebrows. Despite her small stature, she has the curves of a woman and she has mastered the art of looking far less sturdy and broad as some dwarves are. She carries herself with grace and confidence, her head held high. She adores reds and blues for more formal wear and softer colours for more casual wear, mostly she is seen wearing dresses, but it would not be unheard of for her to pull on a set of trousers and a shirt if she needed to.  Her dresses are often adorned with small precious stones or with gold or silver threads woven into the fabric. If she is not wearing half the riches of her kingdom on her dress, then she is wearing it in jewellery. While she carries herself as a princess and with all the grace in the world, she has been taught the way of the sword and shield, her body is tightly toned with muscle and she can move with as much grace with a sword in her hand as she can at court.

The dwarven princess has been taught how to walk, talk and think from the day she was born, it is a guide she clings to when things get rough and she needs to find some sort of support or set of rules to follow. She has built up a very regal facade over the years hiding a more anxious side of herself under it along with her feelings. She comes off as arrogant and snobby to some, but she knows how to behave herself, she knows when to compliment, comment and stay silent, she was simply raised in a world where she wanted for nothing and it has become the norm that whatever she wished for she got. She has learned to bottle up her feelings quite expertly, but when she doesn't she feels deeply and often she ends up acting out when the bottle overflows. Either in the form of an overly emotional response to something small or doing something out of character for her.

She makes friends rather easily, but true friends are hard to come by these days and she has few she lets in under her perfect armour. Mostly because she fears they will find her anxious-self weak and reject her, but those she does share her troubles with she expect to keep their conversations a secret. She does not see that most of her amour is actually part of her self and she is stronger than she thinks. She mostly serves herself and her family's needs and if she does anything for someone else it is either to maintain her own image or because she genuinely cares about the person. This is also the only reason why she mingles with commoners at times, to keep the image of a soft, kind and yet strong and regal princess. A friend to the people.
[break]The dwarf maiden has a wild temper too, she doesn't take kindly to being refused or denied something and she will mostly act out in passive-aggressive ways to get back at whoever refused her. She can get creative and if you one day find your whole wardrobe in odd and ridiculous colours she is most likely the culprit.
[break]When it comes to love she loves fiercely and with a passion. She is not someone who jumps into the bed of just about anyone, she likes to think she has high standards, but it happens from time to time that she lowers then to abysmal levels... She does, however, have rather specific taste, which has caused her to find her self in the company of lower citizen more often than not. It is a closely guarded secret of hers and she has yet to be seen mingling with the criminals and more questionable folk.

History

Daughter of the Emperor and Empress of the Airen Kingdom. She grew up wanting for nothing and had a relatively normal childhood. She was taught how to dance, how to sing, speak and behave as the royal princess she was. She did her best to please her parents and she did so for many years until she reached an age of a quiet rebellion. She begged and pleaded with her father to let her train with her younger brothers, to learn how to fight. He refused and she fought him on the decision at first, before he started to remind her of who she was and that she was not meant to go to war. So under the cover of night, the young dwarf of 40 years old found a travelling hybrid - half dwarf and half werebeast - he taught her how to fight with the sword and shield. How to protect her self and stun a much larger opponent. She was not an expert, but she became proficient enough to defend herself against her teacher. She kept training to be strong enough to protect herself and it helped her to grow stronger and more secure about her path in life. She started to attend parties with her family and as the years passed she even went to the other kingdoms alone. She started to help her brothers with their schooling as well, in turn, she got a glimpse of how the kingdom was run and what was expected of the brother who was to succeed their father. 
[break][break]Aidana had a peaceful life, away from war and any real conflict. So when she wanted to go to Emberi for a ball she was allowed to go as the representant for her kingdom. It all ended horribly. When the were-beasts transformed and attacked she managed to get bitten by a large were-dog, which has kept her from travelling home for a while until she is stronger. The conflict she experienced at the ball took its toll on her since she has lived a rather sheltered life so far [break]

Family:  Aidana is the first born child of the Dwarven Emperor and Empress. She is not the successor to the throne, even though she sometimes wishes it were so. She loves her family dearly and their opinions are highly valued.

Notable items: She has a crystal in her possession which is enchanted. It allows her to connect to the other crystal shards cut from the same crystal. There are a total of five shards cut from the same crystal and with the same magic. It is in the possession of the royal family and enables them to contact each other over large distances. [break] She has a white cat which travels with her called Myria. Myria has been trained to act as a messenger for her and can carry small pieces of parchment in her collar.
