Appearance:

His wings. Djinn is of average height for a human male but being fae he is more slender and almost delicate in his appearance. He has two of the wings like above remaining sprouting from one side of his back. On the other the wings have been torn away, only small remnants of them remaining to twitch painfully on occasion when he has the urge to fly. His torso and arms are covered in a varied assortment of tattoos although few seem to have any true meaning beyond vanity. He has blue eyes that seem to shift to appear almost green when he's angered and his hair is of an umber hue. He generally dresses down in clothing that would seem unappealing to most. His motive of course is to remain unnoticed and his remaining wings are often strapped down so that they can lie beneath his clothing hidden.

Djinn is just your friendly neighborhood Robin Hood. He dislikes those who flaunt or abuse their wealth but for the most part he has a friendly easy going humorous nature. He uses sarcasm and jokes if he starts to feel sad or angry like a first offense. He has a tendency to be a little bit of a drunkard, although he never drinks before a planned heist. Some say its to numb the phantom pain of his missing wings, and some say he just likes that he can act like a fool without the repercussions of being sober.

History:

Djinn was an orphan of war times. His father died in battle protecting the forest and his mother in childbirth. He grew up on the kindness of others and among the fae even without his parents his youth truly wasn't horrible. He had aunts and uncles to depend on and cousins for companionship. His older sister flitted in and out of his life on occasion as well. As soon as he was old enough Djinn joined the war effort. But unlike many who served their people he found himself hired by a rich noble family concerned for their own safety. It was through them that his hatred for the cruel wealthy would begin.

With his conjured lance he sliced down any that ventured too close to the fae family's home. It was when a young orphaned child, much like himself stumbled upon their home in search of food that he saw just how deeply rooted their greed was. They demanded he kill the child lest it bring others to their home seeking protection. He of course refused and although the actual truth is unknown as to what may have transpired that day. Weeks later it would be discovered that the entire family had been slain. By who, no one knew. But Djinn was no longer in their service.

Once the war ended Djinn found his true calling in serving as a Robin Hood of sorts and not only for his people. But anyone he might be near at the time or someone in need that catches his eye. He generally keeps his wings hidden and goes only by the name Djinn. His sister would be the only one who knows his true name but it is likely after all this time even she has forgotten it.
