I'm normally for art work depictions as opposed to photos so I need help converting a character from the drawn image to a real person. These are the two images I use for the character I'm thinking of, the first is when he is about 25 and the second is for when he's more around my age, which is currently 29. I normally use him for a site where there are several genres to choose from so I age him up or down depending on the particular roleplay I'm in.   Come to think of it, if I decide against him I have a dragon character I been thinking of using as well that I could use help converting. In her human form she is more well muscled than the average woman, which doesn't show up so well in the pic because I drew it and can't draw muscles.  Any help or ideas, or good places to browse would be appreciated. |

Ha ha, I'm not one for celebrities myself. I don't think I could name enough to count on one hand if I was put on the spot. Least ways I couldn't match them to a face. I'm far removed from pop culture unless we're talking Lindsey Stirling and Hayao Miyazaki. Them I know by sight.
I do think maybe my guy character would do best with an Asian image, but I dunno. Most real people pics seem to have these expressions that bug me. And I hate making eye contact with real people who I don't know, so having to look at these pictures is a little awkward for me.

Yeah that's the hardest part of finding a celebrity you like is finding one with the proper expression and "feel" of the character. Try searching tumblr.com, it's a great place to find gif's and really moody pictures, photoshoots and that kind of thing. If you really want asian faces, try searching for "asian models" or "asian celebrities". Or maybe even more specific by saying japan or chinese instead of asian. I know there are a lot out there, a lot of k-pop singers and models come from korea.

So we're actually going to get rid of the face claim rule and make face claims optional, but that means you'll have to describe your character with text instead of pictures because we're not going to allow anime or artwork unfortunately. But you can just describe your character and we'll work with that if you'd like. :3
