The real traitor was among us all along...
No one was able to figure out who it was that killed the Immortal Queen and the Human King, as well as figure out who took the missing human princess, or how it was done. For the most part, majority of the royals had suspected that Elysia was poisoned, upon the which was the major priority. Even as the Head Tracker had headed down to the Underground Chambers to question the gladiators, none could figure out who had done it. Perhaps it was they whom were most suspected, but none were convicted of the crime for there was no real evidence. But it was none of them who had committed the act. Perhaps it was the least suspected person there, the one that been amongst the spectators this whole time. They had gone unnoticed, and this furthered the plan plotted by the mysterious group. But one of the kidnapped gladiators had escaped. A young male merfolk, among the like which sent them out in search of him. But who were these people? The Head Master and Water Master were right in the fact that they were indeed amongst the mages. But little did they know just how far their reaches had been.
One dressed in a black cloak, running away from the elderly mage that was going after him, sent him going toward the others dressed in dark cloaks. Deep within the Underground Chamber, near the Hidden Prison, they knew it was time for their next act. Majority of them had moved away from their place, leaving the prison unattended to for the most part, leaving only a few in guard to ensure that the prisoners didn't escape. But it didn't matter much now. Much of their plan was already going accordingly. It had gone so well, that in fact they could sense the tensions rising amongst the royals. Everything was perfect. But the fact that they were being found out made it less so. It was rather concerning, and they had to at least, rid those who knew about the fact that they were hiding amongst the mages. Primarily targeting the ones who had suspected them the most, the Head Tracker and the Master of Water, they had begun etching new plans into their mind. How are they going to escape without facing corporal punishment? And how were they going to make sure that their long-term goal was still going to be intact?
Within the stadium, the lights had begun to change. Swirling around and around until they had settled into the spotlight. It blasted into the sky, before swerving around. It then focused upon a fae, within the audience amongst the crowd. All attention was focused on her. The real culprit of the crime. However, who was controlling the lights, was a mystery.
"Braelyn Willowmist," an eery-like voice stated, booming throughout the coliseum in an echo. That was the first time anyone had heard that voice, but no one could figure out who it belonged to. But, this who was the real culprit was. The one who had committed the crimes against the royalty. Of course, was she innocent? Or perhaps was she betrayed by the very group? But nevertheless, anger had focused on her, and those who were behind all this.
After this happened of course, the forcefields faded. It was time for their leave. One by one they tried to head out of the coliseum, trying to remain undetected and making sure that they were not followed. All the while they were also going to try and dispose of the two mages, somehow. Some tried to escape through the tunnels of the Underground Chambers, while the others made their way through the crowd. But noticeably one might notice their oddity, as they wore long, dark cloaks that shielded their faces. The crowd however, was still in a frenzy, all anger pointed toward the one fae in the spotlight. But there were some eager to watch the final battle, Radulfr Caput Lupinum versus Eamon Lyall. Who will win, and take home the thousand gold? And are the mysterious figures really going to escape from those who suspected them...? And figure out the true purpose of this catastrophe?
(Ok, so the forcefields are down and the mysterious group of black cloaked mages are trying to escape. The chase is on, whether your character decides to go after Braelyn or the mages. Or they can continue to watch the final gladiator battle, Radulfr vs Eamon. At the end if Braelyn or the mages are found and/or captured, their purpose will be revealed. This part of the event will last until the 24th, which will conclude the Oedir Battle Royale.)

Within the underground chambers, Dorian had resided for the last few hours. Questioning, interrogating, and doing everything possible to try and find who was behind this before anything else happened. All of his searching was in vain however, he couldn't find a single solid piece of evidence that tied it back to a person. As he made his way out of the chambers he passed by the gated entrance to the arena. Sudden changes of light through the railing caught his attention. Slowly he approached the gates and watched as the lights focused in on somebody in the crowd and a name was spoken. Was she the murderer? Though he followed the light to the its focus just like everybody else, they only stayed there for a moment. From the gate he could see some commotion in the stands, it appeared that an elderly man was chasing after someone in dark robes... Arlyn!
