TAGGED OUTFIT NOTES LOVELY NOTES WONDERFUL NOTES THAT ROCK MY SOCKS | He liked his little rabbit. She was far more compliant than the others and that to him felt good. He could relax and just breathe. Even though she had the natural response as prey when a predator was around, she for now was calm. He supposed that’s where she was utterly oblivious to the dangers that were lurking just beneath the murky depths of the water known as Felix. His power was clouding that instinct that should have picked up that predator gaze he was now giving her. He could feel his mouth start to salivate as the wolf started to send images in his head of what it would be like to chew on a rabbit spine. It was almost as if it were on queue that his stomach quenched with a tinge of hunger. He hadn’t realized he hasn’t ate in quite a while. Being so preoccupied with his job and what had to be done it slipped his mind. Avoiding her gaze now, blue eyes darted anywhere and everywhere but to her. Once she confirmed she was fine to begin walking that was when he quickly turned to get these thoughts out of his head.
It was weird the bond he was beginning to feel grow with this little white bunny. The one he was supposed to not feel anything for. However the longer he was staying in her presents the more he was beginning to feel a sense of ‘protective’. It was weird since he was the one that stuck her in this position unwillingly after all. She didn’t choose to be taken. It was almost as weird as she was finding small bits of comfort in his lead. Grabbing him by the hand and holding onto him like a lost child. Maybe that was what it were that provoked these feelings. She didn’t blame him for anything even though he was the one that done it. She held him not accountable but more as the victim. It was nice to not be stared at, to be despised like he was a monster…. But then she didn’t truly know what lurked in the depths of the shadows either.
At his name and feeling far calmer than before, he glanced over his shoulder and down to the white haired and blue eyed little lady next to him. It sounded odd she would ask it. A husband? Hardly. She would be lucky if the boss didn’t pass her around to his higher ups or better yet when he finally had his fill turn her loose out with the other girls. The mere thought made him bristle. ”Relationships…. Aren’t… like that where we are going.” he said as gently as he could. ”There will be several girls there. Some a lot like you but they don’t always come out like they do going in.” no they come out more like broken dolls. It was a hard thing to watch. ”Children are something that is bad for business.”

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ She didn’t understand all of it but Felix seemed reluctant to talk about it. Maybe it made him feel odd or uncomfortable. She didn’t know but with a quick nod she dropped the topic. Only to pick up the string of another that would probably sounds completely bizarre. Her fingers that clutched his hand tightened a little and a wrinkle popped up in her brow as she fought with what to say and how to say it. She slowed to a stop and her hand gripped his to try to get him to stop as well.
”Felix.” She said softly. Her blue eyes moving to the ground as she began to speak. His calming effect still working its magic to keep her fear from crippling her. But it was still there in the back of her mind. Poking tiny holes in any thoughts she had that everything might turn out ok. ”I know whats coming…but I really don’t. I told you that I’ve never..” A soft pink flooded her cheeks and Larkin turned her large blue eyes up to catch I own.
”And I don’t want to remember my first time being with someone who...would force me.” It was a good thing his magic was still in affect now, otherwise she would probably be hyperventilating. ”I know you don’t know me…and I don’t know you. But I trust you and I don’t think you would hurt me.” She slowly released his hand and stepped closer to him. She recalled her first kiss, he wouldn’t be the first man she kissed. But maybe he would be the first for something else. Something much more monumental.
Her hands rose to grip the front of his shirt. The blood that had been on her hand was mostly wiped away or dry at this point. The scratches on her leg barely bleeding now. And so she moved closer. Stretching up on her tip toes until her lips could just brush against his own. Her slender form pressing softly against his much more formidable one. ”…will you?”

