Lie to me, lie with me, get your fucking fix
Now all my drinks and all my feelings are all fucking mixedGray clouds were beginning to billow in the threat of a storm. The wind blew harshly against him, whistling in his ears. It was a tad bit annoying but if this hurried up he wouldn't have to be out here much longer. This was probably the stupidest thing he has had to do for a client. Sail all the way out to an abandoned island just to pass notes, show proof, and get paid?? Definitely hands down dumb. No less if he wanted to get a pay check it was up to the client after all. His choice wouldn't have been this one though. Standing on the sandy shore with his hands in his pockets, golden green optics stared down the beach line waiting for some kind of sign of life. He had heard stories of who ran these beaches and the sort of dirty deeds that went on here. His wolf deep in his bones was feeling some kind of pleasure being amongst the dirty side of the tracks but he as a whole had no true interest. It was crazy how some one as swept up in a criminal career didn't necessarily care for what it was he does. He didn't. It to him was just another paycheck but of course, even he had guidelines and a sort of code he wouldn't break. The wolf wasn't that much of an immoral being.
After finally see the woman step down from one of the buildings that laid in front of him, Romeo bent down to reach for the bag by his feet. With a steady confident pace, he moved to go towards her with a hard, unreadable expression. He didn't like people getting into his head especially clients. For him, this would be the last time he got into contact with this woman who wanted her poor cheating and abusive husband gone. "As promised." He said holding up the bag. A red hue was on the brown sake giving it a wet type of appearance. He had to say out of most of the people he took the lives of this man had the sweetest tasting blood. His wolf hadn't really wanted to give him up but he needed evidence after all. She smiled delightfully beneath her big sunglasses, a hint of a mark peeking out from the rim. "you are quite the hero, Sir." she exclaimed. He shook his head. "Far from it, Mrs. Far from it." He said as she held out the cash towards him in exchange for the bag. "I do hope you would take care of getting rid of that." he said nonchalantly turning on his heel from her. "Sharks will have a great meal." she said softly as he headed away.
And that was it. There was nothing further he needed from her. She held up her end of the bargain.
Pushing his boat back into the water he hoped on it not even once giving a look back towards the woman. It was like they didn't even know each other at this point and in his mind, they didn't. Fixing his sails he had the wind push him further out to sea and started his journey back towards the main land. The wind, of course, was going to give him some trouble. It wasn't a perfect day to be out on the water. The wind whipped the cords of the sail around and keen eyes stayed on it. He hoped he could at least get back to land before the storm hit.
It wasn't too long that land was beginning to be able to be seen and it also seemed like the perfect from for something to go wrong. The bag that held his pay in it was brushed off the boat as a big gust of wind burst through. "Damn it!" he quickly went to grab it almost tumbling off the boat. He lost a little bit of the cash in the water but luckily saved the majority of it. Pulling the wet bag back into the boat another gust of wind swiftly pushed through again causing the boat to rock and the cords to whip around. This was becoming bad. As he started to turn his attention towards the sails the wind whipped the sail the opposite direction knocking him in the head knocking him off the side of the boat. His world went back even though he could hear a distant ringing in his ears. Noelle Luna

