Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ Felix had been gone over a week now. And still she waited. He had told her that they just needed to wait for the boss to forget about her. To believe that she was gone or dead. But she had worried that he would be harmed like he had hinted at before. But she had selfishly remained at the run down old cabin. Letting her own fear take precedent. Given that food wasn’t readily available here and Larkin wasn’t brave enough to venture deep into the forest alone in search of berries and mushrooms she was spending the majority of her time as a rabbit and eating grass and clover. She remained close to the cabin however and kept a watchful eye out for the attack rat that had left quite the wound on her neck. It was mostly healed now but would undoubtedly leave a large scar on her pale skin. Not that it really mattered to her, it would be covered by her long hair anyway. With her clothes hanging from a hook on the cabin door that was open in case she needed a quick escape Larkin nibbled on a purple flower. Her little white nose twitching this way and that as she chewed. Short little ears perked atop her round skull as she listened for predators. Suddenly the sound of someone walking reached her ears and Larkin froze with a bit of purple flower still staining her lips. ”Felix?” She said telepathically, unable to hide her nervousness. [attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]hybrid[break] The words that slithered out of the opposing man’s mouth caused the hairs on the back of his neck to bristle. ”We know you are hiding her. It’s only a matter of time until we find her.” there was another kick to the face before the couple of gentlemen walked of talking amongst themselves and snickering. The wolf paced in anticipation awaiting his turn to break free. He was going to. He was going to tear both of them a new asshole. Growling quietly he gathered himself up a bit into a sit and touched his nose that was caked in blood. It stung. Fingers trembled a bit as he dabbed at it and his lip looking down at the ruby tints that stained the skin. He knew it was only a matter of time before his secret of Larkin would be out… at least… if he wasn’t clover enough to cover his tracks and double track and retrack. Or maybe he could take her to his fathers? No one would dare to go there….. but then again he wouldn’t be there enough to ensure her safety. He didn’t trust him in the least bit.[break] He winced when he moved leaning his head back a bit. Speaking of Larkin he needed to check in with her. He did his best to keep her sustained out there but he wasn’t the greatest at it. He was a terrible jailer. Holding his ribs he pulled himself up into a stand and staggered a little before starting off in the direction he had originally been going. The boss was less than pleased to know he had lost the girl he specifically asked for even went as far as ‘I expected better of you’. Somehow that stung a little. Almost like a father would be scolding a son except his own father couldn’t have the type of effect on him. Never in a million years would he let Farkas get in under his skin like that.[break]
It took a while as he was double checking to be sure he wasn’t being followed before he could see the house in the clearing. Blue eyes narrowed a bit as he trudged in closer hearing the soft call of Larkin. ”Yeah, it’s me.” he said with a hoarse voice. ”I’m sorry I have been gone so long.” he moved towards the porch and sat down on the stairs. He looked towards the little white bunny. ”Also sorry I suck at keeping food in the house.” He was breathing through his nose and the pain was getting his wolf still worked up. He didn’t do well with pain and never had. It was what made him want to fight back. ”Are you doing okay?” he questioned ignoring the shoving his wolf was doing or at least trying to.

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ She perked up at the sound of his voice. Standing up on her tiny back legs and looking up at him as he approached. His voice sounded...off. And as he drew nearer she could see why. He looked like he had taken one hell of a beating and drying crimson was bright against his skin. Guilt sank deep into her gut and she followed him to the steps. Hopping several times to make up for one of his long strides. When he sat down she immediately jumped up onto the step beside him. A single white paw lain on his thigh as she stared up at him with pinned ears.
She should have refused. He wouldn't be in this condition if she had refused, if she had quit pestering him about how afraid she was. "Don't apologize, Felix. And I'm fine." Nudging his arm with her nose she wriggled up onto his lap and curled against his stomach. Blue eyes closing partially as her conflicting thoughts fought for control of her voice. "You should let him have me." Came her soft voice. "It isn't fair for you to go through all of this for me."
She trembled at the thought of what she was telling him to do. But she couldn't live with herself knowing that someone was being hurt because of her. That she could prevent it. And it being Felix somehow made it worse. Seeing the blood on his face and the puffy bruising skin made her want to turn away. But she didn't, because she had caused it.
She pulled back so that she was sitting on her haunches. A single large blue eye peering up at him since her head was turned slightly to the side. Prey animal and all her eyes were rather far set. Her tiny ivory ears rose from where they were plastered against her neck just a little. Hesitant. "Will you take me to him?"

