| N ight, it was the only time she was truly alone. With her own little room now vacant of all the customers that had visited during the day. She could still smell them on her pillows, feel their hands on her skin, taste their lips against hers. But on this night sleep didn’t come easily to the tired leopard. She found her mind restless with memories and thoughts she didn’t focus on. Things that she pushed down and away, into the dark recesses of her mind. Lying on her back she held her hands up so that the light of the full moon could dance through the window and through her fingers. Casting large shadows on the far wall. She twisted her fingers into various shaped her mother had taught her when she was but a child. Not that she was very old now, although she felt aged well beyond her years. The two years since she had been captured by Felix and brought here had been long and monotonous. At first it had been horrible, torture even. But now she was able to shut off that side of herself when it came to intimacy. It was just a job… nothing more.In the light of the moon as her fingers flexed the small ring around her thumb glimmered. She never wore it during the day, keeping it hidden. Often tied or braided deep within her silver mane of hair. But of a night she didn’t have to fear it being taken or someone tattling that she had kept something worth coin secret from the boss. She brought her hands down against her chest and idly spun the ring around her thumb as she remembered the pale woman who had given it to her. No…given wasn’t the right word. Paid. That was what it had been, a payment. An over payment. But a payment for services none the less. With a tired sigh she climbed to her feet, standing on her tip toes to peer out the tiny window at the deserted street outside. It was one of those nights when she felt restless and pensive. Some might say it was because of the full moon. Many liked to link it to her werebeast heritage, but the more likely reason was simply because she had been thinking far too much. It was only the day before that she had been released from her confinement. The punishment for trying to escape. When she was alone her mind would spin and twist, taking her to incredibly dark places that she had no interest visiting. Unfortunately those thoughts were hard to push away once they wormed their way into her brain. With soft footsteps she dared slip from her room and down the hall. Listening intently for the sound of one of the guards or Felix to come and run her back to her room. But she heard nothing but the loud desperate cries of crickets outside. She had no idea where she was headed dressed in a loose sleeping gown with her hair a mess. She didn’t plan to go far and risk punishment again. If she didn’t go too far she could try to drum up some excuse like she had to pee or felt ill. Night had recently fallen so the local tavern was still full of life and as Lucia moved down the street she could hear the chorus of voices from inside but rather than go inside she hopped up on and empty barrel out front. Curling her legs beneath her she leaned back and looked up at the sky, just listening to the voices that drifted out from the lively atmosphere. Picturing for a moment how different things would be if she were a bar maid or something of that nature. Something that gave her a choice. Hearing footsteps moving up the street closer to her Lucia tensed. Surely someone hadn’t noticed her gone already? Didn’t Felix ever freaking sleep? Her silver eyes rolled down from the night sky to fall on the figure as it approached. ((sorry if its super boring XD if its hard to reply to I can edit lol)) |

It had been a hard day. Bulk supplies of items they couldn't find locally had come into the apothecary and there had been quite a bit of lifting and carrying to do. Not that Aislyn necessarily minded. The physical labor broke up the day but it was done by early afternoon. Finding herself free, she had done what she often did- taken off outside the city. Once in the fields she had changed and wandered until sometime in the midafternoon when she had stumbled upon a shaded pool, already helping to keep cool a number of sweet-tempered cattle. She certainly didn't mind sharing with them and she had changed again to plunge in. She spent time swimming, lazing in the water. Before she left she had washed, using some of the sweet smelling plants she found growing along the water's edge.
She had watched the sun set from the warm grass away from the shade of the pond, watching the sun go down. Widlflowers had been in bloom and she idly braided some of them through the wild mass of her hair. The long walk back to the city in the evening twilight was almost peaceful. It became less so when she got into the confines of the city, but there was still a sort of magic about night time. People acted differently- for better or for worse. Still she managed to avoid trouble. Though she might look delicate, especially in the long blue linen dress with straps that barely seemed to cling to her pale shoulders that she wore today and with her feet bare on the cobbles. The large knife held on her hip by a twist of brightly embroidered fabric that served for her belt seemed to deter anyone looking for trouble though. Or perhaps it simply wasn't late enough for them to tempt real trouble.
She didn't much watch where her feet took her, paying more attention to the queer way the stars seemed to fade in the middle of the city and the difference in the smells that nighttime brought. Still, she noticed when she turned down a street with little traffic. It perked her prey instinct and she hesitated, looking around. There were a few taverns here and a marketplace, now empty. Laughter and music spilled from the brightly lit windows but the rest of the world seemed almost eerily quiet. And the street was deserted except for one person.
Aislyn didn't try to hide the smile that shyly curled her lips when she met Lucia's eyes, her stance changing subtley. She walked the distance to her perch, coming within reach but not coming so close as to touch. "It's a lovely evening, isn't it, Lucia?" She gestured vaguely to the stars above and the city around them. "I... don't suppose you're waiting for someone?"
The were-elk sincerely hoped she wasn't.

