Eolande has the ability of scrying; she can look into a mirror and conjure up a vision of current people; however, she cannot see that person’s surroundings or hear what they are saying. This power is a mix between Spirit and Earth.

Appearance:

Eolande is a beautiful young woman, as all other elves are. She stands shorter than her brothers, though taller than most humans, at 5"10, and supplements her tall stature with immaculate posture and a queenly bearing. She holds herself with dignity and pride as befits the princess of the elves. A long, slender neck is crowned by a round face, set into which are warm brown eyes, alluring lips, and supple, creamy skin, carefully cultivated and maintained through a strict regimen. She has an easy, bright smile. Eolande's deep brown locks reach down to her waist, and she usually wears it down or pulled back on the sides.

The princess's style of dress is fashionable as can be; she is either following trends or setting them with her polychromous wardrobe. She is capable of wearing nearly any color well, though she favors light, airy blues or blacks and whites.

Personality:

Eolande is an essentially kind soul. She has a deep sense of compassion, always trying to put herself into other people's shoes so she can see where they are coming from. She comports herself with the utmost in dignity and grace, soft-spoken, generous, and caring about her family's subjects. If anything were to happen to her brothers, she would be able to manage the kingdom; however, she has no desire to step into such a role. She would much rather continue her life in the pleasant way it is going currently.

She cares very deeply about her family, even her bastard brother, whom she was too young to remember him not being a part of her life. She would sacrifice everything for her family.

However, Eolande isn't perfect. She can be a bit spoiled, being the youngest of a family of wealthy royals. She is used to getting her way after all these years. She also has a temper occasionally, though it rarely appears; she tries to keep it under lock. Her temper usually only comes out when dealing with her mother or father.


Eolande tends to be down-to-earth, not generally thinking herself above the others in her race. She likes meeting new people, riding horses, embroidery, spending time with friends, and reading. She dislikes uncleanliness and messiness, conflict, dogs, and rain.

History:

Eolande is the youngest member of the Elvish royal family. From an early age, she was spoiled by all the members of the family, given anything she wanted. She was a free spirited child, wanting nothing more than to run around with her friends and play her games. She began lessons in how to be a proper young lady when she was around seven years old, an effort by her parents to keep her from acting like her older brother, Cyril, who was acting out quite a bit. The lessons stuck, and since, she has always put great store in acting prim and proper in all situations. Soon enough, she discovered her power, which was scrying in mirrors. She was playing with one of her hand mirrors, pretending to have a magic mirror that could show her anyone, when she asked to see her friend. Lo and behold, there her friend was, clear as day, in the mirror. She doesn't often use her power unless she is concerned about someone, however.

When she was nine years old, a new addition made it into her life: her brother Mori. It was an exciting thing to have someone new in the palace, but the boy seemed largely ambivalent towards Eolande, and even teased her some, so she continued playing with her own friends and didn't grow very close to him.

While Cyril was rather distant with her as well her whole childhood, he was still kind enough to her. But when he was around 87, a great change came over him, and Eolande was very confused as to why. Suddenly, he wasn't as distant and was kinder, but he wasn't the free spirit he once was. Eolande wasn't sure what to make of this change but she was too afraid to ask him, so she simply accepted his new personality.

Eolande is now 81 years old, and still living her life in largely the same way she always has. She has found new pursuits to fill her days, such as exploring the forest on horse back and spending time with other young women, especially noblewomen. She is expecting to be betrothed at some point, but she is still a young elf who has hundreds of years ahead of her. Who knows what will happen to her?