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]She leaped onto his lap and he let her, gazing down at her with tender blue eyes as she said he shouldn’t apologize. ”No, I should. You have no one for a week no real way to food and I haven’t provided it. I’m selfishly making you suffer and I am sorry. My intention is to keep you safe not more harm.” He rubbed at his face feeling like his eyes were changing from blue to yellow and was doing his best to keep his human self-aware of his surroundings. He couldn’t dose of. He couldn’t let the wolf seep to the surface but his human body and mind was so weary. [break] ”Don’t be stupid.” he said to her as she spoke about just letting her go to him and how the boss would no longer hurt her. ”I bring you now it wouldn’t matter. I would still be dealt with for hiding you in the first place. I made a commitment might as well carry through to the end.” His boss wouldn’t go easy on him just because he came clean. If anything he would probably lose his place and possibly taken off field duty which sounded nice if that also didn’t mean death or something. He wouldn’t see the light of day. He knew too much to simply be let go and no locked up somewhere if he wasn’t put to death. He was after all the boss’s right hand…. Or close to it. Still she pestered him about taking her asking as gently as Larkin knew how. He sighed quietly and shook his head. ”stay with me? Please?” his voice was soft and tender though he was only speaking such a way to get her mind off of going on a suicide journey. He lift his fingers and rubbed gently on her furry cheek giving her a small smile. ”I see your wound is looking better. I don’t know much about wounds like a doctor would but I think I did okay.” He was changing the subject and trying to keep himself alert enough to keep the wolf at bay but the more he rubbed her furry cheek the closer his fingers moved toward her neck and un-purposely got a little rougher almost gripping her neck with his fingers.[break] Once he realized what he was doing his brows furrowed a bit and he picked the rabbit up to put her off his lap but he paused staring at her. ”So easy it would be to break in this form. So vulnerable.” For a brief moment it was like he was gone and zoned but giving his head a small shake and back to reality he put her gently down beside him. ”Clover all you had?”

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ "You did keep me safe." She argued softly. Leaning into his touch if she had been a cat she would have purred. As it was her blue eye just closed only to snap open when he called her stupid. Her ears that had just been starting to rise pressed down again. She was about to argue the point, that maybe he could say he caught her after she escaped or something. But then he ask her to stay with him and her resolve to argue crumbled. Her nose twitched and a small incline of her head was her way of saying she wouldn't argue with him anymore. At least not right now.
"I will." The fingers that stroked her furry cheek moved toward her wound but Larkin paid it little mind. She trusted him. His fingers curling around her neck also did little to raise her suspicion. "Yea its healing well. I'm surprised by how fast." Suddenly he lifted her and sat her own the ground. Larkin took a couple small hops and shook herself off. Her white fur fluffing and tongue slipping from her tiny maw to lick one of her feet before she raked it over her head. Being a bright white rabbit was hard when you were on the ground all the time.
"I've eaten a little of a few different things. The clover flowers are actually good. Truly I'm alright." She would have smiled but given her form her small head just quirked to the side and one ear popped upright. "But is there anything I can do to help you? Maybe clean the blood from your nose?" With that thought still in mind Larkin turned and hopped back up the steps to go inside the aging cabin. Once inside she shifted and reached an arm out to snatch her clothing from the door. With the white or at least once upon a time white dress resting over her skin Larkin made her way back outside. A small cloth she had found a few days ago folded in her hand. She stopped to dip it in a wooden barrel that she had used to catch the last couple days of rain and then walked over to Felix.
"I wish I could help more. It really is something I should read up on." With the damp cloth in hand she would cup his face with one hand and gently wipe at the dried blood with the other. Her touch feather light as she tried not to cause him any more pain than she already had.