| L ucia hadn’t expected to see the little were elk again, at least not so soon. It had only been a few weeks since their last run in and from the little she knew of the woman she liked to travel. She smiled and her tense posture loosened. Her smile softening her face and making the lips turn up at the corners. ”Aislyn.” She returned with a slight bob of her head when she was greeted. She watched as the woman drew closer, her heightened senses allowing her to take in the sweet scent of her. Of someone who was technically prey and should go out of her way to avoid a predator like Lucia. But here she was again. Lucia’s silver brows narrowed in confusion and she looked around the empty street when Aislyn gestured. Trying to figure out what she was getting at. Waiting for someone? Like a customer? Surely she knew that the whores had to sleep some time and at this hour there wasn’t enough street traffic to bother working. ”I…..no. I’m not.” She answered haltingly. Finding it hard to find the words. To anyone else she would have probably been sarcastic and thrown a rude comment. But she was somewhat curious to if the pale woman even knew what she was…or rather of the occupation that had been forced upon her. ”And you? Are you normally out so late?”She idly played with the ring around her thumb. Turning it by rolling her fingers over the flesh and spinning the gems round and round. Her silver gaze briefly left Aislyn to flick back down the street behind her. No sign of anyone coming to get her. Good. She scooted over so that if Aislyn chose to she could fit on the top of the barrel beside her. Both of the women being rather slender it would be a bit of a snug fit but doable. ”You’ll make a girl worry about you wandering around out here in the dark.” Lucia smiled but her words had a tinge of truth to them. She didn’t know Aislyn well enough to worry but the idea of someone putting their hands on her without her permission wasn’t a pleasant thought. Robbing the sweet woman of coin, or worse… Lucia’s attention moved down to the sheathed blade that hung around Aislyn’s hips and one of her brows rose. She shifted forward to let her fingers skim over the hilt of the dagger, her eyes moving up to Aislyn’s face while still in close proximity to her. ”But it looks like you have things covered.” Pulling her hand back she leaned back and looked back up to the stars. Not bothering to tug the neck of her gown up when it crept precariously down over her shoulder. ”Just one of those nights when I can’t sleep. Full of potential. Its nights like this that I get myself in trouble, taking off. So I’m trying to be a good kitten.” She smirked blithely, not coming straight out and saying who she was taking off from. If by some chance Aislyn didn’t know that she was forced into this life she wasn’t going to tell her and ruin a chance for a normal conversation. She had so few normal things as it was. |

Aislyn had only meant to ask if perhaps she was working, waiting in front of the tavern for a client inside, perhaps. She felt her belly grow cold and turn sickeningly at Lucia's hesitation, wondering if perhaps she had said something wrong or offensive. She also worried that perhaps the last time they'd met had been a fluke, just service for service's sake. After all, it was Lucia's job to make people fall in lust with her, at least for a time. But Aislyn lay awake some nights, remembering. Thinking too hard. Then the question sort of seemed to smooth over the awkwardness and the were-elk shifted to gain the seat offered her, feeling the warmth of the other woman's body pressed so close to hers. She refrained from leaning her cheek on the tan, exposed shoulder, instead turning her eyes briefly to the sky.
"I quite like the night. It's when I usually wander." She followed the glance to the knife on her hip and she ducked her head, breathing a soft laugh. "That blade's seen more plants than flesh in it's time. Still, I can fend for myself if I must." And she wished for a moment that Lucia's fingertips had brushed her skin instead of just her knife. Her rose colored eyes scanned the other woman's face, taking in the movement of her lips and the way her eyes looked in the starlight as well as listening the words she spoke. A somewhat queer turn of phrase she thought.
"I just... I'm not sure I can see you as a kitten, Lucia." Aislyn lifted a hand to push a few stray strands of white hair back behind her ear, hiding the bemused smile she couldn't seem to shake. "I know what you mean though, about tonight. I've been up since a little before dawn and I don't feel the least bit weary. It's a hunting night, I think." She tilted her head and looked back up at the stars. "Clear, still weather that won't give away your scent, good light to see by. You could catch a herd completely off guard creeping up on their hollows or into their fields."
Abruptly the door to the tavern banged open and Aislyn stiffened, head coming up in sudden alertness. But it was only a drunk, staggering down the street without so much as noticing them. The door swung closed again. The pale woman sighed and her gaze fell again the Lucia.
"Would you ah... like to go for a walk?"