In the next instant the noise of the crowd grew to almost deafening levels as some went after the woman who was named, and others clamored for the exit as the force-fields dropped. Pandemonium didn't even begin to describe the chaos, or the obvious tension and hatred in the crowd toward the woman. The only thing passing through Dorian's mind however was the person in the black robes that Arlyn was after. To be honest, Dorian didn't give a rat's ass whether some nobility was killed or not; but someone had threatened the school... Someone had threatened his people. For that, they had to be tortured... er... caught.
Glancing away from the gate he saw small groups of people moving through the chambers, trying to make their way out. Some there the labyrinth of passages beneath the stadium, others trying to head to the surface. He had to get to surface though, he had to help Arl-... Then he saw it. A flash of black robes as two figures rounded the corner of one of the stair wells, making their way deeper into the chambers toward other exits that lay within most likely. They looked like mages, but out of place, just like others that Dorian had seen and exactly like the brief glimpse of whoever Arlyn had been chasing. Like a sprinter that just got the signal to start the race, he bolted away from the gate. The look in his eyes was akin to that of a predator that just got the scent of a wounded animal. In his sprint he slammed into several groups of people that were rushing to and fro.
"MOVE!" Dorian bellow, grabbing someone he ran in to and shoving them to the ground. He had no time for kindness, nor the courtesies of "excuse me". As he slammed into several more people, he reached over his shoulder and slid out one of his swords, rounding the corner where he saw the mages turn. Again he saw them make another turn down the hall and sprinted toward it. The instant he rounded the corner, though, a large blast of purple energy passed just in front of him and slammed into the wall. It left a crater behind and sprayed rock and dust everywhere, shaking the whole of the chambers slightly; so they knew he was following them.
Coughing a bit he stumbled through the dust and into a larger chamber that looked like a sort of commons area, he was close to the exit, but so were they. Just on the other side of the chamber he saw the mages moving again toward the exit of the commons. He could feel a mixture of sweat and a bit of blood running down his face from the back blast of the rock that had hit him. The slightest smile touched the corner of his lips as he continued his chase... Now this was a hunt!

Most of the mages had escaped.
There was no trace left of the mysterious figures in dark robes, not even the fae who was responsible of the crimes had been caught. However, as the Head Tracker had headed toward the exit of the commons within the Underground Chamber, all seemed vanished until one, one mage stopped, turning his head over his shoulder, briefly standing there momentarily. "There shall be a war," he said cryptically. "We shall not displease our lord." Suddenly a blast of smoke filled the room, obscuring all view until every single mage had disappeared from sight. The remains of what happened at the Oedir Battle Royale had left everything in ruins. Mostly the dejected crowd which seemed hopeless, as if they were trying to pick up the pieces of what happened. Many were already gone by that point, fled the coliseum. The mages of the school were mostly distraught, by the fact that perhaps now they might suffer the consequences from the blame of the deaths from hosting this event. But such was not a thing beneath their control, as it was the rogues and the fae who most likely committed the act. But how? Why? No one knew. They could only wonder as they soon left their seats, walking toward the exit as it was soon over. However, from the ring there still bellowed a voice.
"And the winner, of the Oedir Battle Royale is....!" It was the same voice from before, the announcer who had seemingly gone missing. However he now stood at the center of the ring, smiling brightly as ever as though nothing happened. Perhaps he had merely been captured but found his way onto the field. The bright lights then shown on him in the spotlight, illuminating the ring once again. "Éamon Lyall !" He had beaten Radulfr in the final battle. Whether or not the remaining crowd had decided to cheer for the victor, was hard to tell from the remains of what happened. But then he left the stage, to go and find Eamon wherever he might be, to award him a gold medal and assign him the reward of a thousand gold if he was still even remaining within the coliseum. As the mages were trying to pick up after their own mess, the tension indeed still hung in the air from the rest of the royals, as perhaps scheming as to what might happen now after these series of deaths. But questions still remained. Who were these rogues? Why did they kill the royals? Did they force the fae, or did she do it by her own will? And, most importantly, who is the 'lord' they mentioned? But none would have the answer. They couldn't even find the mages after the ball.
There was another question however. Is there still going to be a war on the horizon...?
