Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ Larkin was quiet as Felix gave her more reasoning for his decision to send her home once it was all over. His sweet words making a bittersweet smile come to her face. "I understand, Felix. I don't blame you. Really." Even leaned against his chest her head moved to shake when he said he wasn't good company at times. "I always love seeing you." She said without hesitation. It not registering in her mind that perhaps he was referring to the more dangerous side of him. The side that had pushed her down on the steps and nearly bitten her neck. His next statement did't make sense to her and she pulled back just a bit so that she could see his face. "Tempt you?" She repeated after her with curiosity.
His last words made her go silent for a moment until a smile bloomed on her face. It was the greatest compliment she had ever received. Normally she was being criticized for being too quiet or asking rude questions. For not picking up on or reacting to social cues that others did. To hear that she actually made a difference to anyone made her feel special. "That is the nicest thing anyone has ever told me." She said while her blue eyes still studied his face. "I never really got to experience my were side before you took me. It was always something I needed to hide. Being around someone like me has been...freeing." Even if his beast was of an entirely different sort he was still a werebeast hybrid. He would still understand the struggles that a hybrid faced. Having no rights, no laws to protect them left them all vulnerable.
It would be hard to not shift again after living as a rabbit as often as she had these last few weeks. Maybe her brother would let her shift just inside the house? But given that they had staff who cared for their home she doubted it. Someone could see. "I do miss my brother, and Ives." Larkin was quiet for several beats before she spoke again. "But having you has made it easier...you don't make me hide what I am. And you protected me even when you were hurt. I don't...I don't even know if they searched for me." The thought was a painful one but she shouldn't think such things. Of course they had looked for her. Her blue eyes almost appeared to dull and Larkin looked down away from Felix's face.
"Did you hear anything in your travels?..." But maybe her brother would he happy to finally get rid of the family's dirty little secret. His little odd ball sister who hunkered in the spiraling library for days on end. No...no. Her brother wasn't like that. She was letting herself be negative and she needed to stop. She forced the sad thoughts away and looked up at Felix again. "Don't answer that. I don't want to know."
She snuggled into his chest again with a body wide shiver and sighed. "So warm..."

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"] It was words that hadn’t meant to come out no matter how true they were. She tempted him. She tempted him more than any other lady out there he had spent time with. Perhaps it was the control she made him feel the need to fight for. The courage she gave him to be a better person. He was more than comfortable around her and she made it easy for him to show affection. So easy in fact he ended up getting too close for comfort. ”Yeah…” but there was also another side to the temptation. There was the side that the wolf wanted and that was to take the rabbit and consume every bit of her. The dangerous side of the temptation that scared him for her safety against himself. ”I shouldn’t feel that way and I know I shouldn’t. but it feels good when you are around.” He was getting too used to that factor too. It was going to be hard when he didn’t have her to run to.[break] ”I shouldn’t have said that. Sorry.” He felt almost embarrassed that a little rabbit could do that for him. Almost like he should be ashamed at the power she gave him. [break] She soon said that she had never experienced her were-side and that it was something she had been scolded for back at home. His brows furrowed. He supposed he could see why since Hybrids were entirely frowned upon in most cultures. There wasn’t a single law that protected them and they were pretty much on their own when it came to things. If there world got torn apart… who cared? No one. He gave her a small smile and a nod of his head. ”You shouldn’t let someone control who you are.” he said. ”No matter if they are family. Stay true to yourself.” and he did his best to live by that also. He hated being a hybrid but it was who he was. ”Because whether you hide it or not you will always remain a hybrid. You will always be disapproved of.” He learned that the hard way as well. Once his Boss figured out he could turn into a wolf he took advantage of it and used the wolf – or tried to – to his advantage. The only bad thing about it was the wolf was highly unstable and didn’t listen to much command. The wolf had his own agenda and the boss wanted to keep such a thing close.[break] Her next set of words forced him to close his eyes and remain silent listening about Ives and her brother. She cared for them but he could hear it in her words that she wondered if they cared for her in return. ”I’m sure they were devastated.” he said though his voice held little to no emotion. He couldn’t speak for them nor could he speak of their actions. He wished he could. He wished he could give her some kind of comfort but he knew well he couldn’t. At her question he was quiet and right when he was about to answer it she stopped him. He nodded his head. ”You will see them soon.” he said and nuzzled her. He could still feel her shivering and it made him frown a little. ”Wish I could warm you up faster. Only way I know how is with direct body heat….. Skin to skin.”

