Magical Ability:
Ice: She can create ice crystals up to the size of her hand. While she can make it out of nothing, she can't manipulate it any further. The hotter her surroundings, the harder it is for her to make ice.

Appearance:
Merfolk form.

She has curly, dark brown hair that turns blue toward the ends. She hasn't treated it or enchanted it to do so; it just does. It hangs down almost to the middle of her back. Her fair skin is unmarked, except for her magical mark, located at the base of her neck. Her dark eyes are large and expressive. She has soft and delicate features about the face. In fact, there's not much about her that isn't soft or delicate, right down to her small frame. Though rarely in her Merfolk form, her tail has a few different shades of blue, lighter on the bottom, and somehow sparkly in the light. She likes to wear dresses, especially blue or white ones, anything that looks good on her. She is also fond of jewelry, not too much of course, and also some pretty things in her hair. Often she'll wear a cape or cloak that flows behind her, so even if her dress is fitted, something is flowy.

Personality:
She is a sweet, timid little soul, content to smile politely rather than speak her mind. This may seem a weakness to some, but her patience and high tolerance for pain allow her to seem unbothered by things that would make lesser ladies cry. Of course, that goes almost completely unnoticed. She hates the idea of a fight, even if it's being fought for a good cause. To her, violence is wrong in any case. Therefore, she doesn't like to eat meat or fish. She's also been known to avoid eating eggs as well. Of course, she isn't perfect, so sometimes she loses her temper. If you can call it that. The worst she has done is scold someone. That doesn't sound too bad, but since she hardly ever even raises her voice, you can imagine how bad someone would feel if they upset Glacis enough for her to tell them off. Yes, that would be unsettling at least. The point is, she can be firm when she needs to, even if most of the time she's just a pushover.

So, she's approachable, not intimidating, and soft-spoken. She's also serious; she'll give you a straight answer no matter what and doesn't quite understand sarcasm. Her work ethic is strong, no matter the job given to her. It's unfortunate, since she's really not much for manual labor. Her work as a scribe suits her best, but she tries to make the most out of a bad situation. While it feels safer to be indoors, she likes the outdoors well enough. There are little animals there like butterflies and rabbits. She knows there are worse things, too. She's not much for religion or celebration for that matter, but she does her best. As for her magic, or any magic, she loves it. As long as it's used for "good," of course. The same goes for monarchs and those in power. She is not a risk-taker by any stretch of the imagination.

History:
Her father was the mage, and her mother was the merfolk. She doesn't know much about her mother besides that. She could be alive or dead for all Glacis knows. No, her father named her and raised her. She grew up in Lledrith School. Naturally, she learned about her magic there. She was always introverted, preferring books or her father's company to the company of her peers. Many of them thought she was stuck-up. The truth was, she simply didn't know how to relate to them. Her father was all too happy to spend time with his precious daughter. She really never learned how to socialize properly. After graduation, she wasn't quite certain what to do. Her father had always told her to do as she pleased; she could return to the ocean and try and find her mother or some solidarity there, or she could stay on land. She chose to explore the sea. It didn't last more than a decade. Glacis fit in even less underwater, and there were less books and scrolls there. She powered through it, but after about ten years or so, she left the ocean and returned to land. Although she was a hybrid, she had grown up as a mage, and so was let back into the city. She's lived there since, not interested in traveling. Though she sometimes feels the pull of the sea. It's in her blood, after all.