you had a lot to say. no more talking.
Noelle had spent most of her day on land , lending a hand to her father on land. She hadn't known much about him or immortals really before she had finally met him. It was like the sea had her in shackles and she wasn't able to be her true free self. Her true free self was something that none of the other merfolk could understand , because she was a hybrid. She was misfit. She was a outcast. Anything name you think you could come up with her for lack of purity had probably already been used. Even though she was apart of the court she still was treated less then. Her own mother didn't even address her in public and that definitely meant the king her uncle didn't care for her as much either. Sure they had a little love in their hearts for her , but not enough where they would have their positions questioned by others. She had heard that this had been the way of hybrids since they first come to exist. And she was not surprised. When she was younger it would bother her , now she just let it roll of her shoulder. For as long as she could remember she'd been hating herself. For months, for years, her entire life she hadn't given herself a break. She was so guilty, everything terrible that happened to her or anyone around her was so obviously her fault. Because she was wrong. Because she did wrong. Because she would never, ever be as good as she needed to be. That had been Noelle's mental state before. That was before the drink she had during her ceremony to become immortal. Who knew if she would live forever ? She sure as hell didn't but she was blessed with the gift of empathy.
When you're little, you have all the endless opportunity you could ever want. There are a million different ways your life can go, you hold that power and only you can decide which direction you will take. Grow up, fall in love, live happily ever after. Its what we all imagine, what we all hope for. The older you get, the less you have of that. You make decisions that will forever impact your happily ever after. You don't plan the falling out of love, the pain, the hurt that life throws in just because it can. But it happens, and there isn't a thing you can do about it. You move on, you live, you try your best to keep that happy ending within sight. Except for some people, life tosses them so much loss that they forget about that ending. ( Even though Noelle could come across as hard and standoffish.) As cheesy as it sounded she tried to keep her eye on happiness that she deserved like everyone else. So even if that meant she didn't yearn for her mother to build a relationship with her , if that meant ignoring people and not worrying about the talk behind her back. That was what needed to be done. Without using her power she learned how to heal her mental state enough to where she complained less and did more to make her happy. She didn't care to make others happy but changing herself anymore.
Noelle had said goodbye to her father as she dove into the water , even though she hated how her people treated her. She loved the water. Al those months she had been away , now she couldn't get enough of it. She had been in the sun for most of the day , so the water was refreshing on her skin. Her bright orange tail moving swiftly through the water trying to get home. In the distance she could see something dropping in the water. It wasn't natural ,she was sure it wasn't swimming. It could have been just another stupid sailor , falling into the water. Rolling her eyes softly , usually she would leave them to fend for themselves but this time she didn't. Swimming faster until she got close enough to reach a hand out to grab him. For her figure Noelle was strong , a lot of it due to the fact that she was also immortal. Looking down to see what creature could have possibly gotten themselves in this mess she was shocked to see Romeo. Brushing her lips against his quickly , it wasn't one of intimacy but one that was going to save his life. She hadn't known how long he was under , so that had been the best option. Her kiss would last a day or so , but she hardly thought they needed that time. She saw a few more things falling , perhaps things he had dropped. So with her arm wrapped around him and with her free hand she collected the things that had fallen and placed them in his pockets. He had a knot on his head , as her green eyes scanned over him. With a sigh , she started to swim towards her home that was to far off.
Approaching the home you can tell that it was for someone of importance , it had once been a eventful home that her mother held parties at. Now it was Noelle's to keep her out of the city as often as they could. Opening her door , her housemaid looked at her with Romeo in her hands. Noelle shrugged and motioned her to follow her to the guest room. She placed Romeo down on a guest bed as she asked her housemaid for the herbs to help with whatever injury he had. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she watched her bow and exit the room. She didn't know what it was about the creature , that gave her the shakes. He sent electricity through her body and the only reason why she had bothered to help him was because ... he was who he was. Even though he had annoyed her their last meeting , towards the end it seemed nice enough. She brushed his hair out of his face , sitting next to him. " Wake up. Your not dead are you ? You can be I see your chest moving. ", everything she was saying was light because she didn't want him to think that she was being a ass. She was legitimately worried about him , as her hand ran from his head to his cheek softly.

<3 NOTES LOVELY NOTES WONDERFUL NOTES THAT ROCK MY SOCKS | The knock to the head was a great one. He could vaguely remember feeling hands on him and being pulled through the water around him. He also vaguely remembered being able to suddenly breathe though there wasn’t a sign of actual air around him. It was a weird feeling. A complex feeling.
His mind was buzzing in and out of being aware and unaware. Where was he? Who was with him? Golden optics steadily started to open hearing the soft but very familiar voice of a mermaid he had met once before. One he soon couldn’t forget. How could he? She was the very woman he had dreamt about. The woman he tried to draw so many times but could never even begin to give her justice on paper. Eyes soon rested on that face and a small flicker of a grin started to wander to his lips. ”There you are.” He said quietly. ”I thought I had lost you.” His head was still very throbbing and he obviously wasn’t entirely aware of what he was saying. He supposed he thought it was a dream but no… he was actually starting to come back to the real world. The real world in which he was under the sea.
It took his brain a moment to really register things and that was when it kind of hit him. He wasn’t dreaming. He was wide awake and where he was was not on land. He pushed his body forwards with ease and brows furrowed for a moment as he took in his surroundings. ”Wait. This isn’t normal. Where am I? Am I drowning? I'm dead, right?” his eyes shot to Noelle. He wanted to move but he was afraid to. Suddenly it was like the notion of how to swim was completely lost to him. ”I need to be on land! I can’t breathe down here!” A freak out was steadily starting to overtake him, panic, sheer panic. ”Why are you trying to drown me, Noelle? I know I was an asshole but this is a little far, don’t you think? I didn’t actually do anything to you.” He was almost scrambling obviously not coming to the actual realization that he was breathing perfectly fine and he was not in harm’s way.