Lucia smiled warmly at Aislyn when she joined her upon her meager perch. Letting her hand settle on the woman’s thigh in an action that may have seemed too familiar. Too sure. But Lucia wasn’t a woman to constantly second guess herself. It was more taking shots in the dark and hoping she hit her mark. Her smile deepened when Aislyn said she couldn’t see her as a kitten. ”You would be surprised just how small a leopard can feel sometimes.” [break][break] At Aislyn’s words about a hunt Lucia’s eyebrows raised and she leaned her shoulder closer to the pale woman with the beautiful eyes. ”You have the desire to hunt Aislyn? I never assumed prey would have such urges.” Perhaps that was her mistake. But Lucia only knew how she felt and for the most part she had been around predators when it came to werebeasts. The pupils of her silver eyes widened for a moment and her breathing seemed to deepen, a soft growl creeping from her throat before she clamped it down. It had been a very long time since Lucia had truly been able to hunt. The idea of it was nearly irresistible. [break][break] But Lucia had a strong hold on her predatory side. On the instincts that would overtake many of her own kind she found herself the queen of control. It wasn’t as if she had truly practiced it. But maybe her feline tendencies and her human were just so alike that the two thought as one instead of finding conflict in one another. The door to the bar suddenly flung open to slam against its wooden frame. Aislyn jumped a bit and Lucia pressed her hand more firmly against the woman’s thigh. Giving her a soft reassuring squeeze. Her own muscles had tensed but little else and she watched the man stumble away with a roll of her eyes. At least he hadn’t tried to bother them. Two beautiful women perched atop a barrel. He must be drunk to just keep walking. [break][break] ”A walk?” She repeated dumbly. Her silver eyes moving down the street, half expecting to see Felix or one of the guards there. She would have to be careful. Going too far would be risky and likely plant her back in that cell. On a night like today she would probably go insane locked in such a small space. Ramming against the walls and clawing at the cracks. But she was already playing with fire as it was. She would just have to be aware of where she wandered. [break][break] ”A walk sounds…nice.” [break][break] She scooted forward and hopped down. Reaching out to assist Aislyn down if she would allow it. ”Where are we going then?” Lucia ask after another look around, her eyes taking on almost a devilish quality to them. Her lips pulling into a very feline smile. Yes…she was a glutton for punishment. And if she was going to pay for something then it had best be good.

The touch on her leg made Aislyn smile just a little broader and lean into the leopard, pressing their shoulders together gently. She gazed down the road, and looked almost sheepish at Lucia's question, shaking her head. She cleared her throat before she answered, voice soft.
"No, but smart prey learns when it is most likely to be hunted." She turned her face towards her again, lips curved into a crooked smile. "And I've spent a long time around predators." Her breath caught a little at Lucia's growl though and she looked away, quickly turning her attention elsewhere. Bah! She felt like a teenager, mooning over her first crush. She had to admit that the idea of being hunted by Lucia took on an entirely different meaning in her own head. She filed the notion away for some harmless fantasizing later.
Aislyn took comfort in the strong press of the other woman's hand against her leg, in her closeness and in the sent of her. She was a social creature by nature though she had lived long alone. Her family had been close while she lived and most of her early life she had cultivated small but close knit circles of friends. Not recently though. Not in a long time, since war had taken so many of them. Peace had taken almost as many though. As they drifted away, rootless and purposeless. Many of them gave in to the passage of time or, worse, to the war that wouldn't end in their own minds.
For a moment, the were-elk thought her offer might have been too awkward, that she had read too far into Lucia's friendliness. But then she was moving and Aislyn accepted her help down though she didn't need it. She hesitated before answerign the question, then offered Lucia's hand and turned up the street.
"There's a night market in the area near the apothecary shop I've taken work at. Have you ever been?" She had been startled the first time she had seen the night market in the streets around the apothecary. It was a strange sort of affair, a small thing set up in the alleys and streets all lit by torches and lanterns. The queerest sort of folk came out- contortionists and animal acts, dancers and poets. Food was also available in abundance, so long as you weren't too picky about what was in it.