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ His words made her smile, picked up her mood. She made him feel good, what a compliment. "I feel the same." She said happily. But the conversation inevitably turned again. He told her she would always be looked down upon. Something she already knew. But she wouldn't fight against what her brother wanted. Wouldn't make his life any harder just so that she could have something she wanted. It wasn't fair to him. She could survive not being able to shift. She had made it up to meeting Felix having only shifted a hand full of times in her long life. "I will try." She said softly, the best she could give him.
She leaned into him when he nuzzled her. Her blue eyes closing for a moment from the contact but at the words that followed they snapped open again. "Skin to skin?" She repeated dumbly. "As in...no clothes?"She shivered again and pulled the fuzzy towel tighter around herself. His skin was so warm. Even with the layers between them she could feel it. How would it feel without those barriers? She began to blush as she considered his words. She bit her lip that trembled from the cold and looked down at her lap. Her fingers working at the towel as she considered. "Alright." His words hadn't been an offer or question really but she took it as such.
She reluctantly released the towel so that it could fall around her. Trembling hands reaching down to pull her dress over her head with some wiggling. She didn't ask him to turn away this time. It seemed almost pointless given the whole snuggling factor. But as soon as her dress was gone she again grabbed her towel and wrapped it around herself. Bright blue eyes looking anywhere but as Felix as embarrassment flooded her. "So...if you...we can-" Her blush deepened and her words broke away. With how hard she was blushing she looked nearly pink.

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]She didn't sound too convinced with what he said but he supposed she would do what she wanted anyway. No less he figured he would give her some kind of advice and she could do what she wanted with it. "All that matters, I suppose." He said. his voice was warm and low as blue eyes gently closed as he leaned his shoulder into the side of the head of the bed. His body was relaxed for the first time in awhile. She was grounding him and he was pretty sure if she kept quiet any longer he would actually sleep. He hadn't been able to sleep since his mate pretty much made it clear she wanted nothing to do with him or their bond. No less her tiny voice caused blue eyes to open and glance down at her. "Wait-- what?" He was sure she would have completely denied him yet again but no the little bunny was now hesitantly starting to unclothe. Eyes stayed on her as she revealed her ivory skin and he could start to hear his heart thud in his ears. "you don't have to." he said though he was very much regretting those words the moment they exited his lips. Of course, he wanted her to but when it came to Larkin he didn't want to make her uncomfortable. Sure there was the usual making her blush but if it was something she didn't wanna do, he didn't like pushing the matter.[break]
She was bare to him now despite the towel now steadily skirting up her body again. His head tipped to the side and now it was his turn unlike her he had a shirt and pants. He supposed he would start off slow in case she did change her mind. He grabbed the ends of his shirt and tugged them up and over his head and pushed them off to the side. He leaned in towards her and gently peeled the towel away to reveal her skin. Tugging her in close to him, he wrapped his arms around her.

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ She could see him removing his shirt from the corner of her eye. Remembering back at the pond when she had stared at him like a fool she tried not to look. Tried, but didn't succeed. Her gaze inevitably wandered over to him but it was then that he pulled the towel away and Larkin froze. Her large eyes flicking quickly up to his face as a chill ran over her. But then she was being pulled against his chest. His warm inviting skin quickly erasing any qualms she had about the situation. She sighed against his collar bone and wriggled closer, impossibly so.
"This is nice." She nearly whispered. It was better than nice. It was some type of little warm pocket of heaven. Cautiously she let her fingers began to explore the planes of his chest. Slipping up to trail down the column of his neck. It was hard to believe that this man had been a stranger to her just a few weeks before. Having him as part of her life just felt...right. She acted without thinking about it. Leaning in to let her lips trail across his bare chest, her slender form pressing against his own in a way that was anything but innocent. But of course she didn't notice. She curled her legs up as much as she could so that they could touch his stomach, his pants creating a barrier between her and the delicious warmth. But she wouldn't as him to remove them. He must have had a reason for keeping them on. Maybe he was shy. That was a thought.
The soft graze of her lips moved upward to his neck where she had the strangest inclination to nibble, to feel his skin between her teeth. But she didn't. It could hurt him and she didn't want that. So instead she just pressed her lips against his flesh until she could feel the steady thrum of his heartbeat. Blue eyes closing as she lost herself in the exploration.

