Magical Ability:
The ability to control her metabolism. Or rather to slow it to a crawl or to speed it into hyper drive(which she has never needed to do). Solara wasn’t immediately aware of her ability after the ceremony. It was only when some rather trying events in her life occurred that she realized that if it was needed she could go a very long time without food. Many many years actually.

Appearance:
Solara doesn't look nearly as tough as she is. She looks fragile, delicate. But in truth this woman has taken her fare share of bumps and bruises and just keeps going. Her skin is a soft pale tone and she has a smattering of freckles on her shoulders. She is rather thin but still has womanly curves. Her hair and eyes are both dark and nearly the same obsidian tone. It is only in the brightest sunlight that the umber tone in her eyes can be seen. She normally dresses in a long sleeved buttoned shirt with trousers and riding boots. Her hair is loosely pinned up on especially hot days.

Personality:
Solara is a hard worker with a good heart. She has a soft spot for animals, horses especially. She doesn’t believe in love any longer, not of the romantic sort. But it is really expected that she be doubtful of it given her history. She can be flirty on occasion but for the most part she is quiet and watchful. Not one to throw words about when they are unneeded. Actions speak louder than words.

History:
Solara’s mother was immortal and her father was an elven man. A fact that her mother did everything she could to hide. Her daughter took the immortal race which helped matters but rumors are always apt to fly. Solara and her mother had an alright relationship as she grew. Her mother was kind if reserved and perhaps a bit cold. But being of noble blood it wasn’t an uncommon attribute.
After her ceremony when Solara stopped her aging she met a kind elven man whom she quickly became attached to. He was handsome and friendly. She could talk to him about anything without fear of being judged. Things quickly grew serious between them.
If she had only known what would happen after her mother heard of the elven boy. He was nearly 150 years of age which was of course nothing to her mother’s immortal years. At this time Solara was still a young girl. Her mother told Solara of her own conception and instead of the truthful tale of how her elven father had fallen for another elf and left her mother before she knew she was pregnant. Her mother told her that her father had been a cruel elf that forced himself upon her, saying that now she couldn’t stand the site of them and that all elves were monsters.
Solara was shocked but tried to reason with her mother that the gentle man she loved could never do such a thing. A wicked smile had crossed her mothers face and she had stated very simply that she would kill the man if he ever returned. Solara had decided that she would go to him then so that his presence would not affect her mother. However on her journey she stepped onto a weak spot on the ground and fell down into an underground cavern. She was a little scraped up from the fall but overall she was alright. Until the hunger set in.
It was horrible at first but Solara kept telling herself that she would be alright. Someone would come looking for her. Either her lover or her mother. Unfortunately they both assumed she was in the care of the other. Time passed slowly. The small hole she had fallen through was eventually covered with limbs and leaves. Solara eventually fell asleep and nearly fifty years passed before she was awoken by another soul that stumbled upon the cavern. Thankfully with the two of them cooperating they were able to escape.

However much had changed in the span of fifty years. Her mother had mourned herself to death after the loss of her daughter and her beloved had fallen for another woman and now had a family. Time for Solara had stood still while the world continued on without her. It was hard to move on at first, she had lost them both in choosing one. But as time passed she moved on with her life. Using her mothers fortune to build a breeding and training facility for beautiful horses that would become a reliable source of income.

She was happy and while she hadn’t fallen in love again she did have friends and even flings that occupied her time. She threw herself into her work and soon became one of the go to stables for high quality horses amongst nobles and royalty in both immortal and human ranks alike.