"A night market?" She repeated. She had no idea of such things. Of course it wasn't often she wandered away from where they were kept. And when she did it was to try to escape. Something that she had never managed to succeed at yet. She wasn't even attempting it on this night. Just enjoying the time she had and some pleasant company. Her fingers parted to curl around Aislyn's as they moved toward this 'night market'. Her silver eyes ever watchful and quite sensitive despite the darkness.
There was a sudden call from the darkness behind them and Lucia turned with a hiss. "Here kitty kitty kitty. You think no one would notice that your not in your bed." Without warning Lucia shoved against Aislyn's shoulder, aiming to push her into the nearby alley that she herself darted into. "Dammit!"She grumbled. So much for not getting caught. Now she was going to be locked in that damn cell again. She leaned into Aislyn. In effect pinning her to the wall if the wereelk didn't fight her. One hand covering her mouth and the other holding up one finger as if to tell her to wait. The foot steps grew louder as the guard passed them by. Lucia's entire form tensing as the shadow of him danced in front of the alley before continuing on. At least it wasn't Felix. This oaf couldn't find his own asshole. Once she was certain he had passed she slowly dropped her hand from Aislyn's lips. Regret shining in her silver eyes. She had really not wanted the woman to be aware of her situation if she hadn't been already. But there could be little question of it now.
"I'm sorry I shoved you." She said softly and stepped back. Eyes flicking nervously to the street then back to Aislyn. "Did I hurt you?"

Everything seemed to happen all at once. Back pressed hard against the brick wall of the ally Aislyn went still- but not the stillness that Lucia sometimes brought out in her. She didn't fight the werecat after her initial surprise but her rose colored eyes were fixed on her, her thoughts turning. She listened to the footsteps go by, in the mean time analyzing each of their interactions and each conversation they'd had. When Lucia finally released her and stepped back, Aislyn crossed her arms beneath her small breasts, still watching her.
"I'm not hurt." She said quietly, honestly. Perhaps a little bruised but nothing that wouldn't pass in a day or two. "Perhaps I am a little slow here, Lucia. "Are you... held against your will?"
The words were careful, and they failed to express the roiling emotions in her gut. Aislyn hated cages, whether made of bars or debts. Not for herself, not for anyone. There were those who took on chains and bonds willingly but to the werebeast it was the freedom of choice that made so much of a difference. If Lucia had been robbed of that... if she had no choice...
Aislyn felt sick, but she didn't look away from the snow leopard. She didn't seek reassurance or comfort- that wasn't what she wanted, nor what she deserved right now. She wanted the truth- and she wanted to know if she had done badly by this woman, despite having no intention to do so.

Aislyn seemed...displeased. Not that Lucia could really blame her, she had just pinned her up against a wall in a manner that wasn't at all exciting. "Good." She replied hearing that she was unhurt. But then came the question she had been dreading. One that forced her silver eyes to fall away from the beautiful woman and out to the shadowy street. She hated the thought of someone pitying her. It made her uneasy and hit her in the gut like a blow. She didn't need sympathy or pity from anyone, but from a kindhearted woman like Aislyn she knew she was likely to receive it.
She hurried to think of a cover. Of some other reason some guy would be looking for her in the middle of the night. But all the reasons seemed faulty and easily disproved. Aislyn felt so closed off. Even in posture she had crossed her arms. A physical barrier between them. Lucia didn't like the turn things had taken. She had wanted to enjoy the companionship of a woman she actually wanted to get to know. Someone who had stuck in her mind even through the sea of faces she saw daily. Eventually a defeated sigh rolled across her lips and Lucia shoved an unruly silver curl behind her ear.
"I guess this means we aren't going to the night market." She said blithely and stepped back until her slender form was leaned against the opposite wall of the alley. Those few feet between them feeling momentous. "You shouldn't ask me such questions, Aislyn. You might not like the answer."
She felt like being defensive and her tone reflected it. Just knowing that now Aislyn would likely be repulsed by her or feel the need to 'help' her. Empathy. She had the strong urge to return home and accept her punishment. Being locked in a windowless room couldn't be any worse than standing in this alley and feeling the oxygen being sucked from her lungs. She twirled the ring that Aislyn had paid her around her thumb, silver eyes looking anywhere but at the other beast.
"...Do you want me to leave?" She ask eventually. Getting the distinct impression that her presence made the other woman uneasy now.

