Arxis was gifted with the power of corruptive darkness. This means he can manipulate, consume, create pure dark energy into things and beings, applying in the lasts of physical and mental form. Via corrupting the mind he can take control over the being if it/he/she lacks enough power of will. Arxis's power can act physically, infecting the being or the object, changing it's form, physiology or it's nature into something twisted. The darkness can be canalized as energy and input onto objects, thus this, causing more damage or protection.
Weakness: Use of this magic tires Arxis, the amount of energy wasted is proportional to the use of the gift itself. If overused, Arxis can be permanently consumed by darkness...

Arxis has the appearance of 40-50 years old person, showing some wrinkles in his face. He has short black hair with a few grey hairs. His height is 5'7, he weighs 178 lb. Arxis usually wears dark spectrum clothes with some navy blue details. He rathers using his armor, always prepared for battle, using formal clothes only for special occasions. Arxis takes his great sword wherever he went, never letting it alone, being one of the only memories of his past.

Arxis acts in a really serious way, he can't indulge in relax. Due to his work as a royal guard, he must be alert at all times. Arxis is a narcissist, seeing himself as the ultimate warrior, the perfect being, all his actions are the best that could possibly be done, blinding him from his errors, deep down knowing each of them to profundity, denying them to the others but trying to perfect them in secret. His narcissism led him to act in a manipulative way, making use of his gift of the immortal spring and his position in the court. In battle the greatest error he makes ( very commonly) is letting himself driven by his instincts, being stubborn and impulsive. Arxis tries to be respectful over his equals, treats with a false respect his superiors and belittles his inferiors. A great artist and forger (abilities that hadn't been used in a long time) and master of actuation. Deep down craving for power.

Arxis was born from an immortal mother and a human father, Ceccy and Manus, this relationship was forbidden by society and his son was to see as an atrocity. They hid the fact that Manus was human in many ways they could, even from his son. Arxis was born when his mother was 800 years old and his father 47. Arxis was expected to be a high aristocrat, part of the royal court of the Immortal King, his father was a blacksmith with an obsession of self-improving his profession to the point he wouldn't leave the forge until he was satisfied with his piece on work, that could take an entire week. Arxis mother was of a high line of warriors, both his mother and father fought in the war against the other races, she was meant to marry the commander of the army of that time, but her parents died in the war and she fell in love with Manus, she raised Arxis to stay away from battle and war, focusing his energy on writing, arts and (of course) smithing. Arxis had a normal childhood for an immortal. Manus lied to Arxis from his secret and never told him about him being a hybrid, he told everyone he was tired of life and that he had started the process of aging; in reality, his biggest fear was dead. At age 30 Arxis finally took the decision of drinking from the Immortal Spring. By that time his father was already dead. He finally took the sip from the spring, it felt wonderful, like an eternal thirst had been satiated. He instantly felt it, his gift was darkness itself, he corrupted some animals, twisting them into horrors, the darkness that lied on them was indescribable, Arxis was in love with his new power. He used his gift into what he was raised on, arts; he loved to take things and corrupt them into something beyond twisted, the beauty he saw in that was that it was beyond compression.

The war finally reached for him; the village in which he had lived his whole life got attacked by a legion of dwarfs, this village didn't had any warriors or defenses, being an easy prey, the legion burned down houses, killed everyone with no compassion. took prisoners and everything that seemed useful, Arxis followed the words with which he was raised on, stay out of battle, he hided the whole assault in his home, he lived with his mother, while the assault on the city went on he relaxed his mother about every worry and focused on his painting in process, a black tower of metal being powered by abilities and resources from all races, a beautiful sight for the eye, a piece in which he had been working for years; in the moment he did the last brushstroke the door cracked open and dwarfs took him and his mother prisoners, they noticed the art all along the house and they wanted him for this art pieces. The legion destroyed many of the artworks he had done, books, scripts, and paintings and corrupted creatures, stole a few and they took the weapons and armors did by him and his father, considering them good for an immortal blacksmith; but most importantly, they took his masterpiece, "The tower", Arxis tried to resist and attack back, a dwarf did a cut in Arxis's back with the greatsword Arxis's father had made long ago, Arxis kept fighting, this made the captain angry, he took the sword and Ceccy, put her before Arxis and cut her head, in that moment a flame into Arxis was lited, that flame long ago yearned for being lited, and now it was awakened with and with an explosion. Arxis created darkness and corrupted the minds of the dwarfs, they tried to resist, they felt that thing infecting their minds, letting them with no will, finally, Arxis took total control over them and made them kill each other in and horrible way enjoying every second, the worst part was that Arxis managed to let them with enough consciousness for them to feel the horrors they did to each other. The captain of the legion was the only one with enough willpower to resist Arxis corruption, he had in his power a gauntlet with a power stone attached to it, the gauntlet had some sort of telekinesis, the captain used this power to capture Arxis. Arxis was in rage and felt impotent, he knew he was going to be killed, he felt rage for his creations being destroyed and his life turned to shreds, the candle inside him burned harder and finally Arxis took control over the only creations left and used them against the captain, his puppets attacked the captain, Arxis got free from the telekinetic powers of the gauntlet, the monsters were like piranhas, they slowly ate the little dwarf, Arxis just looked with fascination. After that Arxis ran into the woods and he started corrupting everything in the forest, every plant, rock, and animal in his path got corrupted, they became permanently corrupted, all twisted into something horrible, after one hour of walking and constant corrupting Arxis felt something weird, he looked at his left hand, it was all dark and corrupted, he immediately , but the damage was already done, the corruption reach from his hand to his shoulder, he couldn't fix it, it was as well as the forest, permanently corrupted, twisted, darkened. He tough it was part of his gift, something that happened when he overused his gift, but in reality, it was an error created from him being a hybrid, and that wasn't the only error, he would actually age, but extremely slowly.

After the incident in his village, he took the best sword his father had made, a greatsword traveled to the city of the Imfala Kingdom and joined the army of the Immortal, craving for more battle, after 400 he mastered the sword, it was really heavy, but did a lot of damage, and after mastering, he made beautiful strokes and cuts that could be lethal. He fought in the war between races with great glory and brought victories to the kingdom, climbing into highest military ranks. Years went on and after a long time into the army he finally took a big place into royalty, he won the trust of the Immortal King, being proclaimed "Sir" and with his master of combat and battle he took the place of personal guardsmen of the king, most would say that rank is basically just a mere slave of the king, they'd be wrong, in fact, it was one of the most powerful roles in the kingdom. He is always near the king, he hears the most important events and knowledge in the kingdom, he can play the role of counselor for the king once in a while.

After the peace treaty and the end of war, he was furious, he wanted more power for the kingdom and himself, he wanted more battle. With the new royal family in charge and the tension between races, the bells of a new war coming he plans on war and pain for everyone. Nowadays he is 1230 years old and looks like someone in his 40's Arxis takes his role as guardsmen of the king while planning on a coup d'etat and taking down the royal family in the shadows, joining forces, controlling the king into the big board of chess in which he plays.