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]He wasn’t trying to let the wolf escape but he was edging nearer and nearer and it was making him uncomfortable. If there was any person in the world he didn’t want him to get it was sweet little Larkin. She then moved allowing him to keep her off of his lap and spoke about her wound healing extremely fast. ”You are part werebeast. We may not heal as fast as others but we still heal quickly.” For him it felt like ages but he would be fine as long as he doesn’t re-open it of course. [break] She soon was hoping off and went inside which he assumed she was shifting back into her human form. Once she stepped back out and was ready to wipe the blood from his nose, he didn’t pick up a fuss. He sat there contently letting her do what she wanted. After all who was he to complain about some attention? ”I could get you some books if it will help occupy you?” he said absently. Eyes closing for a moment at a small sting at his nose before quietly opening them again, blue eyes caught into her. ”Shouldn’t be that hard to get.”[break] It was odd he had never noticed it before but her eyes were an incredible blue and the way they seemed to shine even brighter against her soft ivory skin. Blonde hair framing her face and lips---…. He blinked a couple of times. ”Any one ever tell you, you have very beautiful eyes?” he questioned as he drew his eyes up from her lips and now back to her eyes. It was then he lift a hand and brushed softly along her jaw. ”And soft skin… so soft I wonder….” he trailed off in thought his mind was whirling. Were these his thoughts? In a breaths moment he leaned a little closer to her his nose inches from the side of where her jaw and neck were. Quietly he breathed in. ”hmmm….”

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ "I guess. I've never really been hurt badly before." She knew so little about her werebeast side. Since she had been with Felix she had been in rabbit form more than her entire life. She couldn't hide her excitement at the thought of having something to read. She had been such a bookworm before it hadn't been easy to settle into not having anything and water and mildew had ruined the one book that had been inside the cabin. "Really? That would be wonderful. As long as it doesn't put you out." She dabbed gently at the blood on his face. Pulling back the cloth and shifting it so that a clean part could wipe whenever too much blood soaked into the fabric.
At the mention of her eyes Larkin looked up to meet his briefly before her attention returned to his bloodied nose. "One person did. Most people like to say I look like an owl." Her words were said without emotion. She wasn't really self conscious about her large eyes, it wasn't as if it were a feature that could be changed. She was surprised when his hand brushed her jaw line. Skirting the skin there as he made a comment about her soft skin. She stopped wiping at his face then and watched him curiously. Unsure how to react. But then he leaned closer and Larkin froze. Her heartbeat picking up a notch as his lips drew closer to her skin. For a moment it appeared she wasn't going to react at all until there was the ever so slight and purposeful tilt of her head to bare her neck to him.
It was hard and her instincts were screaming at her to stop. To cover that weakness. Swallowing hard she ignored it and waited to see what was going to happen. She was playing with fire without truly even knowing it. She licked her lips and held her breath. Blue eyes closing in complete submission to whatever was about to play out.

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]He could see it as to why they thought owl. She had very large eyes but the way she spoke seemed nonchalant. ”I just think they are very expressive.” it was true at least in his opinion. ”Also means you can’t hide anything from me.” he teased softly. Of course though he knew he would get her some books whether she wanted them or not. It was better than sitting here in her lonesome with nothing to do. If It could stop this guilty feeling her had in his gut then he would be fine with doing it for her.[break] Of course when she started wiping away at the blood it was almost like he went into a trance. He could hear himself saying things, feel himself doing things he knew he shouldn’t, and yet couldn’t pull himself out of it. Was it the wolf? Perhaps. Or maybe it was the kick to the face that really got his rocks all sorts of messed up. He wasn’t sure but he knew one thing right now and that was the intoxicating smell of Larkin. Her head tipped almost offering him her neck and though lips twitched wanting to take a bite. He resisted the urge. The prey wasn’t knowingly offering up herself… was she? She wasn’t telling him to just end there? The power trip was enough of course to get his heart racing with anticipation and quietly he did the best thing he could do with both satisfying the urge but keeping it at bay. He nuzzled her neck gently with the side of his nose and almost gave a wolf sort of growl that sounded like purring. But it wasn’t enough. It was barely enough. His fangs were wanting to scrape against soft skin and nick it just enough to get a small bead of blood. His lips were now pressing in to her neck with a gentle brushes before those turned to nips and then the nips turning into soft scrape of his teeth. It wasn’t enough to get the blood like he wanted but badly he wanted to. ”Are you scared?” he questioned. He knew he was testing waters doing things she hadn’t experienced and yet she was so forthcoming to him. Her pulse beckoned him, beating just beneath her skin. He could smell it, feel it, see it.[break]
”Because you should be….”

