"What did you do!!?"
It was like night and day. He had been so nice and then suddenly he just exploded. Larkin flinched away, or she would have if he hadn’t grabbed her slender wrist painfully. Ruined? How was she ruined? As he continued to rant about people taking her and her being damaged Larkin just stared at him with wide blue eyes. The fog in her mind cleared at last and she realized that there had been a reason she hadn’t recognized him. She didn’t know him at all. Slowly she began to understand just what was happening. She was being kidnapped. They would never take her like this? Was she being sold??
As a hybrid she had no actual rights, this man had known her name and a little about her….maybe he knew that as well? He gripped her wrist so hard she squeaked and drug her after him. Larkin numbly following while trying to stay on her feet. She couldn’t fight him off and she couldn’t see her books now. What could she do?
”Let me go! Please!” She whimpered. She didn’t want to slip into her rabbit form and basically forfeit any protection she might have in this man’s eyes. As an elf her people might try to find her, protect her. As a hybrid? No one would go out of their way to look for one of them. But she also wasn’t going to let this man take her.
Seeing no way out Larkin did the only thing she felt she could. She shifted. Her body suddenly shrinking and white fur sprouting through her skin. Her blue eyes stared up at him from where he ended up….dangling from his hand by her short little ears. Well….this had not gone as planned in the least. She started to kick and squirm, unable to do much because each wiggle made her sensitive ears ache.
”Put me down!” She cried out at him telepathically.

The ruby imperfection on her forehead forced such a hostile reaction that even he for a second hadn't recognized himself. He recognized what was beneath the aggression. It was fear. It was fear of losing his head because of an imperfect product that would be given to the Boss Man. It scared him. It scared him to his core that it reflected in his blue eyes and an almost quiver in his voice as he spoke to her. There wasn't much in this life that could get to him quite like his boss could. Larkin of all should know what it was like to be a hybrid and then to be a hybrid caught in the web of slavery to another species that had more rights? It was impossible. Most things he was desensitized to. He didn't fear death and though Boss Man could easily provide death to him that wouldn't be the road he would take. He would take a more torturous route to his faithful little wolf hybrid. He would cause Felix to painfully shift over and over and over again until his bones felt like they would crack and break. Until he felt like his insides would be vomited. He wasn't sure how he did it, to be honest, he didn't care how he did it but he knew one thing for certain, he didn't want to go through it again. Boss man even insisted each time he failed him it would be worse.... and that Felix would be wishing for death as it evaded him.
Blue eyes took in the look of horror and the way he features changed dramatically twisting once pretty soft features into something that panged him in his stomach. His heart clenched as he stared at her. It wasn't a feeling he had gotten very often and only few have been able to send it soaring through his soul but much like the others, Larkin's guilt was quick to be squashed by the fear he had for his boss. His brows furrowed as he tightened his grip on her wrist when she whimpered for him to let her go. "I'm done playing games." he snapped. His wolf growl slipped through his words as eyes seemed to take on a golden wolfish glow. Right as he stared back at her was when she changed her form and luckily it allowed him to still hold onto something. The tiny white rabbit stared up at him before resuming to kick and squirm, her voice now shouting in his head for him to let her go. "You are in no position to be making demands." he snapped and literally shook the rabbit. Once she seemed to have calmed a moment he looked at her. "No will you stop it? Because I can do it again." now that she was a little calmer for a moment he used his other hand to hold her by the scruff instead of her ears. He imagined it hurt and he wasn't actually trying to cause her pain... at least not right now anyways. "Better?"

And I've failed to see that your love is only, Skin deep He didn't release her, actually it was much the opposite. She stared up at him with wise blue eyes until her world began to spin and shake. Her stomach clenched and tiny white paws pulled tight against her tiny form as a bloodcurdling scream that could only be made by one of her kind tore from her furry lips. She closed her eyes and waited for it all to end, her short little ears felt as if they were being ripped from her skull. And then it was over and Felix was threatening her. She kept her eyes closed and just trembled in response. Unable to find her voice in those first few moments after being shaken so viciously. She felt him moving her, one hand gripping her scruff. Her first thought was that he was going to snap her neck. That he'd had enough of her already. "Please...don't." She mumbled weakly into his brain. Her tiny nose twitching as a tendril of icy fear shot down her spine. But then his grip settled on her loose skin only and the hand holding her ears released. The tension that left her body was visible, not only was he not going to choke her but he had also released his sensitive ears. "..much." She responded reluctantly but she was thankful for the re-positioning. Even if he had rattled her brains already. "Where are you taking me?" Her tiny tail twitched and her body hung limply in his grasp. Her head rising to sniff tentatively at the leg of his pants that brushed by her fur. "I won't tell anyone about you if you just let me go, please....I'm afraid."

