Ladon turned to him in surprise, attentive as he watched him exit the doors. He didn't know what they were discussing, but the prince seemed defeated. "How did it go?" he asked, moving away from the wall and beginning to walk alongside him. He appeared to be upset, but Ladon did not know what he said to his father. His shoes clicked along the stone ground, echoing through the hallway as they moved. The other guards seemed to be switching their positions, possibly due to the shift as they entered the throne room. Possibly the leader had called for them, as he could continue to hear bickering about Ladon did not look back, but he assumed whatever it was his father sounded furious. Instead he kept his attention upon the sad prince, hoping that he would be alright. He would try to help, but he wouldn't know what to say for he did not know their conversation.

Ladon followed him into the garden, looking at him with concern. Once they reached the spot the guard leaned on a small brick wall, folding his arms over his chest as he looked down at Luhan. When he spoke his eyes widened briefly, although it was no surprise. He had spoken to him before about trying to save all the dragons. To Ladon it was useless. They were a nearly extinct race, a dying one, hidden from most of society. He had forewarned Luhan before that it would end up fruitless, but it was noble of him to still try. Though, his father may be more suspecting of dragons now, though fortunately Ladon was far from his next target. He continued to look down at him, his eyes softening as he spoke. "It's alright," he said soothingly, moving slightly closer to him yet continued to stand. "Though what did you say to him exactly?" he then asked, curious as to how the conversation went. He assumed Luhan did it for him, and as much as he would love to be in his dragon form, over the last hundred years he had already began to try and adapt to this new life. Even if it wasn't what he preferred, if it wasn't for trying to fit in with the other races he wouldn't have met the prince.

He rose a brow as he looked at the prince. Dragons saving his life? Was he mad? Of course his father wouldn't believe such jibber jabber. But perhaps Luhan thought of it on the spot, but before Ladon could respond he was already on the grass patting a spot for him. The guard moved to the spot, sitting down next to him cross-legged. He was about to say something but then Luhan changed the subject. His past? Ladon looked at him as his jaw dropped slightly. Closing back his mouth he replied, "My past?" For a moment he then looked up into the sky as he then thought. Then he looked side to side to see if there was anyone around that could be ease dropping, but so far they had been alone. He then turned to the prince, with a casual sort of expression. "Sure." He wasn't the one to hide his past, it was apart of him as much as being a dragon was. Although his past may not be all that interesting. "Well, where do I begin?" he then asked, looking again into the air absentmindedly. There was really no starting point for him, he had been doing pretty much the same thing millennia after millennia. That was, until dragons began to become hunted down. His attention focused back on the prince. "I hail from the Dark Canyons," he said, his memory taking him back. "As far as I can remember, I had been living next to a river. I had been there ever since I was born I think. But, it was there where I resided. Of course there had been other dragons there as well. As I continued to live I gained somewhat of a reputation for my wisdom. Many would come asking me for advice," he gave a little smile, perhaps out of bashfulness.

"It not only extended to dragons, but then humans and other races as well. They would come visit me by the river, and I would extend almost any advice they needed." Of course, not wasn't always the case. Usually it was those whom he deemed worthy. Nevertheless he continued. "It was so long, probably a few centuries before the treaty dragons were beginning to become hunted down. Of course I can't speak for all dragons. Some had liable cause to be hunted," he then said, now speaking with more seriousness in his tone. "Dragons like to burn down cities, hoarding treasure, killing people. I've even known a few that had." He couldn't excuse himself from it either. Some people laid dead at his feet from time to time, though it was usually because they tried to fight him because he retained information that they desired. "Ever since then dragons have become more and more extinct. Even I had to leave my home." He missed it, the river in the Dark Canyons. Maybe he could take the prince there one day. Although the Dark Canyons were often dangerous for races other than dragons. It may not be pleasant. "Anyway, then that was around the time the treaty was formed of all the races. Then while everyone else was at peace dragons have ever since gone into hiding. Most took a human form, to fit in. I didn't want to, but it got to the point where I had to." But now he didn't regret the decision. Sometimes now he found solace in his human form. "I tried city after city, town after town. I have tried so many jobs, but I failed," he almost laughed. "Being a human was quite difficult for me at first, but now I think I am getting the hang of it." He then moved closer to the prince. "And that it when I met you!" he said, rustling a hand through Luhan's hair playfully.

Ladon looked at him with a small smile. "Thank you, but it won't be necessary," he spoke, declining his offer politely. "I enjoy my current position very much." His grin grew wider until the prince spoke again. It turned into a quizzical look, tilting his head slightly. He preferred to be in his dragon form yes, but he was beginning to become accustomed to human form. He thought he should get used to it by now, as the number of dragons were decreasing and most have assumed human form to blend in. But finding a secret hiding place to transform in seemed... confining. Ladon shook his head. "I appreciate your concern, but I am alright," he said. "I do not mind taking human form. Besides, then I get to interact with you more," he then spoke softly, reaching to delicately hold his chin.

Ladon smiled at the kiss, then looked straight ahead as the prince leaned on his shoulder, his own head leaning on top of it afterwards. Luhan was always so kind, offering whatever Ladon could want despite the failure. Though, the dragon was happy in the here and now, he couldn't be any more grateful to have such a chance. He did not find love as a dragon, and he never expect to in his human form. It was a blessing from the gods he was sure. But then, he heard something come from Luhan. His head rose, looking at him with concern. "Are you alright?" He asked, not knowing what might be wrong. His eyes fell to his stomach where he had placed is hand on it. A stomachache maybe? He wasn't sure.

"Alright," he said with little skepticism, eyes averting to the side. Indeed, perhaps it was just a small stomachache after all. Ladon didn't know what he could do to help. "Hmm," he then said, placing a hand on his stomach to see if he could tell what was wrong. Although he was wise he wasn't a doctor. He did not know the working functions and problems of each individual race. But Luhan said it felt strange though, so Ladon hoped it wasn't some sort of magic or poison or something. If it got worse he thought that Luhan should probably get it checked out. His father should have many good healers at his ready, so that wouldn't be much of a problem. Though, if it had something to do with Ladon then he wouldn't know what to do. For now though, he assumed whatever pain it was is gone. His hand then dropped him his stomach and continued to sit on the grass, adjusting himself slightly. "It seems fine to me. Although if it gets worse I advise you see a healer, they can help you," he told him.
