He was pushed back, looking at him with condescendence. Despite faltering backwards he kept his chin high, looking at him as he took a step forward. "You wish that was true, soldier. It must be even so true that you would resort to pushing me. Oh you must be so jealous," he then sneered. He nearly laughed as he then began to speak again. "Pity me you say? Well that's not what Larkin told me. She asked if I had a relationship with you, she seemed pretty saddened," he said, lies covering up his words as he sought to hurt him. "Unlike you she is so sweet, and kind. She stayed with me while you were away. But now she isn't a barbarian resorting to such violence against me." He was so glad, so glad that he could say these words to him, even though he did not feel anything for her at all. He sought more jealously from his eyes, he wanted to see him angry perhaps.
"You really aren't here much anyway. You only come back for pleasure perhaps. Oh how perverted you are," he then let out a sinister laugh. "Don't fool yourself, so many want to be in the position I have now. You can't even compare to what I have done," he said, leaning forward as his eyes met his with a twisted smile on his face. "You are but just a lowly man that just wants to be with me. You wish I had the same feelings for you in return," he then took a step back, crossing his arms thoughtfully.

Stayed with him? So while he had been away protecting them, fighting a beast that threatened them all Ives had been here shacking up with some little tart? Or did he mean just in the last few days? Not that it really mattered. Either way he had been betrayed and it mattered little in his mind that he had an affair of his own. He had an actual reason, Ives treating him like a blade to be wielded when it suited him. He remembered the big eyed odd girl, she frequented the library often. And for some insane reason he felt the strongest desire to set her little pale ass on fire. See if Ives would like her so much when she looked like a toasted marshmallow.
"I'm the pervert?" He repeated then laughed, shaking his head at the ridiculousness of it. "You were the one throwing yourself at me, 'oh use me for a distraction Rook, please please please'." Rook rolled his eyes and stepped in closer until he was again crowding the smaller elf. "I dont want 'anything' you have Ives. Because I already took what I wanted." He smiled sadistically and leaned in close. His hands falling to the shelving on each side of Ives. "You going to be this time too Ives? I know you want it, you want the lowly man you put down to make yourself feel better. You want me and you hate it."

His sneer matched his, gazing upon him with brave malicious eyes. "Then why do you keep coming back here?" he retorted, taking a step closer just a few inches away from him. "If anything I'd say you're desperate for me," he stopped, face ever so close to his. He continued with the fiendish look in his blue eyes ever so keen on locking into Rook's own. The teeth that shown with the cruel smile never stopped showing. "Maybe you just wish for me to want you," he said, voice low and yet harsh with a tempting hint to it. Perhaps he could even feel the heat emitting from his face, the very breath perhaps as his face closed in ever so near. "Want me to hate you. But oh how I bet that you will bore me," he said eyes narrowed alluringly as his lips grew so close. "I think she could do a better job than you do," he whispered, although his voice was so clear. His hands suddenly came seemingly from out of nowhere, aiming to grab him by the collar and pulling him forward roughly, aiming to have their lips locked within a messy kiss. Ives would kiss roughly, even going for biting on his lips. Perhaps it was passion. Perhaps it was hatred. Maybe it was a mixture of both. His face pushed forward, not wanting to break it off in exchange for breath. He wanted to keep going. Although, why? Why was it that he was doing this? When obviously he had so said that Larkin could do better. Maybe it was a test. Maybe it was his innate desire. Maybe somewhere within the innocent, good version of Ives wanted to break free. Or maybe under the effects of the corruption, he was giving in to his inner desires. But, now he wanted just more than what they have done before. He wanted something exciting. He wanted a challenge.
He then wrapped his arms around his neck, taking more steps forward in hopes to bring themselves both down onto a nearby desk. Though he expected much of a fight, a battle for control and dominance. Even still he wished for it, he wanted to fight. Perhaps it was symbolic of his inner fight with Rook, no, with himself. With the whole situation. The once so innocent and naive Lore Keeper was now grasping for control, aiming to push Rook to keep him pinned down onto the table. Though it would most likely not last long, if at all. He laughed hoarsely.
"Yes, she would be much better," he said tauntingly. "Who knows, maybe she's even stronger than you are."

The kiss surprised him and the spiteful man's first instinct was to pull away. A low growl rose in his throat, his body stiffening as if repulsed. But all at once he surrendered. Crushing himself against Ives with enough ferocity to gnash skin against teeth. His body responding to the man he cared for even when his mind was not his own. He stumbled back when Ives pushed him. Surprise evident in his features. But it was the taunt about the little homely girl that made Rook smirk. Jerking one side of his hips upward and rocking to the side to attempt to change their position. He laughed darkly, forgetting completely that they even had an audience.
"I'll make you forget that little owl's name." His teeth would graze the skin of the pale man's neck. One hand falling to Ives hip to hold him firmly against the table as Rook roughly took control. His free hand pulling at Ives shirt, popping buttons and ripping the delicate fabric.

Siofra watched as the two angered men conversed with each other with fury, then it took an interesting turn. How very intriguing. Before her eyes she was witnessing the Lore Keeper having an affair with a mere soldier. From their conversation she found that they had apparently had done so before. Oh the scandal. What quite precious piece of information she had found just from deciding to corrupt the two. She could have done far worse things but in the end she had wound up making the right decision. With a smirk on her face she stood, not willing to stick around to see their acts but to indeed be on her way. She could leave the two here awhile, to let them do such acts while the library was supposedly open. The doors would be open of course, but the corruption would continue to last until around the next day, she assumed. She could keep them to herself, continuing to corrupt and make them destroy everything they loved until there was nothing left but hollow husks. Oh, but that would not be as fun. When she stood from the chair her men did so as well, silently abiding by her orders. But Ives and Rook would not, as they were occupied at the moment. She would let them be. Perhaps they would even kill each other while doing so. With a delicate look over her shoulder the lady turned around, heading toward the two grand doors with her men. "Let us go," she whispered, a command only for them to hear. A smirk laid on her face as evil brown eyes gazed back, scheming her plan. This, this would be good information. The Lore Keeper would not know it, but she now had the information that could indeed be able to control him. To use him according to her own will. Blackmail.
The petite Almoner took dainty steps as she walked lightly toward the doors, one of the men holding it open for her like a gentleman. It was to be expected, and she was followed by the rest like ducklings as they exited outside. The man that held it open moved to close it. "There's no need," she smiled, tilting her head before continuing on her way. The man abode by her command, leaving the door slightly ajar from where he had left it. As she walked she could hear the faint sounds of moans coming from the library, most notably the Lore Keeper's. Yes, Ives. Soon, when she would need him, he would serve her again. She thought in determination as she continued, disappearing into the forest.
Ives was helpless, the much larger man getting on top of him and had already begun to undress him. The elf tried to fight for dominance still, hands pushing at his chest before trying to get his own clothes off, trying to pull at his collar. But as Rook was more stronger and powerful, as his fine fabric was torn off of him, his hands slumped in defeat.