TAGGED OUTFIT NOTES LOVELY NOTES WONDERFUL NOTES THAT ROCK MY SOCKS | If she was going to act that way then he might as well help her. Part of him wanted to shift into his wolf and hold her by his jaws and give her a nice warning shake but he resisted. That also meant he would have to get back into clothes while still trying to keep her contained. That wouldn’t work well. However now that she settled he switched his hands and held her at a comfortable spot on her neck instead. She then spoke once more and how weak her voice was started to tug on his emotions again.
He wished she would stop that.
Lowering his arm now to where she hung in his hand but close to his leg, he started walking after gathering her clothes of course. When she decided to shift back she didn’t need to be naked, he hadn’t anything to cover her with. Not that she would need much clothing now anyways. What she will be doing is something that required little to none. The thought caused him to wince a little. She seemed so sweet. She would immediately break under the humiliation she would be forced to go through.
”Stop it, Felix. She’s just another girl like the rest of them. They have no ties to you. She’s not your sister, mother, or aunt… you have no relationship with this woman don’t build one now.”
He had to readjust his thought process. For some reason this tiny rabbit was getting to him and the more she did the more he was beginning to question what he does. At her tiny voice again, he glanced down at her. ”Your life is about to get far more complicated and for that, I deeply apologize.” Sort of. He it wasn’t as deep as he put on that was for sure. ”You are being taken to a place where women become ladies of the night.” he wondered if she would know what he would mean. She seemed so innocent she probably wouldn’t. ”IF you don’t know what that is I suppose you will learn quick enough. There are a bunch of hungry men out there who would like an innocent thing like you.” It made him feel slightly queasy talking to her this way. It was easier with a strong girl like… say… Lucia for example. Larkin was delicate and this was making him uncomfortable.

And I've failed to see that your love is only, Skin deep A lady of the night? Her furry Brow wrinkled until he furthered the explanation and her stomach dropped. No...no no no. Not that. She panicked and her tiny white paws twitched against his pant leg when a tremor rolled over her. "Please Felix I-I cant do that. I've never even-" Her voice that she was projecting in his mind fell away as embarrassment filled her tiny body. She had waited all this time for some silly thought that when she did finally give herself to someone it would be someone that she cared for, that cared for her. Instead? She would be sold to the highest bidder like some animal. She was shaking all over now. Her little ivory whiskers twitching rapidly as she tried to calm down her fast hammering bunny heart. "P-please..." She felt like crying. She wanted to run back to safety. Back to the library where Ives could lecture her on how to file the books correctly or back home where he brother would joke her about being such a hermit. She didn't want this. "I can pay you or...well my brother can. I'm sure he would give you whatever you wanted." She was grasping at straws now but she didn't-no she couldn't face the type of life he was taking her to. It was too much. And being a rabbit the more upset she got the harder her heart beat. Anyone who knew about rabbits would know just how easy it was to scare a rabbit to death. And the more upset Larkin grew the harder her tiny bunny heart hammered, the more her little body shook, and the wider her big blue eyes stretched. She made a small squeaking sound and her breathing became harder until it was audible. "I can-I cant-I cant do this..." She manged between desperate breaths. WORDS: XXX TAGS: @tag NOTES: Meep

