Magical Ability:
Sadly, he has no known ability. Even he is bewildered by this. Maybe this was because the Goddess of Darkness saw him unfit, or maybe it was because he was so worthy that he didn’t need to be blessed…

[break]
Appearance:
A silly looking man, Pierre is one that dresses in jester costumes during the day, and dark clothing during the night. Black hair and matching dark eyes, Pierre often makes funny facial expressions. He often uses gestures while he speaks or walks around with almost a comedic manner. He does not talk often so his expressions do most of the speaking for him. That is, along with his usual jokes and pranks.

Personality:
Quite the silly fellow, Pierre is one who usually keeps a smile on his face and keeping others entertained. When someone is down, he goes to cheer them up, even if it’s someone he’s supposed to kill as an assassin. He treats most situations light heartedly, always trying to make the best of things. As a jester he could rarely get into trouble for making fun of something of great importance… as long as it was funny.

History:
For over two hundred years, Pierre had been a jester. Where exactly he was born was uncertain, but from an early age he entertained friends and strangers with hilarity. He was a poor boy in the streets, alone as both of his immortal parents had died in the war. He lived off of coin he gathered by travelling throughout the Immortal Kingdom, telling jokes and playing antics that were guaranteed to give a laugh. Once he became an adult, gradually his reputation became more and more recognized, and eventually one day a nobleman approached him. From then on, he became a jester of the court, entertaining nobles, royalty, and guests alike. He finally made enough coin to buy a small cottage just outside of the castle, and retained a somewhat stable wage.

Sometime in his thirties he went to drink from the Spring of Immortality. As why he didn’t go through it sooner, perhaps it was that he was in no rush, but he suspected if he waited longer he would be too old to perform. He also thought that he would gain some magical ability or heightened senses when after he went through it that could possibly aid him with his performance. Once the ceremony was completed, the night after he went out to discover what his new powers could be.

Was it heightened speed? Strength? Vision? Foreseeing the future? Conjuring magic from his very hands? This he tried to find out. But he didn’t realize that he had wandered quite away from the palace, and into the dark alleyways that lurked with danger. While doing mock karate chops and randomly jumping into the air repeatedly, trying to discover what power lied within him, he bumped into a stranger. The man held a knife with him, and began to chase Pierre. The jester ran from him, and the man chased him around the building precisely three times, then Pierre changed directions, hoping that would change the course but he accidently came into contact with him. He then ran up the stairs onto an upper walkway that connected the buildings together. The man pursued, and once he reached the top, Pierre turned to run but there was a wall ahead, a dead end. With a surprised face, he turned around to meet his end. The man snickered, but Pierre gasped and pointed at the road below. The man fell for it, and the jester tried to take the knife away from him, but instead the man held tightly onto it, trying to keep him from taking it. The two struggled against each other, rocking back and forth, pushing each other. Pierre finally got the better grip, and smiled at his victory, but the man tripped back and fell off the edge, falling to his death.

He looked down at the dead man below, and was incredibly surprised. He went down to go check on him, still holding the knife in hand. Suddenly, he heard a voice, telling him well done. The mysterious figure applauded him in murdering the man, and knew that he was not easily recognizable, and killed the man with such silence that no one even noticed. The figure then wanted to hire him as an assassin, because they had more jobs in store for him. They even provided him with supplies to aid him with his tasks. Pierre could not protest, as they threatened him that if he didn’t agree they would take his life before disappearing back into the darkness. So of course he agreed, perhaps with a little nervous smile.

From then on, every night, Pierre would have a task, a target. However, inexperienced in the art of stealth and murder, he did not always succeed. Most of what happened during these nights usually consisted of antics and by sunrise, Pierre would have to run back to the palace for his daily job of being a jester. But he had an eternity to hunt them down, and, especially if they were of another race, their time was limited. Sometimes his victims died of accidental crimes, others, of old age, sometimes, they died in the hands of another but somehow it was attributed to him. His reputation began to spread throughout the lands. This is because the fascination of an assassin who only appeared by night and disappeared by day caught the attention of many. The truth got stretched, and eventually became fabricated lies and myths. He became known as a deadly murderer, an assassin without mercy. Many then became willing to pay him a large sum of coin to get rid of someone.

Currently, hardly anyone knows of his double identity, as it is the least expected. However he continued this lifestyle of being a jester by day and assassin by night for over the next two hundred years. He does sleep though, sometimes throughout the boring days in court, during the night when there are no targets to be taken care of, or when he thinks everything else is not important. This is why many wonder why he randomly falls asleep during his job.

Recently when he went traveling he ventured into the market place. They were carrying a large egg, presumably from a large mythical creature, but they didn't know what it was. Purchasing it because he was hungry, Pierre planned to make it fine soup. When he boiled the egg over the fire, it hatched, a little baby dragon hopping out onto him and licking his face. He couldn't eat it, for it was too adorable. He decided to name the dragon Soup, and kept her a secret ever since. She has grown up now, but Pierre does not know of the human form's dragons can take, only taking care of her as his own in her dragon form.
