Magical Ability:
Immortals: His right eye glows in the dark allowing him to see within the darkness, but looks wooden during the day or in bright areas making him day-blind out of it.

Appearance:
A tall man who stands at five feet nine inches tall. His skin is pale in color, but normally not that noticeable for he is often dirty, and covered in grime from who knows what. Being tanned from being out at skin also helps him not look so pasty as he used to be. His hair is slightly long, but it is his facial hair that gives his dirty blonde locks a scruffy look to him. His eyes are what most people seem to notice most about him though. His left eye is a charming blue, whereas his right appears wooden, with a pale green iris. It is only like this during the day or in bright areas, within the darkness it glows an eerie blood red. Past that he looks like a normal man. If not a tad too skinny to some, but normal nonetheless. He tends to wear a mix of leathers, and cotton clothing. Nothing too fancy though as he doesn’t like to stick out.

Personality:
A man who has had a hard life. He does what he wants, because he wants to do it. Only taking orders from his captain, or the first mate. He is a tough man to get along with. Often seeing the world half empty. A grump, and a shameless thief. He does very well with a sword, but not with his temper. It is a short temper, that is somewhat of a legend among thieves not something anyone wants to see in person. He can be a more logic seeing man though, but only when someone is around to keep him in check. However, get some rum in him and he isn’t half bad. He can be a charmer, with a goofy side. One who loves to flirt with the ladies, as well as dance and sing very much off key.

History:
Born Amadeus Grieve Aelsus almost two thousand years ago, the man that now goes by Grieves has had a long twisted life. For years it had been rather good, being born to a more noble family. Even so the war took a toll on everyone, and over the years he came to the point where his mind was almost lost. It started with the death of his younger brother a fine boy who was killed within the war within feet of Grieve. His mother blamed him for his brother’s death and would always say he should have taken the arrow for him. His brother Thorryn had always been her favorite child after all. For a long time he felt like she had been right, but it was the love of his eldest sibling, a girl named Angelica that kept him from slipping into a dark place of depression and shame. However, around two hundred years later Angelica went missing, and her husband was found murdered. Angelica was never found, nor was her husband’s killer.
[break][break]
After that his life became a bit of a blur. It was the darkest and bloodiest time of his life as he just made the motions of living while fighting in the war. For the next four hundred years or so this went on until a night when he ran into his sister on the battlefield fighting for the enemy. Surprised and shocked he seemed to snap out of his mindless state, but she was a traitor, his enemy, nor was she backing down in the battle. So as much as it pained him to do he killed her. He had so many questions, and became so confused. His the answers to his questions of course died with her. Or so everyone told him.
[break][break]
When he went home to his family’s estate and told his parents what happened, his father understood, but not his mother. She denied it. Called him a liar, and all but lost her mind in grief of knowing his only daughter was dead. His mother killed herself three weeks later. After that he decided to leave and not return home. Everything seemed to go wrong around him, so he stuck to fighting in the war. Doing his part and trying to make sure he came out of each battle alive. What happened to his father, he doesn’t know.
[break][break]
Once the war ended he roamed around unsure what to do with himself. At one point he completely dropped his first name, just going by Grieve. It was a long time before he even used his last name again. By that time he had became a thief. Stealing jews, and other odds and ends until he joined the crew of an undead pirate. Since then he had been going wherever the wind takes them.

Miscellaneous:
WEAPONS
[break]Longsword. Often found on his person is a longsword he was given by his father all those many years ago.
[break]Daggers. For when he is in a small space were his sword would be less useful. He has two daggers he keeps hidden on his sides. They are simple with nothing really amazing about them. They are just a pair he stole off of someone.
