Magical Ability:
Siofra has an ability of the element of spirit, corruption and purification. She can use the power at will, choosing either to corrupt or to purify. It can be used on nature, people, or creatures, but in order to use it she must have physical contact first. The longer she holds and the longer she concentrates, the longer it will last or the more effectiveness it will have. It will wear off over time, such as a day or two. The effectiveness depends on how much potential they have already. For example, someone that hold deep anger and hatred has a chance of being more corrupted than that of someone who holds hardly any ill will in them, and vise versa. It is also very hard to maintain the corruption or purification of many people or in a large area, as the power does drain energy from her each time she does so.

How the power works when it is in effect, one could say it makes them more evil or more good, however, it is slightly different than that. Corruption takes advantages of the darkness within them already, and makes it spread. Meanwhile, purification could have slight healing properties, and could have a chance to cure curses, spreading the light within. Some might say that it is an element of nature, as it indeed has a spirit of its own.

Siofra’s parents had powers of the spirit as well, but her grandfather on her mother’s side had powers of corruption. It is somewhere down that same line that the powers of purification might have been present. It is somewhat odd that she inherited a mixture of both.

Appearance:
Siofra is quite the petite elf, a sweet, gentle looking girl. She is far older than she looks, despite her childlike appearance. With chocolate brown eyes, white hair, and pale skin, truly she looks ethereal, almost the epitome of purity itself. One might mistake her for a fairy without wings due to her stature and youthful appearance. She has a delicate demeanor about her, and she is quite angelic seemingly. Her face even appears to have sparkles upon her skin, shining in the sun. Siofra often wears white dresses to match, modest ones that keep her appearance innocent. She will sometimes wear a small plant in her hair as an accessory. She takes great care not to dirty herself and puts much effort into her appearance. The elf stands out, looking like a ray of light among the darkness.

Personality:
Siofra acts as a caring, gentle, kind lady, almost with a childlike appearance and seemingly brimming with light. She often travels into the poorest areas of the Dryhtwood Forest, helping by purifying places that have been polluted, helping crops grow, healing others, and giving money to the poor. She is polite, and very nice. However, that is only on the surface level. Beneath her fake exterior, she is wicked, vile, and cruel. She would do almost anything to make it to the top, corrupting innocents to turn themselves against each other, sleeping with those in high positions, manipulating people, and disposing those that wish to rid of her, or have negative opinions about her. She cares for no one but herself, and anyone she appears to be caring towards is only a mere tool. She wishes to corrupt the entire world, but cannot do so as her powers are limited. Therefore she desires power, and is currently seeking a way for her powers to do so. After all, she considers people to be already corrupted anyway, but they only need a little bit of magic to show it.

History:
Siofra was born to two elves in the Dryhtwood Forest. Her parents were both participants of the war, however, so their time together was short. She spent little time with them as a child, and her parents were only aware of the purification powers that she held, hoping that one day she might make a good healer. That was only as far they knew, as she had a tendency to affect plants with her touch only in good ways. However, unseen to them there was a darker touch. One that she hid from them in fear of their disappointment. But as the war continued on, they both feared for her safety. They tried to send her to the Aelfmenn Kingdom in hopes that she may reach safety. But, the little girl got lost on her way.

She was confused on where to go. The orphanage perhaps? No, she was searching for family. And it was family she found. She encountered an old man, isolated from society. It was her grandfather, who was feared and ostracized for his magic of spiritual corruption. Locked away in his cell, he was. He was fortunate to have such a kind granddaughter that felt pity for the man. She kept him company, staying with him and making sure he stayed fed. Although his magic was that of a dark nature, he was a kind man. Though he did not know that his own magic had corrupted him. He raised her like a daughter, and once he discovered her magic, both sides of it, he was able to teach her how to harness it. Siofra had trouble at first, as plants that she touched would often become slightly corrupted or purified without her noticing, but eventually she was able to control it. As she grew somewhat older she had wondered how to release him from his prison. But he refused, saying that he should succumb to his fate.

He taught her about the world, he taught her about the nature of her magic. He taught her about all of the elements, and how they were important to the world. But most of all, he taught her about the war. Once he was a deadly weapon, used for the war but eventually he was sealed away once his own corruption began to spread amongst his own and eventually himself. His power was out of control, but hers, she had the ability to neutralize it with her powers of purification. He was then locked away, not even his own daughter had known. She had assumed that he was dead. Why he was not killed however, was because no elf dared touch the man. So instead they left them there until the day he died. He couldn’t have gone to any other race either, as it would just be the same.

Siofra had grown older, and when she reached adulthood the war had already ended. She now had to decide what she wanted to do in life, and her grandfather, now corrupted by his magic, told her that there would be no real peace without war, conflict, and disparity. Such an ideal would lead to an end. There would be no change, no hope, just nothingness. After his last words, he had died. Siofra, angered by his mistreatment and took heed to his dying words, sought to do just that. She would make sure that this false peace did not last. After all, fighting for this peace they just used him and let him die like that? She would make sure that they would pay. Each and every one of them. She would be the necessary evil in this peace that the world needs.

Siofra then joined the authorities, using her kind, gentle nature as an act. Her powers for purification made her well liked among the people, using her powers as necessary. However, behind the curtain was an evil woman. She often manipulated others, and used her corruption magic to make it easier. Eventually she got into a noble position, and became the Almoner. She made sure money was given to the poor, strengthening her reputation greatly. She is known as a kind, giving woman to the public, and those that thought any different of her, she would make sure that they were… taken care of.

Miscellaneous:
