[break]Mages: Divine Invocation: Uzochi possesses the power of invoking different attributes of the gods. He can do this by reciting sacred hymns of gods, using totems and shrines. Either it's praying to the god of water for rain or sanctification from the god of light, it's in his power. It takes a lot of energy out of Uzochi to preform to channel this power as well as repetition of rites and hymns so afterwards he needs a break.

The first thing one might notice about Uzochi, it's his resting bitch face. He doesn't mean to have it, but it's just there! He really is a nice guy! Physically speaking, Uzochi has dark skin -- the color of milk chocolate or perhaps nutmeg. His eyes are warm brown like oak tree bark. His hair is wiry and needs daily maintenance in order to keep it neat in order. He stands at 6'0" weighing 175 pounds. One of his favorite things to wear his a cloak. No matter how hot it is, he loves his cloak. Though, sometimes it can get in the way. Uzochi can also be seen wearing classical wear such as togas, kilts, and other tribal material and outfits.

Personality:

Although Uzochi, looks imposing, he's actually a sweetheart. He cares for other people as if they were close friends and family and tries to treat everyone equally. He's friendly almost to a fault with talking to people he doesn't know and giving out information that he probably shouldn't be giving out. Aside from that, he's generally a nice guy.

Uzochi sees himself as an introvertive extrovert. He likes his space, but at the same time craves human interaction. This sometimes causes him to give mixed signals to people around him. Uzochi can become very passive aggressive and will make sly remarks. He also can become slightly vindictive when upset with someone.

Now when it comes to guys...Uzochi can become flustered and very awkward. He tends to stare at places that he normally wouldn't stare at and may or may not start to stutter. Unfortunately, Uzochi's overall self esteem isn't as great as it should be. If he's about to go on a date, he'll make assumptions about the guy not really liking him or that he isn't good enough for that guy. Though, after he has become comfortable around the guy (or friend zoned), he'll turn back to his sinnamon roll-ish ways. Women are easier for Uzochi to befriend since he doesn't have anything to prove.

History:

Uzochi was born to two mages named Francesca and Travis Onwumere in the Realm of Mir before they moved to Sakari Wildes. He was the third child, second son, and the last child for the couple. Uzochi had a considerably normal child. His older sister, Yamera, was a skilled air elementlist who was brought to the academy once her powers started to manifest. The same thing happened to his brother, Aja, when power of spirit started to show. Both of his siblings were born into their respective magics around the age of thirteen. However, when it came to Uzochi, his magic didn't appear. His parents didn't know why his magic wasn't showing since the mark was there.

Because Uzochi's powers remained dormant, he remained at home, helping out around the house and getting a part time job to add to the income his parents were making. Though, as he worked, he always wondered why his magic never activate. He would pray to the gods, but found none. A week before his eighteenth birthday, Uzochi had decided to take drastic measures to achieve his goal of getting his magic. He had heard that sacrifice was a good way to get the gods attention, but before he could preform the ritual, he felt something warm in his chest. Though, he wasn't sure if it was from the spicy lunch his father made hours before or his magic coming in so he attempted to manipulate all four of the elements. Surprise, nothing happened. However, Uzochi was persistent. Luckily, he discovered that he could cast spells, make potions, and perform rituals. That was enough for the trackers to come and take him to Lledrith School.

While there, Uzochi didn't stop searching for what his main powers. During his first year at the academy, the young mage decided that he would head over to the temple for some relaxation. Once there, he was drawn to the hymns that were laying orderly on one of the stands. Walking up to it, Uzo started to hymn the hymn. It was to the god of water (one of his favorites behind the goddess of nature). Feeling that warm sensation in his chest again, Uzochi picked up the paper and started to actually sing it. As he sung the hymn, he could feel magic leave him and evaproate into the skies. Soon, clouds started to form outside of the temple. The more he sang, the thicker the clouds became until actual rain started to pour down. Finally, Uzochi was able to active his magic! After this, he started to go to the temple regularly, signing the hymns and mantras that were available to him. That's when he realized that he could draw power from the gods through hymns, mantras, and later on, totems and shrines.

Uzochi's mage tattoo is that of an ankh on his left shoulder. Whenever he uses his magic, the tattoo glows.