TAGGED OUTFIT NOTES LOVELY NOTES WONDERFUL NOTES THAT ROCK MY SOCKS | Once more his name was spoken with soft words and a tug on his hand signaled that she… yet again… stopped. Frustration was clear on his face and though he was doing his best to be understanding, it was wearing thin. They were no further than their last stop. He breathed through his nose and turned to face her as she gripped his hand in hers. He wondered for a moment what possible question she was going to ask next and had he known he probably would have been a little more prepared. However he hadn’t and it was enough to make his knees give out under him as she pressed her smaller frame into his own, lips near his. ”wh-what?” It was so odd how she could evoke such feelings from him and simply played him almost as finely as a fine tuned fiddle. ”Larkin… I-.. we… “ it was hard to turn down such a request. It wasn’t even because she was unattractive but more he wasn’t allowed to touch the merchandise. ”Your request is something I cannot fulfill.” Never in his life had he had a request like hers. Normally when it came to such things it was just… done. It was like there was a quiet understanding between him and his partner that no words were needed. Aside from that he had just kidnapped this girl. He had taken her unwilling and was marching her away to her doom and she wanted him to ---…. To be her first?
It took him a moment to get himself steadied again. Once he found the solidity in his stance he sighed quietly. He observed her features, searching her eyes. It seemed like a tough thing to say because he felt bad for turning her down. He didn’t really want to. Had they been in different circumstances he probably would have taken her offer. However it was not as simple as that. She belonged to someone else. Someone far more powerful than he wanted to deal with. ”I can’t because you are technically not mine.” he said quietly as gently as he could to her. ”You are his.” It was with soft fingers that he pushed was locks of hair from her face away. He hoped she understood and would not be upset with him.

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ Larkin hadn’t known what to expect from her request. Of course it was out of the ordinary. This entire scenario was not what normal people dealt with. But it was the last words that passed his lips even as his fingers slipped through her ivory locks that made her stiffen. A soft nod and she stepped back, turning so that she could wait for Felix to take the lead again. She wasn’t very skilled at hiding her emotions but thankfully with his magic still coursing through her even that statement hadn’t hit her quite so hard.
”I understand.” She said softly. Her hand twitched at her side and she grasp the material of her dress to resist the urge to reach out to him. She belonged to someone. Like a book or a toy. It hadn’t even been an ‘I don’t want to’ just a ‘you’re not mine’. ”I’m his.” Just saying those words made bile rise in her throat and her heart beat a little faster. ”I’m sorry Felix….I-I shouldn’t have ask that of you.” She forced a smile and took a step forward as if to encourage him to move. Even walking was better than standing here like a fool.
Was it because of what she was? Or was it truly because he viewed her as property? Neither idea was one that could be easily stomached and Larkin wanted to pretend it never even happened. She was going to go to some stranger who had bought her. She would find out everything there. Her fear surged and Larkin bit down hard on her lip until she could taste copper. Her bright blue eyes staring unerringly ahead. She couldn’t panic. If she panicked now with his magic what would happen later when it was gone?
”We should probably get going.” Said a tiny voice. She recognized its timbre as her own but she didn’t remember speaking.

TAGGED OUTFIT NOTES LOVELY NOTES WONDERFUL NOTES THAT ROCK MY SOCKS | The light seemed to have left her at that very moment and as she spoke he had gotten the vague feeling he may have crushed her feelings. He hadn’t meant to. If anything that was the last thing he had wanted to do. She however did not grab for his hand and even gave some distance between the two of them. That felt cold. That felt like the coldest experience he had had with her thus far. Her words were spoken but not with her usual feeling. Instead it sounded more monotone and robotic. He continued to observe her as she fiddled with her dress and then repeated his words of her being someone elses. The corners of his mouth tugged down even further. She soon forced a whisked away smile and said she hadn’t meant to ask and then started to walk.
He was confused by this but he followed no less the same. She seemed so broken now and he wasn’t entirely sure what to do with her. Having gotten used to her one way and she suddenly act a different it was like throwing a curve ball into his usual dealings with her. ”You have something on your mind you wish to say?” he finally asked pulling her to a stop and turning her to face him. ”You’re silence is deafening and I may drive myself insane if I don’t know what’s going on in that head. Speak up.” it was a little demanding but he was attempting to work on being softer around her. She at least deserved that much before he whisked her into the arms of a man that would likely be the death of her.