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ The brush of his face against her neck made her breath catch and her hands that had held the cloth suddenly dropped it. Her fingers moving to grip the fabric of his shirt. She forced herself to keep her head angled away so that he could have free access to her throat. Even as her heart thrummed harshly in her chest, the large vein that ran just beneath her porcelain skin practically twitching as blood was forced through it. His lips brushed her neck then and Larkin sighed as a heat rushed through her body. Her hands gripped tighter when he nipped her skin. Breath shaking as it emerged when his teeth scraped over her skin.
"Felix..." She said softly. Her voice pleading although what for could be left to interpretation. And then he ask a strange question. One that didn't sound like the man she was used to. The man that had turned her away once before. The one who hid her in the woods so she wouldn't be harmed while taking the beatings himself. "I am." She said in one breath. He said then that she should be and Larkin's eyes opened. Turning her head she met his lips with her own but then broke away. Tilting her head so that his lips would touch her forehead.
Slowly as if to not hurt him she climbed back into his lap. Much larger now that she wasn't a tiny little dwarf rabbit although she was still a very petite woman. Her arms crept around his torso so that she could wriggle in close and lay her cheek against his collar bone. "I'm sorry....I am afraid." She said softly while her fingers toyed with the fabric of his shirt. "But I trust you."
She shifted and stretched upward so that her lips could just graze his throat. Her blue eyes wide open and curious to see his reaction, if it was anything like her own had been.

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]It was strange how his hearing was almost picking up the squeezing sound of the blood forcing its way through her veins. The sound made it more appealing as he knew her little rabbit heart was panicking. She yielded herself to him, cautiously opening up and revealing the most sensitive part of her anatomy. The neck was the very vital access of ending everything. One wrong move and it was over.[break] He wanted to get to it. This was no longer lingering on a sexual appetite this was becoming rapidly more sinister causing his psyche to dip into darker and more dangerous regions. The thought of hurting her, actually hurting her, worried him and yet thrilled him. He loved the power trip he was getting. How limp she seemed to fall right beneath his touch and yet at the same time as excited as he was though hers may entirely be up for a debatably different reason. No less he was feeding off of her energy as it encouraged him to keep going and push just a little further and diver down a little deeper. Would his little rabbit start to fear him?[break] The way she whimpered his name got his blood rushing in his ears and a surge of power made the wolf push to the surface with ease. Blue eyes starting to mix with a dangerous shade of yellow but he didn’t let them completely overtake them. Mouth watered just from that soft pleading voice she used. ”Hm.” the sound was very forced as he was too concentrated on her body, his body, the electricity that seemed to be pulsating like a stereo bass. The thumping was loud. The wolfs anticipation was strong and jittery.[break] The human didn’t want to push but the wolf insisted he wanted to. The wolf insisted this was what they both wanted and now that the human was this far this was no turning back. They were passed that point. This was it and the human side was beginning to believe it. He was losing his steady control; the very methodical process of keeping the wolf at bay was breaking. She moved into his lap sitting on him side saddle as she rubbed quietly into his collar bone. The blood was still rushing in his ears, the ringing making her quiet voice even more muffled. The yellow shade in his eyes was beginning to gain the upper hand, the wolf steadily taking the driver’s seat. She whispered she was afraid but that she trusted him and soon started to let her lips ghost along his throat. A soft wolfish purr rumbled deep in his chest and throat. He only tipped his head slightly, fingers digging a little into her hips as he ducked his head a bit to catch her lips with his in a forceful yet gentle manner. He shifted a little to where she was now sitting on the stair and he moved to be in front of her. Another soft growl was given as he watched her. ”Why would a rabbit trust a wolf…. When the wolf could so easily turn on the rabbit?” he asked curiously. Blue still lingered with yellow but it was quickly starting to lose the battle. No less the wolf hadn’t made a move yet to rip the rabbit a new one… not yet. ”Seems foolish.” he said quietly before leaning in again pressing his lips into hers gently before turning a little hungrier. Pulling back slightly before nibbling again just a little lower than her lip. ”Unwise…” once more he trailed to her jaw. ”Asinine.” And soon nibbles made their way back to her neck where he nudged her backwards. If she complied he would get her on her back, if she refused he would still make a pursuit in putting his weight in on her either forcing her backwards or she would have to move away.[break] ”And yet the prey seems to be as intoxicated by the pleasure as much as the predator.”
”Because you should be….”