Aislyn almost reached for her when she stepped back, then stopped. It wasn't exactly an answer to her question, but it was nearly as good as one even for someone who was not exactly a social genius. Aislyn leaned back against her own wall, still watching Lucia, watching her eyes move everywhere else. Watching her twist a ring on her hand. The ring Aislyn has given her, the elk realized with a start. Now she looked away, unsure of what that meant or if she should think anything of it. She didn't really know how to approach this situation. Lucia wasn't asking for help. In fact, she seemed to want to deflect from the whole thing.
"To ask uncomfortable questions is to grow." Aislyn said softly, and it had the sound of a quote. It was something her father had told her, and her mother after he was gone. It had stuck with her for a long time, but then truth was important in her life. the question brought her gaze back up, a quick jerk of the heasd like a startled deer. "No!"
The word burst from her, more strongly than she expected and the were-elk flushed. She reached up and raked both hand through her hair. This was a situation in which she had no bearing, no guideline for how to act. She didn't want to hurt Lucia. She didn't want to drive the woman away. "Please, just a moment. I don't really... I don't know what to do. Please."
She took a deep breath and let her hands drop from her hair, the plams rubbing nervously on her thighs. She grappled for words- she had never been good with them. She was better with her hands. "Lucia I... your life is your own, from me at least. I won't ask any more if you don't wish to tell me. If there is something I could do-" she stopped, shaking her head, frustrated that it didn't really sound like she was saying what she wanted to.
"I just don't want you to do anything with me you don't want to do." She finished quietly, voice barely a whisper. It sounded so shallow to her, but she could find no better words. There was so little trust between them, and she didn't want to make any demands on her. She just knew that Lucia had made an impression on her and she didn't want to lose that possibility, whatever it was.

Lucia watched the other woman out of her periphery unwilling to turn and meet her gaze even as Aislyn fumbled for words. She said some little quote like phrase that made Lucia's skin crawl. How poetic, if only if was true. She kept her expression blank despite how she was feeling about the whole scenario before her. Continuously turning the ring as if it were a talisman that would bring her luck. Then came the words she knew were coming, everyone wanted to be a hero. The problem was that not everyone could be saved.
Lucia still didn't look at Aislyn even as the last tentative words passed the elk's lips. Her own pursing in response. The silence stretched thin until her words came. "I haven't." Her words were resolute, unyielding, but truthful. She had enjoyed her time with Aislyn even if it were part of her job. She found comfort in her silent presence. Even when she spoke she seemed so calm and quiet. It was refreshing. But she didn't know where to go from here. What they could or should do. The night had obviously been dampened by just being 'what' she was.
Lucia pushed herself away from the wall and moved toward Aislyn. Slowly, giving her time to bolt or move away if she chose to do so. She closed her eyes and slowly leaned forward until her forehead could rest against Aislyn's if she didn't refuse her touch. "There are many people I don't want to touch...that I don't want touching me. But you are not one of them Aislyn." One hand would rise to gently lay against her neck, nails teasing the sensitive flesh before she pulled back and looked toward the end of the alley again.
"You might be harmed if they see you with me." She said softly, almost to herself. Was it worth it? Risking this sweet woman's health for a little while longer in her company?

Aislyn didn't look away, watching the snow leopard until she spoke. And something in her resolution eased Aislyn's heart thought perhaps it shouldn't have. She didn't move away from Lucia when she closed the distance between them, even leaning her head in and closing her eyes, breathing in the woman's scent. Tentatively her hands lifted to rest feather-light on either side of her waist. As she spoke further, the were-elk's touch became more firm though still gentle. When she lifted her head Aislyn blinked and followed her gaze.
At her concern though, Aislyn actually smiled. She tilted her head to the side and lifted her brows. "Lucia, I lived through nearly a century of war. I didn't do that just be hiding in the woods. You don't need to protect me." She made a decision then, even if she could quite put it to words. A decision to try and be normal. She didn't want to lose whatever she and Lucia had, even if it was just the potential for something.
"If you're still up for a walk, the night market is full of strange people. It's not hard to lose yourself among them. Otherwise we could just keep to the back alleys. I think between the two of us we can keep out of trouble." She ducked her head a little, not sure she was doing the right thing only knowing that she would prefer to spend time with her- if she still wanted to.