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ Larkin felt herself being pulled around. Her blue eyes reluctantly moving up to Felix's face. What does it matter whats wrong? She wondered. She was just a charge he was forced to deal with. Her emotions this entire time had been moving in all directions but now was when he chose to confront her about them? "Why?" She ask softly. Unable to hide the quiver in her lip when she replied. "I'm just...a thing to you. To them. Aren't I?" She had thought that he was just like her. A victim of a different sort. But the way he spoke....she belonged to that man. It made her feel like maybe she had been wrong. She was well aware of where she was headed. Of what was going to happen. It had been silly to proposition him as she had. Curiosity killed the cat, and maybe the rabbit too.
"I know I"m just....I'm just a hybrid and that no one wants us around. But its not like I wanted to be like this either." She took a steadying breath but didn't turn away. Not until he allowed her to.
"I just...I thought you were different. I'm sorry." Her pale eyes flicked to the earth and she turned partially as if waiting for him to release his hold on her arm. It had been wrong to latch onto him for some sort of a connection. It had been wrong to trust him. To think that he was not the enemy. This whole scenario was wrong and for all she knew and had read from her books she was still a fool.
"Can we just go?" She practically whispered. Her nose twitching as her emotions rose, and her heart thudded faster. She didn't want to think about all of it. If she had this horrible inescapable fate then so be it. But she didn't want to focus on it. She rubbed the back of her hand over her face and rubbed the bloodied scraped leg with her other foot. Waiting for him to let her continue on to face her dark future.

TAGGED OUTFIT NOTES LOVELY NOTES WONDERFUL NOTES THAT ROCK MY SOCKS | Why did he care so much? It didn’t feel right but at the same time it did. He was stuck between these two feelings that he wasn’t entirely sure he knew what to do with. As he pulled her to a stop and his mouth moved to speak the words… he didn’t feel like it was him saying them. He felt like he was peering from up high somewhere looking at his body. Jaws tightened a bit as she spoke soft and almost inaudible. Maybe he shouldn’t worry about this. It wasn’t like he had the right to, right? But as she spoke those words he was immediately shaking his head. What was going on? Why was he doing things he didn’t even think about doing?! Since when did he let his emotions play out in action? ”I don’t think so. No. I have never thought that way about someone or anything really.” and it was true and it was beginning to scare him at how honest he was being with her. He bit the inside of his mouth to get himself to quit talking. The pain causing him to wince a bit but he listened as she spoke and the mention of being a hybrid caused his brows to furrow. He supposed she wouldn’t know he was a hybrid but the way she spoke he could identify with the feeling.
Maybe that’s what it was. She was a fellow hybrid that would equally be as mistreated as he was. ”I know how you feel, Larkin. I really do.” he frowned. ”Remember when I told you I would get in trouble if I didn’t bring you? Or damaged you?...” he paused as he breathed through his nose. ”I am a hybrid too and I get mistreated a lot harsher than the others who work with me.” he said. ”Im not trying to be unkind.” he whispered. ”But being as a hybrid. I am just doing what I am told.” his stormy blue eyes rose back up to hers and quietly they held a very apologetic gleam in them.
She just urged them to go and with a small nod he waited for her to almost take the lead and he followed. His hands now stuffing themselves into his pockets looking like a kicked pup and to be honest he kind of felt like it. He wasn’t sure why this woman was getting to him, sinking in skin deep to the point of making him feel so unusual. It was almost like he felt the need to explain himself to her.

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ He was a hybrid too.
She couldn't get that thought out of her head. He was like her. Well..not exactly. She didn't know what made up the two sides of him. But still...he knew how she felt. Larkin fought against the urge to speak to him. She wanted too. She wanted to feel like she wasn't so utterly alone in this but...she was. No matter how much she strove for that connection she was alone in all of this. No matter how she tried to cope, to reason things out in her mind. To even make the ridiculous attempt at giving something precious away to a man she had only met. Only so she wouldn't be so afraid when she was actually at that point. Or maybe it was because she didn't want that little piece of her life stolen from her, since the rest of it soon would be.
Her brother....would she ever see him again? Would she even want him to if she survived and somehow escaped the life coming? Would she be different? Broken? From the way he had spoken and acted there would be no after. Whatever was coming would just be...it. Larkin's steps eventually slowed and without looking over at him or in any way acknowledging what she was doing the little hybrid reached up to slip her hand into his pocket. Her small fingers slipping over his palm until the moved between his fingers to cling to his hand.
She didn't speak for several minutes as they walked. His calming magic that assuaged her worried mind slowly fading away. But she wasn't panicking, at least for the time being she had reached a quiet acceptance of what was to come. Even if she didn't want it. Slowly as the tiredness set in Larkin leaned her head against his shoulder. Given her shorter stature it wasn't hard to do. When morning had begun to streak the sky with orange an old abandoned house could be seen through the trees. Overgrown in every way with vines and trees holding the walls together more than the wood itself. She didn't speak but wondered who had lived there, and what had caused them to abandon it once upon a time. She didn't speak but she found her blue eyes lingering on the abandoned structure. Curious as ever even while on the trail to her own demise.

| | The only thing that met him was silence. A sort of deafening non-existent sound that was much louder than her talking. He almost preferred it actually. He had grown so accustomed to it with in their short time together and now that it wasn’t there he could feel a tightening in his chest. A pure sort of panic that was making his chest hurt from the force his heart beat. As he focused on it he could almost swear that there was an invisible hand now beginning to clench him at his throat. His breath felt strained like he was trying to breathe through a straw. Was he about to die? Was his throat closing up on him? Brows furrowed trying to figure out why his anxiety was rising when he felt her hand dig into his pocket for his. The moment her tiny fingers went around his. it felt like fears were melting away. His heart rate slowed and his breathing became easier and smooth. Everything went still and it amazed him that such a small unknown little hybrid could put to stop an escalating problem. His gaze quietly moved down to her as she completely avoiding in looking at him. Encouragingly, he squeezed her hand and tugged her a little closer about the time she laid her head on his shoulder. A sort of surge went through him. He couldn’t do this. He couldn’t send her to her doom and he found himself thinking of every which way he could to get her out of it. Maybe he could just stash her away somewhere? Tell the boss she ended up dying from a fatal wound? Maybe she was already dead upon his arrival? Yeah, that sounded like it could work.
He hadn’t realized how long they had been walking until they came upon an old abandoned house. This made him stop and glance towards the sky for a moment. They had been walking much of the night in silence. ”You tired and wanna stop?” he asked her. Whether she wanted to or not though, he was going to. Letting go of her hand he moved from her to go check out the abandoned house and see if there would be a simple way in. ”can’t get in without busting some boards.” he said frowning a little as he went to go check the side windows. | but you sleep with the bones of a rabbit |

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ Larkin nodded slightly when he ask if she was tired. If she wanted to stop was a differnt question entirely. At this point she just wanted to get the inevitable over with. Quietly she followed Felix closer to the abandoned house. Blue eyes following him as he disappeared to walk around it and flicking to the other side when he appeared again. Break some boards? The door had likely just been locked from the inside. Her tongue pressed against her teeth as she stepped closer to the building. Pale eyes moving down to the lower parts of the structure until she found a small opening. Likely one that had been chewed by a rat at some point. But given just how tiny she was even compared to most rabbits she was certain she would fit.
"I can get inside." She said while kneeling in front of the small hole in the wall. She gestured to it and then walked over to where Felix stood. "Can you hold my clothes so I don't ruin them?" If he agreed she would turn around so that her back was to him and remove her dress and undergarments. Rolling her clothing into a ball she would hand it back to him without turning around and begin to shift. It only took a matter of seconds before she was a tiny bunny barely the size of the palm of ones hand. Her little white nose twitched and one of her back feet rose to scratch at her ears. With a shake of her skull she took off toward the tiny hole in the wall. Her short little ears perked high on her head as she stuck her nose inside and sniffed. Checking for danger. She of course sucked dust and dirt up into her nostrils and was left in a horrible sneezing fit that sat her back on her ass until it was over.
She looked back up at Felix and wriggled her nose with a soft sniff before trying the hole again. This time sticking her head all the way inside and her little body following. But something was waiting for her, the rat that had made this abandoned house his home. And being the opportunistic creatures they were he pounced on the small fluffy meal that was just delivered to his front door. Larkin screeched in a high pitched keel only a rabbit could accomplish and tried to bolt as something bit at the fur of her neck. Its paws pushing her down against the hard floor as she struggled and kicked to get free. She could feel its teeth moving closer and closer to her skin. Biting through her downy fur. And then it struck gold. She instinctively went limp when the rat bit down hard enough to break skin and jerked at the hide of her neck. In effect scruffing her, even though it was just dragging her. She could smell her own blood in the air and hear the grunts and squeaks of the rodent that was certain it had just killed dinner.
"Felix." She sent to the man outside. Although she knew he didn't have a way in, which was why she was in this situation in the first place. When the rat moved along side her where her feet were limply dragging she saw her chance. Both tiny white feet kicking out hard enough to knock the rodent away from her. Its teeth ribbing through her skin as she broke free. And before it could snatch her again she shifted into something much too large for the rat to try to eat. The wound of course grew as she did, turning out to be quite a large gash across the back of her neck. She whimpered and covered the wound with her hand. Feeling her blood slipping between her fingers. It hurt.... But at least the rat was running from the naked human now sitting in 'his' home.
Larkin reached back to flick the small lever that held the door firm, the ancient wood creaking as it opened several inches. "My clothes." She said quickly before it could open any further. Still sitting on the floor with one hand clutching her bleeding neck.

| | She asked if he could hold her clothes and he naturally said yes. He tried hard not to look even though his eyes wanted to slide that direction. Luckily the temptation was quickly cleared up the moment she shifted down to a dwarf sized small rabbit. He could feel his wolf licking his chops as he stared down intently at the small creature. Once she started to move towards the hole, his fingers clutched her clothes a little tighter as he begun to feel his muscles in his legs want to move. He forced himself to stand there, locking his knees in place so he didn’t absently move. The predator in him wanted the small fry and it was hard to fight against that raw instinct especially when hunger wallowed in his stomach.
Things seemed to have been going decently enough and so he was left standing alone outside holding clothes. Nostrils flared a little as he attempted to catch Larkin’s scent doing his best to continue to embed it in his mind. It made tracking easier when he needed to. He imagined like the prey she was, she would try to run from danger the moment it happened much like she had when he first snagged her. Once she would realize the danger was inevitable, like a lot of them did, she would be fine. However, as much as he wanted to believe he was taking her to the boss he knew deep down what was going to happen. He knew he was going to end up backing out of this. The thought had already fleetingly made its way into his head. It was only a matter of time before he was doing it.
A screech caught his attention immediately that came in from the house and soon that followed after it was the sound of her calling for him. Moving towards the hole where she had slide through he couldn’t say he could entirely see what was going on but he knew she was getting attacked or so it sounded… ”Larkin.” he called. Hoping maybe she would just run back out. He was pretty stuck however being on the outside of the walls and having no way in but he supposed if push came to shove maybe he could bust a window? Break the door? He circled around to the front of the house towards the door and attempted to peer into one of the dusty windows only to find she was now shifted. Stepping away and looking as she cracked the door open asking for her clothes, he did as she asked. ”Are you okay? What happened?” Concern was over flowing and though he didn’t want to admit it. He was beginning to care for her.
The scent of fresh blood got that predator going again and the hunger was making it a little harder to fight the wolf that kept pushing to the surface little by little as time went on. ”You're bleeding.” he said quietly. He hoped she wouldn’t open the door and to be sure she wouldn’t his hand was on the knob. Once he felt a tug as though it could open, he held fast. ”No. I can’t come in.” he said. The blood was much stronger than when she had scratched her leg and the wolf’s hunger was strong. It wasn’t like watching a small rabbit going into a hole… this had given it more drive. This had kicked in the hunters response. A soft growl was starting to move into his throat. ”Keep it closed. Please.” his blue eyes closed as hand still remained on the door leaning his forehead against the door frame. The scratches were desperate in his skull. ”Take control of the door. Lock it again.” he could feel the command to open it. The command of nature to hunt. ”I need to stay away from you for a little while.”