TAGGED OUTFIT NOTES LOVELY NOTES WONDERFUL NOTES THAT ROCK MY SOCKS | He wasn’t going to give in. She couldn’t make him give in. Shutting his emotions down he continued to walk as the rabbit seemed to become overly distressed. He knew it was a hard thing for someone to bear. The news was overwhelming. It was for him too when he found out his freedom was no longer his own. But that was his cross to bear as this was hers. No less her tearful voice was making his heart hurt. Every beat it made it felt like the organ was clenching and squeezing in pain. ” I know, Larkin.” he said a bit quieter this time before stopping and lifting the rabbit up to where he could actually look her in the eyes this time. Her whole little frame was trembling. It was sad to think this poor innocent thing was going to be so ruined. Utterly soiled by those cruel men who would pay a high dollar for such a pure soul. She would certainly rack in the dough. Sure everyone wants a bad girl but they also dream about a girl who didn’t have a clue about anything. So innocent. Cladded in white attire that spoke of purity. ”It’s not about money. At least not from you and your freedom will be offered in an insane amount of money you could never come up with. This man is like a big hungry pig. The more you feed him…. The more he wants. Nothing satisfies his hunger.” He knew that all too well. Blue eyes for a moment squeezed shut. ”please stop making this hard on the both of us. I know you are scared…. But it will be okay.” Will it really? Probably not but he didn’t need the poor thing dying of a heart attack right now neither. He didn’t wanna go fishing for another girl that he would have to spend more weeks on preparing to take. Besides Larkin’s paper work was already sent in to the Boss so he was expecting her… and expecting her within the next couple days. ”Would it be better if I let you shift back to being a human?” maybe instead of being a tiny rabbit she wouldn’t feel so much fear. He still felt queasy anyways maybe they both needed a moment.

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ He was telling her that there was no way out. No alternative. Larkin didn't reply to his words until he offered to let her shift back. She sniffled and whispered a soft 'please' into his mind. When lowered to the ground although he still hung onto her ear she began to shift. His grip quickly falling away. She hurriedly covered herself as the fur melted away as best as she possibly could with her arms then timidly reached out to take her shirt and skirt from him. Still moving awkwardly as she tried to position her body to the side and keep her arms over her most womanly parts.
"Will he hurt you? This...boss, if you don't take me back to him?"
Her voice was shaking but in her human form she had a bit more control over her panic. Not a lot. But some. Her arms crossed over her chest as if she still felt bare. Thin fingers nervously fiddling with the ivory strands of her hair that fell nearly to her waist. "I-I won't fight you anymore." Not that she really had in the first place, she had just wanted to escape. She chewed on her lip and peered up at Felix. The man who had all the answers to all the questions that were swirling in her brain.
She had been told before that she ask questions that she shouldn't. That she could be much too curious. But at this point she had no escape from something that terrified her. Maybe she could at least know a little more about what was coming. "My brother...he was always afraid something like this would happen. He always told me to hide what I was but, I guess someone...you found out." The elves wouldn't bother looking for her. Her bother would...maybe Ives. But other than them? No one. And the werebeasts? She didn't even know another like herself. "What they are going to do to me.....are they going to hurt me Felix?"

TAGGED OUTFIT NOTES LOVELY NOTES WONDERFUL NOTES THAT ROCK MY SOCKS | As she shifted back he was quick to divert his gaze. He didn’t want to taint her with his gaze upon her ivory form. It didn’t feel right. Once he felt skin, his hand fell away from her and he gladly handed back her clothing. The nausea he was feeling in the pit of his stomach wasn’t going away. In fact it felt like it was possibly getting worse the longer she continued to keep talking to him. The sweet bunny went from being prey to someone he wanted to hide from the world.
Eyes drift back towards her, the colors no longer the icy hatred shade of blue but more of a calming deepening blue like the ocean waters. He didn’t want to answer that question and the tick in his jaw showed obvious signs of it. ”We do not disappoint him.” he said with a stiff jaw. His obvious retaliation wanted to pop through but that was a side of himself he had to squash early in the game. ”He wants what he wants…. And he wants you.” She had been hand-picked from a pile of thousands. Something about her made the Boss tick and he wanted her. He wasn’t sure what it was but she was making something inside him grow a little too. He could see the wheels turning, the pure innocents that stared straight back at him that wanted answers. He couldn’t give her what she wanted even if he knew what it was she wanted to know. As she said she wouldn’t fight him anymore an actual genuine smile crossed his lips. She didn’t put up much of a fight but that was okay. He didn’t mind. Really the only thing that was bugging him was this creeping and nagging feeling of regret.
Not moving for the time being was starting to ease the nausea but when she spoke again about how she should hide who she was, he frowned. ”To be fair…. It wasn’t like you could hide. No one can.” he said. There wasn’t a person in these lands that boss didn’t know about and if there was….. It wouldn’t be before long he would find out about it. He was powerful. He was a man who knew too much and those who did most of his bidding… sadly felix…. Knew too much too. It was just a matter of threatening him to keep his mouth shut. Her next question caused him to finally look the opposite direction of her. ”I don’t know.” he said. Oh he did but he didn’t want her to start panicking on him again. ”I’m just told to bring you… and that as far as my connection goes.” again, wrong. If she was put in the flock like he thought… he would be her guardian. ”We need to get moving.” he said. He lowered his hand down to her. ”come on.”