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ His lips seized her own and Larkin tipped her head back to accept the kiss. Her head was spinning and her body humming with excitement. The feel of his fingers digging into her skin made her whimper, not finding pleasure in the pain as some might. But then he was moving her. Easily lifting her and sitting her on the step beside him. Her lips parted to ask if she had done something wrong. If she had offended him in some way. But before she could formulate speech he was crouching before her. ”Wolf?” She echoed him, her bright blue eyes searching his own that now instead of a soft clear blue were being invaded by gold.
He had said he was a hybrid just as she was…was he also a werebeast like her? A wolf? Perhaps that was why he had refused to come inside after her injury. The blood…maybe it triggered his inner predator. His insults that followed made her wonder what he was thinking. He seemed….different. ”Maybe…but I trust you not to hurt me.” She argued weakly. And then he was pushing her back. His weight forcing her back against the steps above her in a painful manner. She winced, her body tightening at the uncomfortable position.
His next statement sounded so…teasing. Like a beast circling its prey. She began to wonder if she had made a mistake…if something was happening to Felix to make him act so strangely. To make his eyes change to that golden tone. ”Felix, your hurting me.” She said in a shaky tone. Pushing up against him with her palms although not at her full strength. Just enough to let him see that she wanted up. That she didn’t want to play this game any longer.
”Is something wrong? You’re not yourself…”

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]Something seemed to finally click in her head that perhaps toying with the wolf wasn’t a good idea. The sad thing about it was, she was closing in almost too late. She argued that she trusted he wouldn’t hurt her and yet he was attempting. Pushing his weight in on her before she realized too soon what was happening before she could escape his grasp yet again. The little rabbit was quicker than he was that was for sure and he wanted to tantalize her just enough to be sure she didn’t escape. However the puzzle was clicking into place and before he knew it she caught on. The wolf snarled as it kept pushing the blue out of the way, the human had to retreat but for the sake of Larkin he wasn’t wanting to. He fought harder than usual even If he had a blow to the face some time earlier.[break] She pushed against him as if stating she wanted up but he wouldn’t dare do such a silly thing like that. Her tone shook like a leaf would in a wind storm and a small malevolent smile crept on his face. ”That’s my intention, dear.” he crooned. ”No one said it was going to feel pleasant.” it was right then he went to lean and bite her attempting to snatch up that delicious fluid that coursed through her veins.[break] Right when teeth touched skin and he went to bite down he immediately pulled away and moved from her. A startling blue now replacing golden though flecks of it still remained evident in his eyes. Her words were clear that he was about to do something wrong and for a moment he just sat there. He had to refocus himself and calm back down. Clear the fog from his head. Breathing through his nose it took him a few moments before trusting himself to reply to her. ”I just need a moment.” he said quietly. The thrumming in his head was loud as the wolf hammered to regain control but he refused to let him resurface. He would not allow him to hurt Larkin If there was anyone in this world who couldn’t handle his wolf it was her. ”I--…. I have a sinister beast living in me and sometimes he gets the better of me in situations.” he said finally opening his eyes to look at her. The gold was still visibly there. ”I guess you could say he’s my ‘alternate’ personality.” He rubbed the top of his head knowing she was probably confused by the whole matter how something so invigorating and exciting could turn so deadly so fast. ”Unlike some hybrids I am a little unstable. I don’t…. have control over him or know how to keep him locked away. I have tried but when I’m weakened mentally or physically… smell blood… he forces his way out. I didn’t want you to meet him that way.” he scrunched his nose and then looked down at his fingers. It was hard keeping any type of relationship when sometimes he felt like all he wanted to do was destroy them. ”I’m not such a good person after all. Hm.”