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ She reached out to take her clothing with her free hand. The other that was flat against her next twitching against the pain that made her body go rigid. Maybe it was because of the location, or maybe the wound was deeper than she thought but when Larkin pulled her hand away ,and looked down at the bright red smeared across her fingers it took her breath away. She had never been hurt badly enough to bleed this much. Her eyes widened and her breathing quickened as fear settled snuggley into her chest. So much blood. She could feel it now with her hand not putting pressure on it. She could feel the warm streaks that moved down her back like the cold scraping fingers of death.
”I-I was…a rat, it-“ Her bloody hand was shaking and her other clutched her clothing to her chest. So bad, so much blood, she looked up at him. Barely comprehending his words. ”Yeah its…I don’t know how bad.” But something was bothering him. She could tell even with her mind elsewhere. He kept saying to close the door, that he couldn’t be around her and for the first time Larkin wondered if maybe Felix was a predator. If her blood was igniting something dangerous in him. She wanted help, maybe even needed it. But she knew that now wasn’t the time to argue with him.
The pain was intense, like red hot streaks beneath her skin. She bit down on her lip to keep from asking for his help again and reached up to push the little lock back in place. The one that Felix wanted between them. With the door between them and keeping her hopefully out of view she dropped her clothing on the floor in front of her and clamped both hands over the wound. She felt as if she were going to faint but fought against it, knowing that it was just a mental thing. She wasn’t injured badly enough. She was just panicking. Her nature making her assume the worst.
But she wasn’t able to calm her frantically beating bunny heart. She couldn’t get the smell of blood out of her nose or the fear from her veins even as crimson leaked steadily between her fingers. A soft thud could be heard as she passed out on the dusty floor of the deserted cabin.

| | A rat had attacked her? Part of him found it really humorous at least the darker side of him but he also knew her rabbit was dwarfed and a rat would eat just about anything if put up to the challenge. His jaws clamped down tight as she finally started to listen to what he said about shutting the door on him and locking it. He knew she was probably confused as he never explained that he too could shift into an animal but this wasn't the time. While he still had the ability to think straight and had some control he needed to put a barrier between the two of them. The wolf through a hissy fit once he relaxed when he heard the lock clink and he let go of the knob. The black k9 pushed harder, growling, snarling, and snapping as he shoved his way free. Felix started to sink a little against the door frame as he used his wait and knew well Larkin would be okay on the other side. The smell of blood wasn't nearly as strong even though his wolf knew well it was there. "You will be okay, Larkin. Just stay in there. I will check it out once I get the chance." he hoped it wasn't as bad as he smelt it. The fresh ruby liquid that started the stirring he could no longer put a stop to. The wolf had the upper hand this time.
The shift was definitely forced and not one with a smooth transition. It hurt when he was forced. The human naturally wanting to pull away from the extreme pressure put onto him as the daring beast shoved through to the surface. Black fur started to replace skin and blue eyes were clouded over by piercing yellow. Once fully through the large black wolf shook himself free of the clothing that bound him and scatched at the door. Large black nose twitched and sniffed, pressing in hard as he could smell the droplets of blood. Puffs of hair slipped past the crack making wooshing sounds as in haled and exhaled. He wanted that rabbit. A soft growl slid passed his jaws as he soon paced along the front of the house and then to the side where the hole was. Head could barely pop in and though he tried to squeeze through he was just far too big to be able to. Large paw replaced his head after he pulled it out and started to scratch and dig to try and make it big enough for him to slip through. He went about then trying to circle around the house to find another way in. Long legs carrying him in smooth gait and made his paws thud against the ground. Eventually he darted off finding that tryingto find a way in was far too much work to ward off this insatiable hunger.
--- little later
EVentually the large k9 made its return and was losing the will to stay to the surface. After picking off a few small rodents, he made his way back towards the house only to have the human end up back in control. Forcing the wolf back into its place, Felix took its place and was now left with the chore of getting his clothes back on. "Larkin? I'm back. Are you okay?" he asked. He was glad the wolf didn't just jump through a window but he was driven by hunger otherwise he probably would have thought of it. Either way, he was glad the wolf was unsuccessful. "You can let me in ..." he said waiting and listening for any sounds of shuffling that may be coming from inside.