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ Larkin frowned when he didn't exactly agree with her words but didn't deny then either. "I'm sorry....no one deserves to be hurt." She took slow hesitant steps along side Felix as her mind swirled with thoughts of what a horrible man his boss must be. At his words she looked up at him quickly and then tore her blue eyes away from him to look back down at the cool earth beneath her bare feet. At least it was getting on toward evening time now and the heat wasn't as horrible. And with Felix at her side the forest wasn't quite as terrifying.
"I don't understand why." It wasn't really said in a self deprecating way but more of she was a hybrid. Everyone acted like they were lesser than, like they couldn't be trusted. So why would someone go through all this trouble to get her? "I hope brother will be alright. He worries so much its not healthy for him." He said no one could escape the boss and Larkin looked down at her feet as she walked. He must be quite the powerful man.
Felix looked away when she ask the question about pain and Larkin felt a pang in her chest. She wasn't great at reading people but even she could see in his body language that the was lying. "Oh." She muttered softly, a new streak of fear shooting down her spine. When he offered his hand Larkin hesitated but a moment before reaching out to link her fingers with his own. Her small thumb falling to rest over his own. She didn't want to do this and she still didn't understand why anyone would do through so much trouble to kidnap her. There were so many more beautiful women out there. Women who knew how to appeal to the more carnal side of a man. How to dress and make themselves look even more appealing. Larkin was neither of those things.
"W-will we get there tonight?" She ask with a tremble in her voice. Her hand that didn't hold his own reaching across her body to curl around his wrist. She just needed the support that a touch could provide. If she was going to some horrible man she might not even come out of this alive. Or rather...horrible men. Her breath caught and the start of tears rolled down her porcelain cheeks. Larkin was quick to brush them away, she didn't want to be punished or shaken again...that had hurt.
Her fingers clutched his hand tighter and her panic kicked up a notch at the thought of getting there soon. Would they be cruel? Kind? Would she be eased into things or would it just...be taken? She had so many questions. "I had always thought it would be with someone I loved....thats foolish I know. I guess thats what I get for reading so many fairy tales." She bit her lip then shook her head to disperse the depressing thoughts.
"Thank you though, for letting me shift back and bringing my clothing." A forced smile followed her words and she swallowed against the lump in her throat.

TAGGED OUTFIT NOTES LOVELY NOTES WONDERFUL NOTES THAT ROCK MY SOCKS | She was different than from his other girls. The little blonde hybrid was beginning to make him feel terrible about this ordeal that he had no control over but… it made him want. It made him want to go against his boss. As she spoke it made that feeling even more prominent and he was doing his best to swallow it back. Jaws clenched tightly and though he knew she was right it wasn’t how the world worked. The world was cruel. He gave her a weak smile before drawing his eyes forwards until she finished with her clothing.
When they started moving again he felt as she grabbed his hand, hooking her fingers with his. Oddly his heart fluttered. He wasn’t entirely sure why but it reminded him of how peaceful and harmless such an interaction could be. It was a very foreign feeling but it was also kind of nice than the usual emotions he dealt with. She spoke once more and his eyes for a moment drawn down to their hands. She kept speaking things that were clearly just running through her mind and for a moment, he thought about it too. Would he come looking for her? He would probably be one of the only people who cared and perhaps one or two people weren’t something to be worried about. ”I am sure he will be okay.” he said not really knowing.
He felt like grim death just leading a child away to her doom. It was a very sick feeling even for him.
Had this been anyone else he probably would have gotten annoyed by Larkin’s trembling voice. The way she seemed so weak and fragile and why on earth would someone so powerful --- well… wait. He knew why. The man would likely get his rocks off with how delicate she was. Made him feel more superior compared to the mouthier girls who would sass back at the drop of a hat. Larkin would be the obedient quiet girl that would just nod her head and do as she is told. Fear keeping her simply in line. ”No. We have a couple days ahead of us.” He wasn’t sure who was more relieved him or her but either way he was glad. ”You are going straight to the boss. He is in one of two places. Where I and my---…” He winced a little. No.. he didn’t want to call them that to her. ”Where I reside and a different larger area.” He wasn’t sure why the boss had two places maybe to keep from being scented out. Either way Felix traveled so much he barely got to stay where his girls resided. He was called upon so much made to do just about everything. He wasn’t sure if it was because the boss trusted him so much or because he was simply another fool to do bidding and have no choice in the matter.
He tried to keep on track of their surroundings but he was feeling himself sort of drift off the direction they needed to go. This was so much easier being cruel. This was so much easier when the girls forced his hand but this one… this one simply toddled along beside him speaking because he imagined she was nervous but accepting the fate he brought on her. Once more the subject she spoke of made him slightly uncomfortable. With someone she loved? If only some people were so lucky. Some didn’t even generally get the choice on whether they wanted to lay down or not… Some.. crave contact of another just to not feel so lonely. ”I haven’t been with anyone since… well my girlfriend at the time.” he said. ”I thought it was love but it wasn’t.” Well that wasn’t entirely true. He did love her but she didn’t love him back. ”She has our little girl.” it must be a sick thing to think about as if ‘what was this his child?’… ‘what if his little girl was getting taken? Larkin was someone’s little girl after all.’ It was another reason he kept to himself when it came to his girls. Information like that was dangerous. As she forced a smile in his direction, he didn’t return it. Just simply nodded his head. ”I suppose you deserve a last few minutes of decency.”

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ Larkin didn't speak when Felix said he was certain her brother would be alright. She knew he was right. Her brother had endured too much to be broken by the loss of the silly hybrid of a sister that he was always trying to protect. Even so she regretted that he would feel pain...he had felt enough in his years as it was.
When Felix said they had a couple days before they reached wherever they were going Larkin nearly sighed with relief. Two days then to steady her nerves. Two days to come to terms with what might-no...what was going to happen to her. Two days to accept that her comfortable life back with the elves and under Ives tutelage was over. She had wanted so badly to be lore keeper and avoided asking Ives until a couple weeks prior. She felt shame that he would be looking for her to appear the next morning to assist him and she wouldn't arrive. But there was little she could do about it. And from how Felix spoke there was little he could do either.
"That's good then. Two days." She forced a smile but didn't turn to him as she struggled against the nervous pressure that rose in her chest. Not as strong as when she was a tiny furred prey animal but still panic and fear all the same. When he went into more detail about where his boss might be Larkin felt her panic rocket up another notch. She looked over to him with wide blue eyes. "You might not be with me then.." She said softly as her gaze skittered away from him and to the path before them. She shouldn't be trying to find comfort in someone who had deceived her. Someone who by capturing her had ruined her life in a matter of minutes. But he was answering her questions and from her take on it he was just as much a victim as she. Being used by someone stronger and more powerful.
His reply to her words of love and intimacy made her stomach ache. Larkin pushed a long ivory strand of hair behind her pointed ear and didn't look at Felix when she replied. "I'm sorry. I cant say I know anything about love or how it would feel to have your child taken but I can only imagine it would be like losing a part of yourself. Maybe someday you can see her again? Maybe the both of them." What must have happened for this woman to run away with this child? Was it is involvement with the 'boss' man she kept hearing about? Or was it something much simpler and colder?
-last few minutes of decency.
It was those words that made her miss a step and stop on the path. Her hand that held his trembling with her desire for freedom but clutching at the warm of his skin for reassurance at the same time. "Felix I-I know I said I wouldn't fight anymore but I just...I just cant-" Her voice broke away and Larkin looked away from him lest she loose her courage to speak. "I don't want to cause you problems and I don't want you hurt but...." She looked back to Felix. Her nearly gray eyes rolling up his frame to linger on his eyes that seemed to perpetually squint with annoyance. "-I don't want to hurt either." Still she clutched this perfect strangers hand. This man that was leading her to slaughter. Because in her mind he was just another victim.
"I-I know I have to go. Can you do what you did earlier? It was easier then. I wasn't so afraid."