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ ”That’s my intention, dear.” Larkin stared at him wide eyed, certain she had misunderstood. ”No one said it was going to feel pleasant.” This wasn't Felix...this wasn't the man that had stashed her away in the forest so that another man couldn't harm her. No...something was very wrong here. Her heart hammered viciously in her chest while she stared up at him. Not knowing what to do, how to bring the man that protected her back and how to push this scary one away. And then suddenly he lunged in. Larkin yelped and tensed her eyes closing, preparing for the feel of his teeth as they tore into her flesh. But then he was gone, the weight of him was gone.
Her eyes snapped open to see him a few feet away and Larkin hurriedly scrambled to her feet. Her hand rubbing over her neck as if she could still feel the ghost of what had nearly happened. "Felix?" She inquired softly when he didn't speak although she didn't move closer. He said he needed a moment and she nodded and waited. Her palm pressing against her neck where she could still feel her heart hammering blood through her veins. And then he started to speak. To say she was surprised would have been an understatement.
She stared at him in silence after he finished speaking but slowly she shook her head. Her whispy ivory hair falling across her face. "No. You are." Daringly she took a step closer to him. Then another until she was standing before him and peering up at him with a surprisingly calm look on her face. "Because you stopped him." One of her thin shoulders rose in a half shrug. "I couldn't have stopped him. But you did. That's all that matters." A tentative smile came to her lips and her head tipped to the side curiously. "I've heard of some having trouble controlling their animal side...I guess I'm lucky I'm a rabbit."
She reached out suddenly to take his hand. Not making any suggestive movements toward him now. "If I caused it I'm sorry. I'll try not to do whatever I did again." She suddenly released him and stepped back. Dusting off her very worn dress from the dirt that had smeared it while on the steps. "Will it be a long time until I can return home?" She ask while busying herself with plucking bits of dead grass from her dress. The earlier almost traumatic events already wiped from her mind. She never was one to linger on things. Not when she could help it.

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]Larkin hadn’t come as close of a call as Lucia had but it was still plainly evident that his wolf had no intention of keeping either of the two ladies alive. Giving the chance he would take them out, destroy everything there was about them and leave Felix with nothing but an evading memory. [break] Her words didn’t surprise him as much as they should have mostly because Eriu had said the same thing. ”You are a good person and your wolf can’t change that.” Maybe he couldn’t but he sure had a strong hold on his morale that made him feel awful. ”I don’t always.” he said looking at her. ”And sometimes I don’t want to.” There had been times the wolf had taken over that Felix didn’t even put up a fight with him. He wanted the same thing. He wanted to hurt that other person….. Part of him wanted to hurt Eriu and their daughter. It wasn’t always but at times he wondered if it would be best to concede to the real him. The wolf was the real one, right? She stood and moved in closer to him. The fear no longer reflected in her eyes even after how close he had been to nearly ripping her throat out. Instead there was a positive shine in them. He sincerely hoped he could never extinguish such a beautiful glow.[break] He remained quiet as she spoke about others too sometimes having a problem and he supposed she was right but he and his wolf felt like two separate entities. They both wanted different things. His wolf, he felt, was evil at heart. She reached for his hand and held it and for a moment he felt calm and peaceful glad she wasn’t holding it against him or really showing fear. It was a nice. ”I’m impressed by your ability of bouncing back.” He grinned quietly. ”I appreciate it.” To not be reminded of the fear he could evoke in a person especially when he had absolute no control over the matter. She spoke saying it was she who had caused the wolf to arise and he shook his head. ”Wasn’t you.” ]With that he pushed himself up into a stand and before she could let him go, he tugged her towards him bending down to rest his forehead against her own. ”I should have stayed away after getting jumped. Just weakened the barrier is all. You didn’t do a thing wrong.” [break] It was just over excitement and of course the nice blow to the face made his world turn upside down for a moment. He pulled back and kissed her forehead before letting her go when she released him. Her question made him tip his head a moment before glancing out towards the woods. ”Shouldn’t be… too long I guess.” he said. ”The scouts where you come from should be headed back within the next few weeks. I could probably take you back then.” Part of him didn’t want to. He wanted to keep her there so she could be his escape but of course… that was selfish. He couldn’t force her to exchange one jail to be placed in another. ”You ready to go back?” he asked her looking at her for a moment. ”I promise I won’t keep you here for much longer.” He leaned a little backwards against the railing of the porch using his hands to support him from behind. ”You wanna go get some real food?”

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ Larkin leaned into his touch. Having completely brushed her earlier fear from her mind. When he ask if she was ready to go home she hesitated but then smiled. "I don't think its right to make my brother and Ives worry for me when I'm in good health." She enjoyed her time with him, getting to know him. But the majority of the time she was still stuck here alone. And her brother was bound to be a mess by now. Ives? Hopefully he hadn't replaced her and started training someone else.
"Food?" She repeated and perked up. Obviously excited by the idea. "Where would we get food?" She ask curiously. They were in the middle of the woods it wasn't as if they could just pick up something from a nearby cart of vendor. "I could go for some food though." And tea how long had it been since she had drank a good delicious tea. She practically bounded to his side to again link her fingers with his. Something that the man was probably getting accustomed to by now. She sought security in his touch even moments after it had nearly killed her.
"I don't want to put you out any..."