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ Once she was unconscious it took little time for the rabbit to calm down. Her fear and pain fell away as the darkness flooded her mind wit numbing darkness. Maybe fifteen or twenty minutes later she stirred. Confusion making her quickly sit up and with wide eyes look around the cabin. Then she remembered the attack. Felix telling her to lock him out. Her cheek was wet as was much of her ivory hair, she could smell her own blood in the cabin like a sickly perfume. She rubbed at her cheek with the back of her hand and weakly reached for her dress. Pulling it over her head she let it fall down her body. A breath hissing between her teeth when it brushed her wound. Still sitting on her knees she leaned back so that her head could lean against something that appeared to have been some sort of cabinet. Her mind drifted as she sat there. Not opening the door as she hadn't been told to.
The sound of something outside drew her attention and she turned to look at the door that was only a couple feet away. Holding her breath until she heard a familiar voice. Felix. "I'm fine." She said softly, a bit weak. "Are you?.." She didn't know what had happened to him or what he might have turned into. Something predatory she assumed from the way he had acted. But she didn't know for certain. When he said she could let him inside she stretched out to undo the latch. The door springing open several inches with a pained groan. Dried blood still clung to her hand and was smudged on her cheek. Even more of it streaking her hair. The dark red overcoming the ivory strands with ease. She was still sitting in the floor, not feeling strong or brave enough to attempt standing just yet. She felt like she was in a fog and now that she was awake her wound hurt again although not nearly as badly as before.
And at least she had managed to get her clothing back on, that was something. If he came inside she would look up at him. Still obviously somewhere between present and dreamland. Her head certainly felt cloudy enough for all of it to be a dream. "Hey." She breathed. A smile faintly curling her lips before it disappeared. Her blue eyes falling shut slowly like someone losing the fight against exhaustion before snapping open again. "Felix, how did you get in?" Confusion, a small shift of her head as she turned to see the door as if it held all the answers. She blinked in confusion then rubbed a pale hand over her face. "I don't feel so great." She reluctantly admitted and leaned her head back with a soft groan when her injury was agitated. "Is it ok if I sleep? I'm wore out." But already her eyes were closing again.

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]He stepped in cautiously as blood still lingered in the air and though the wolf stated plainly what he wanted, he was satiated for now. He shut the door behind him and leaned down as she laid on the floor. She looked weak. His brows furrowed concerned. He shouldn’t have let her go in, he should have checked it out first. He sighed quietly through his nose and stood to bend down to pick her up off the ground. Finding a spot against the wall so he could lean backward, he pressed his back into the wall and slid down with her in his arms. ”Shhh.” he said as she started to speak again. ”rest.” [break][break]
Once she was asleep again he would go and get her something to eat to help build her strength back up. Build a fire and cook it... Maybe even rob some market of its vegetables. If his wolf cooperated with him he could cover more ground in a quicker manner than in his human. Besides that, he wouldn’t be easily identified either. He rests her on his lap and quietly brushed her hair from her face, blue eyes down on her. It was a pull. He could feel it. A surge in him that he had never felt before. He actually cared for this woman. After a moment he laid his head backward and allowed his blue eyes to fall shut. Breathing out softly as he allowed his body to fall relaxed. He would need to gather more energy for in about an hour or two... [break][break] ”I’ll protect you….” he whispered.