TAGGED OUTFIT NOTES LOVELY NOTES WONDERFUL NOTES THAT ROCK MY SOCKS | No undoubtedly he wouldn’t be with her and it made him uncomfortable with that realization. She would be left alone to defend for herself against a boss that would use her purity against her. But he had to remind himself that this wasn’t his problem and that whatever he was feeling would go away the moment she switched hands. She’d be okay. Like most of the girls she had to go through a period of uncertainty and then she would toughen up. Glancing at her a moment blues eyes took her in for a moment more before realizing that was an incredibly stupid thing to think. Larkin would likely get eaten alive.
At that though, he could feel his wolf tremble deep inside at the thought of eating something alive, breathing, and screaming their last. His wolf wouldn’t mind being covered in blood and seeing the last few moments of terror reflecting in someone’s eyes especially someone like Larkin. ”breakable.” the words seemed to echo in his head along with the haunting scratching. He knew he would like to get that poor soul in his jaws and with one snap crack her spine. Brows furrowed as he did his best to slam that gate shut on the wolf again and talk about something else. The mention of love only however brought back some ill feelings. They always said love could withstand and fight against anything but could it really? And if it could why did it fail him?
”I doubt it.” he said. ”Fear keeps people away.” Which was how it should be. He would never forgive himself if he had let his wolf hurt his daughter which he very well could have tried had her mother not been smart enough to sweep her away from her predatory father. She knew that if he could turn her on it would only be a matter of time before it went to their offspring. The thought was painful and Felix didn’t like shedding much light on the fact it got to him so deeply. His daughter was no longer an infant though that much he knew and since she would be a hybrid he wondered what she took on the most. It was a thought he had often wondering if maybe one day he would run into her just by the off chance she would come looking….. but would he know it were her? Would he be able to recognize his own kin?
His mind had been so wrapped up into what he was thinking that the sudden stop shocked him. Blinking a couple of times and looking over his shoulder back at Larkin, he could see the fear resonating in her again. The corners of his lips drew down as he listened to her weak and trembling voice. Very quickly he could see he was losing her. She was so precious and fragile. Once her eyes caught with his he quietly turned around and her question caught him off guard. She wanted him to build the bond again.
A small smile played on his lips and he nodded his head. Stepping in towards her he used his hand and tugged her in towards him, wrapping arms around her slender frame as fingers sprawled out on her lower back. ”Of course.” He whispered in towards her ear. Pressing his energy in from his finger tips and back into her body. He knew it wouldn’t be as strong as the first time he had done it but it would at least cause her panick to subside for now. ”You are safe.” The words even surprised him as he didn’t quite know what he meant by that. Was there a hidden message even he didn’t quite register? ”You can trust me. Okay? We’re just going for a walk..” With that he pulled slightly away from her. ”It’s a nice evening for it. Don’t you think?”