Lucia smirked in response to Aislyns words. She hadn't suspected the were beast would be so much older than herself, but then again their kind did age very well. Lucia was very young and yet she felt so very old. "Alright then." She said still grinning. But it was still there. That possessive streak that was undoubtedly a remnant from her feline side. She felt it with Killian also, someone who she wasn't romantically involved with in the least. But he was 'hers' as far as her feline nature was concerned. Just like Aislyn. And wanted or not she would strive to protect them.
Lucia contemplated Aislyn's words. Thrilled that she still wanted to spend time with her and no longer had that look on her pretty face. "I'm not so great at staying out of trouble." Lucia spoke, her voice taking on a bit of a sultry tone. "You have me intrigued...lets go see this market." She smiled then but Aislyn's head was bowed. Lucia didn't know if she was perhaps submissive or just shy but she found the action adorable. Hooking her fingers beneath her pale chin Lucia would attempt to tilt her face upward. Without any hesitation she seized those soft delectable lips with her own. Purring as her other hand fell down to her slender hip to pull her closer, even as she was pressing her against a wall.
"Its hard not to worry about you when you look so....breakable." Lucia murmured against her ear before letting her teeth lightly rake against her neck. And then she stepped back. Taking Aislyn's hand in her own before she got too carried away. Too lost in the sweet little elk. "We should probably go, lest I keep you in this alley the rest of the night." Another smirk although the look in her eyes said that she wasn't joking in the least.

Aislyn didn't resist the touch under her chin, her eyes widening in slight surprise when her lips were immediately captured in a kiss. Pressed between the hard wall and Lucia's soft strength, the moment of helplessness left her breathless and flushed, shivering under the rake of teeth and then at the sudden coolness of the air compared to the heat of their bodies pressed together. She licked her lips. Her eyes focused on Lucia again but a certain heat lingered in them, one that said she didn't half mind if they didn't leave the ally the rest of the night. Her fingers tightened briefly, white against the cat's tan. She stepped a little away from the wall, perhaps crowding a little too close to Lucia's shoulder for most peoples' comfort.
"This way," she murmured, drawing Lucia gently back towards the street. She checked to make sure the street was empty first. Despite the gravity of the situation, it felt a bit foolish, like she was young and sneaking out from under the mother's watchful gaze. Her eyes kept flicking back to Lucia as she led her by less used streets to the middle class district. Traffic picked up as they neared, mostly people heavy with drink and cheer.
When they reached the plaza where the apothecary shop was located, it was ablaze with light. Paper lamps in a dozen colors hung from the buildings. Music and laughter echoed off the dark buildings that ringed it and the scent of rich food filled the air. A woman with a brightly colored shawl danced of to one side of the street, her dark hair slicked back from her face. Her companions clapped a complicated rhythm, counterpoint to the stamping of her feet. Somewhere farther away a flute piped and eerie song. The crowd chattered and mingled, some folks wearing masks but most just enjoying the festivities with little additional theater. Aislyn paused at the edge of the plaza, tilting her head to bump her cheek against Lucia's shoulder.
"This is it."

Lucia followed with a grin still on her lips. Silver eyes ever watchful for the guards. But they made it to the night market without catastrophe and Lucia was stunned. It was so full of life. The lights were bright and the people even brighter. The music and the dancing made her feel like moving even though she had never danced in her life and would certainly be unable to keep up with the quick pace the woman was setting. Her head turned to see other interesting things, someone selling masks. Some of them rather beautiful and some the things of nightmares. She could smell food too. It was an unfamiliar smell but it carried the distinct hint of something spicy that made her mouth water.
"Do you come here often?" It was the first thing she had said since their arrival and she was obviously still a little shell shocked. There was so much to take in. Lucia didn't have any coin, but she didn't need it to enjoy herself. She twisted the ring on her thumb as she watched the people. A question bursting past her lips as her gaze shifted back to Aislyn. "Do you know how to dance?"
It wasn't an invitation. Lucia had no clue how to move in such ways. However if Aislyn knew she would attempt it. It was intriguing to say the least.
