With Rook leaving I also must leave the site. It's been fun, but I cannot run this site anymore. I have a lot of schoolwork already and it's been only the first two weeks. I also have no muse left in me. We've made FotA because we wished to continue our characters' stories, and for the most part we did. But now most of my plots have died, along with any inspiration for the new ones. I may make a new site in the future that I have been planning even before this one, but for now I must take a break from rping all together. But I will be around to help the new mods and admins. If anyone wants to chat I'm still available on the discord, and occasionally I can hop back and check in with the site.
For now though, I cannot leave my character's stories without an end.
Arlyn Norwood: He has retired from being Water Master. Stepping down from his position, he decided to enjoy life, exploring new places and new things, and maybe even love. This old mage is in search for peace of heart, one which he may find, one day.
Pierre Guiliare: He left the life of court jester behind him. Forever living the life of an assassin, he has joined a darker side. He will always be lurking in the shadows.
Radulfr Caput Lupinum: He has had a talk with Wryn, about what happened back at the mansion. Ever since then, he grew closer, and perhaps more soft in his personality overall. Eventually, after a long while after he has done more dirty work, he decided that they settle down with enough money he gathered. He bought a house in Dryhtwood Forest. They had a girl called Gwenevere, named after one of his old friends. She's a human who would eventually become a hatter.
Ives Beaumont: He stepped down from his position as Lore Keeper after he returned from visiting his parents with Rook. After knowing that his apprentice Larkin still hadn't returned, he forced himself to resign and hand it to whomever the council chooses. He lived in a cabin in the woods with Rook from thereon. It is later discovered that their kitten was actually a werebeast, and so gradually he has become less racist, as Page became like a son to them.
Oceane: She still happily mops the deck of the Hollow Heart, forever loyal to her captain and comrades.
Da: He still lives in Cendra City with his daughter, Olwyn. Though it seems that the adventures never end for him.
Seymour Ostadar: He is still on the quest to find love. And to sleep with every single person in Oedir.
Siofra Nurmi: Still evil as ever, she had tried to take over the Aelfmenn Kingdom. She wasn't successful however, and now resides in their jail. Ironically she has been placed in the same prison her grandfather once been in.
Orin Forst: He has disappeared into the Dryhtwood Forest, never to be seen again. Some say he still watches over the forest, as its guardian.
Farkas Volkov: Even after he had become homeless, with the help of his sons and others, he slowly began to rebuild his life. He got a job, and shaved his beard. He became a generally nicer person overall, but it's still in progress.
Marduk Dusan: After continuing to rule the undead, eventually he got taken over. The new ruler is a strong king, leaving Marduk in exile as he wanders the Graveyard and Beyond, trying not to become mindless.
Eriu Bloodworth: She continued on many adventures, leading her a happy life everywhere on Oedir. However, one day as she was adventuring with a group of friends, she was slain by Marduk in a devastating battle, a sword pierced through her heart. Everyone was distraught but then she became undead, surprising many as she revisited them. Over time she became mindless however, but she was eventually slain by an old friend.
Ladon: He had a change of heart ever since he met Lux, who reminded him of Luhan's innocence. He came back to Shimmer and soon decided to leave. Later on he then died for a noble cause, sacrificing himself in order to save someone in the process.
Cyril Ashwin: Gathering his allies he finally met up with his brother Morighan. A battle took place over who should rule the Aelfmenn Kingdom and he died on the field, in his brother's arms.
Vidar: Unable to find the pontiff in the cathedral, he still roams the lands, searching for a new purpose.
Feel free to include these as NPCs, or in posts, or anything. Playing these characters have been fun for me. But for now, this is goodbye.