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]There were things that had nearly happened between them on several occasions and on those several occasions he had pushed himself back to a stop. He didn't want to lose himself in something that he couldn't dig back out of and with Larkin he feared that was a possibility. But much like he had told her moments ago... she tempted him. There had been only one woman who had tempted him other than her and it was a rather conflicting feeling. He knew why Lucia did. Lucia had a bond with him that he didn't entirely know what to do with and then there was Larkin. The little rabbit that could ground him with just a simple touch, a simple glance, a simple... whisper. She held a different type of bond with him one that was nearly unbreakable. She gave the human side of him power. Maybe that was where the temptation was steming from... to be honest he wasn't entirely sure.[break]
Even know as she began to explore he found himself not pausing this moment. Instead he let her explore. Her fingers leaving a trail of goose bumps, skin almost aching and arching towards her touch. Her lips felt like fire against his skin as they softly brushed along his chest... his collar bone... and then eventually his neck. His head only tipped a little bit as she pressed her lips into his neck and for a moment he wondered if she would bite. The mere thought sent an anticipation waving through every muscle in his body. His own fingers moved along slender curves of her body. Along her sides and into the hip bones. It wasn't long before he turned his head and eventually captured her lips with his own. There was a sense of control behind the kiss before eventually trailing off down her neck.[break]
He wasn't stopping this time. This time he was in for the long haul.[break]
[fade to black][break]
After the sheets had cooled He laid on his back and had his blue eyes closed, breathing those his nose to let his heated skin to start to cool down. His muscles ached but he felt a deep satisfaction. After a few moments, he turned his head and opened his eyes to look at Larkin. A quiet but praise of approving growl escaped up his throat as he murmured softly. "you still okay?" he had probably asked more than once through the process but it was one thing with a strong woman like Lucia and another with an almost breakable delicate Larkin. His were strength wasn't something always controlled. His fingers still itched to continue to explore the form he already devoured. Roving over hips and stomach as he watched her with a soft affectionate gaze.[break]
He was content and didn't feel the urge to take off like he had in the pool with Lucia. Then again Larkin hadn't denied him. Instead she was rather welcoming with whatever it was they did. He leaned back a little again as he inhaled through his nose. That was when it hit him. Something was off. Someone was near the cabin. "Larkin... Slip your dress on." He said softly not to give her too much alarm. He slipped away from her and grabbed up his pants and tugged them back on. He could feel his wolf bristling and baring his teeth and about that time the door broke opengiving away to a couple of men he nearly strutted in. "I told you he was hiding her here." one said giving the other a shove on the shoulder. "Grab the girl." Felix was quick of course to grab the one who attempted to head towards Larkin by the throat and shove him backwards. It was almost as if more of them seemed to start filing into the room and he backed up a bit. "don't let the wolf slip out." Another pipped up. "Grab him then the girl. Hurry it up." Almost in an instant two went for him and another went around them as Felix fought to grab the one heading for Larkin. "Don't you fucking touch her. Don't you dare." A snarl errupted from his throat as he fought agains tthe two holding him. A couple screaming at the other two to knock him out while they screamed they couldn't do that and h old on to him too. Finally a third entered the picture and gave him a couple punches and when that didn't work they gave him a blow to the stomach to quieten him down and another hard blow to the head.[break]
His world instantly went black, legs giving out underneath him forcing them to hold his weight.

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ She was finally warm. Her lithe body sore but in an oddly satisfying way. It had been wonderful and much more than Larkin had expected the act to be. She found herself still yearning for more and although she didn't act on it a tremor moved over her pale flesh at the touch of his hands. He had ask numerous times if she was alright and she smiled when he ask again. Lying on her side with her long ivory hair a messy pool around her. "I'm wonderful." She answered. Her blue eyes slipping shut as a tiredness sank into her bones. But then she felt Felix moving beside her, telling her to grab her dress. Without question Larkin did as he bade, the pale cloth sliding down over her hips at the same moment the men burst into the door. It all happened so quickly. Larkin fell back against the bed and crawled backward when the men came after her. Stretching her neck to peer around them where she could hear Felix yelling.
And then they started hitting him. She saw the painful arch of his body as a blow knocked the wind from his lungs. "No!" She yelled, trying to get past the men that were coming after her only to have one snag her slender arm and yank her back. "Felix! No! Why! Why would you hurt him! I would have went with you, I would have. Please just stop." It was readily evident then that not only had Felix kept one of the bosses girls but likely ruined her as well. This wasn't going to be good for any of them, the boss would be angry. And when the boss was angry it was always bad news. She tried to do the only thing she could to get them to let her go, she had to check on Felix. She had to. What if he was badly hurt? Using her ability she began to pull the assortment of books Felix had brought her off the shelves and various places around the house. Slinging them at the men, not blows to try to really hurt them. Just to stun them...just to make them let go.
One of them cursed when a book hit his shoulder, a large hand slamming into the back of her neck at an odd angle and in a strange manner that made her knees buckle. The last thing she saw before her consciousness slipped away was one of the packets of her favorite tea being stomped beneath a dirty boot. She was crying, she didn't even know when it had started but the tears leaking down her face to curl around her cheek on the wooden floor. How did it all go downhill so fast. Felix. She tried to speak but nothing came out. And then she sank into nothingness.
(End?)