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ She felt sorry for him. Someone who had and lost people he cared for. She had lost her parents of course but she felt like the loss of a child would be on an entirely different plane. She didn't resist when he tugged her closer and practically snuggled into his chest. His hands slipped around her back and pressed into her flesh. "Safe." She repeated and swallowed against the tide of fear that rose in her chest. Her small hands moving to curl into the shirt on each side of his stomach.
She wouldn't be able to pin point the moment when her fear slipped away. This time she was still conscious of who he was. Where she was and where she was going. But the fear didn't eat at her soul like a hungry demon. "I trust you." She all but whispered into the fabric of his shirt. When he pulled back she reluctantly released him. She liked the closeness, the security. Even if it was false.
They were just going for a walk. She knew it wasn't true but the panic didn't surge in her body like an uncontrollable force. She knew what was going to happen but it was almost as if her senses were somewhat dulled to the fear of it. At least for a while. "A walk." She repeated, even knowing it wasn't the truth just because it was something to say when words evaded her. She wasn't eloquent and he had never tried to be. She actually spent the majority of her time in silence leaving those around to to question if she even had the ability to speak.
She took a step back, thinking that he was ready to start walking again. It was only by chance that her pale leg brushed against the thorns on an outstretched limb of a bush. The large thorns raking deep into her flesh and making her jerk back forward so that she bumped against his chest. Wincing she leaned down and brushed her fingers over the back of her calf. Rising back up with her fingers smeared with bright red blood she looked to Felix and bit her lip. Her leg was stinging, the darn bush had gotten her good. "Do you have water? Or a cloth or anything." Her bloody fingers curled into her palm and her unbloodied hand clung to his shirt while she tried to turn to see the extend of the damage.

TAGGED OUTFIT NOTES LOVELY NOTES WONDERFUL NOTES THAT ROCK MY SOCKS | So willing was she to snuggle right into him and for a moment it made his heart beat faster. He hadn’t had contact with a person in so long. The only contact he had been successful in making with someone was harsh. If the girls stepped out of line than he would have to be sure they knew what was acceptable and what wasn’t. of course some were more fearful of him than others. But this here was enough to make his heart skip a beat and to cause him feel a sort of jittery feeling in his soul. He slowly started to release her and look down into her eyes for a moment. She was way calmer now and though the cloud wouldn’t be as effective on her as the first time she could at least keep her fear under wraps. She repeated his words as if testing them out herself and he gave another small smile.
He smelt it before he actually knew what was going on. The wolf started to lurk from its depths. Swallowing hard he did his best to mentally block the wolfs escape and focus on the play at hand. But seeing it. The ruby liquid that now wasn’t only just on her forehead from running into the a branch but now more of it was lingering In the air. Fresh.. deep… red blood. It sent a shiver down his spine and he did his best to not drink in the scent. ”I-I don’t.” his resolve was breaking as he turned from her just to help try and block the sight of it. ”But we can go looking for some. I’m sure we can find some around can you walk okay?” He would give fleeting looks her direction worried she would see the predatory gaze in his eyes starting to lurch forward.

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ Larkin didn't notice the predator lurking. Didn't see the danger that roamed just beneath the surface. But when Felix stammered and said he didn't have anything to help she nodded. "Its not bad, just stings a little." She smiled and nodded that she could walk and tried to brush all the blood from her hand she could against the fabric of her dress. It would likely wash out. If not she would just have to get another one...well..or she might not need one at all.
He turned away and Larkin followed. Hurriedly snatching his hand with her smaller one. She should have hoped to be left behind given what she was moving toward but the lack of fear certainly helped. The scratches on her leg were stinging and itching with each movement. But she was trying her best now to show her discomfort. Even when the small pained wrinkle came to her brow she didn't mention it again. Why would she when there was nothing he could do? She could feel a tickle down her angle as the tiny streak of blood made its way down her leg to leave a tiny little trail of smudges behind her as she walked.
She could have hoped that her wereblood would have made her heal faster but that was actually one of the traits she hadn't inherited. Not that she was overly familiar with her animal side as it was. She tried to hide it as her brother recommended and there were few that would notice that her ears weren't quite as pointy or the way her breathing would quicken over being startled. Some would assume she was just shy or nervous. Others that maybe there was a human somewhere far back in her heritage that made her ears not quite as beautiful. Felix was of a very select few that knew of her other half. She hadn't even told Ives for fear of him retracting her apprenticeship. He was kind to elves but his distrust of other races was well known. So she didn't imagine she would take a hybrid very well...few did.
"Felix." She suddenly spoke as they walked. It was well known that when Larkin did speak her questions could seem odd or even rude. Too personal or strangely worded. Perhaps it was because her people skills weren't the best, or maybe it was just how her mind worked. "Will I be living with this man then? As a wife? Do you think he....he won't want a child will he?"
The whole prospect of motherhood was terrifying to her and she felt she would be woefully inadequate.