you had a lot to say. no more talking.
There wasn't a lot of people that Noelle actually cared about , those were few and far in between. Growing up it was hard for her to trust , it was hard for her to feel like she could put trust into someone. All the damage that her mother had done , had rolled over into Noelle's now adult life. She managed but she was still some kind of outcast. Not only was her mother unwed when she had her but she had also had her with a immortal man. She had picked her position in court over helping being caring and nurturing to her daughter. Her only daughter. She knew her mother felt guilty but that didn't replace everything she had been missing in life. It didn't replace the person that should have been shielding her from the world , because the world didn't care for hybrids. They were a lot that had no respect and it was even harder for her to gain it. She was far to old now to beat the respect into someone , so all together sometimes she came across as off putting and rude.
He started to speak and her green eyes rested on him as she listened. Red flushing her cheeks as she looked down , that wasn't something that happened often. She was never bashful . but neither did she get too many compliments or someone wanting her around. " You'd never lose me. I'm always near." , she said with a tone that you wouldn't mistake her words for anything but true. She placed her hands on either side of him , turning her body to face him. Her bright orange tail moving gently in the water. He couldn't have been completely to because he was hardly be a jerk to her. Neither was he making fun of her and it didn't seem like he had the guard he usually had with her up. "I'm going to get you better. You trust me ?" , her words were soft but firm at the same time as she eyed him for a moment.
Romeo hadn't been fully awake as he started to panic. Every time she would began to answer , he would be to freak out. " Not normal ? For who>" , she joked lightly. She tried to make a joke to put him at ease but she knew that it wouldn't probably work. Noelle waited for him should to finish before she parted her lips this time to speak. " This is not me trying to drown you , if that were the case the last thing you would have heard was the siren's song. And how would you be able to talk to me right now if you were .... indeed drowning or I was trying to kill you." , she asked him calmly. " just let me get you better and then you can go back on the boat you obviously fell off of. Then you can leave me be since you think I'm some kind of monstrous killer mermaid." , you could tell by the way she spoke that she had been offended. Her green eyes now looking away , moving her body shifting away from him.
"You get a kiss , you can breathe under water for a while." , she as she explained. Shaking her head , her hair falling over her face.

TAGGED OUTFIT NOTES LOVELY NOTES WONDERFUL NOTES THAT ROCK MY SOCKS | The panic was obvious since he was a land dweller not at all from the sea. So when she spoke his brows furrowed a bit. ”for a being who lives on land!” Though the situation was very stressful for him and probably not really all the understandable for her. The water was her home. She could go between land and water… He only had land unless he really wanted to try and drown. However the situation seemed to start taking a shift as she spoke once more. So maybe he was being a bit irrational. If he stopped and thought about what he was actually doing and not let his human mind take matters into its own hands he would note very well he was actually perfectly fine.
Brows furrowed at her tone before he closed his lips and tightened them into a thin but thoughtful line. ”Sorry… Noelle. It’s just a lot to take in.” There he goes again. Doing something that was entirely unlike him. Since when did he apologize to her? ”You aren’t a monster and I don’t see you that way. I promise.” He said once more. He just had to relax or at least force himself to relax.
”A kiss can do that?”

you had a lot to say. no more talking.
If she'd grown to understand why her parents left her, to stop blaming herself, to move forward, she would have been fine and life would have proceeded the way it ought to have. But she didn't, of course. No, she had to run that one fault in her life over and over in her mind until it seemed to be the only thing in her life. And we all know guilt is a powerful emotion. Her mother would know that. She felt like being a hybrid , was a curse. Society had painted her to be some kind of - burden and she had took on the weight of that. When people figured out what she really was , they didn't want anything to do with her. That was one of the major reasons she didn't let people in. That was the reason she was standoffish , that was the reason she didn't want anyone being close to her. Those feelings were strong enough to press you so far over the edge you'll never get back. And that it did to Noelle. Instead of facing her flaws, she ran from them, thus causing so many more, and catching her in a never ending circle of this thing called guilt. And she never got away from it. She never told anyone how she really felt , she never really spoke about her feelings. If it was one thing her mother had taught her , was that feelings were for the weak. So she never showed them. He answered her by saying people on land and she nodded confirming he was right. He had just been knocked out and she could see why he was in a panic , this wasn't something that he was use to. It wasn't something she couldn't relate with however , that slipped her mind. She could walked from land and swim in the sea as freely as she wanted to. For her both were normal , for him it wasn't. " I should have thought of that.", she spoke honestly. " I didn't mean to scare you , I was trying to take care of you. If something happened to you and I've could've done something. I do not know , what I would do. " , she spoke truthfully again. Pressing her lips together. She was saying to much , her green eyes resting on him again. Looking him over.
He reassured her that she was no monster and she laughed gently. " To you I am not, to the world I may as well be." , a smirk settled on her lips. "I really do try to keep you at a safe distance from me , but this time you fell right into me." , her tone was neutral. As she brushed her hair out of her eyes. He asked if a kiss could do that and she nodded. " Yes , a kiss can do that. Depending on the mermaid , depends for how long. Its not a forever thing , just a temporary thing." , she nodded as she spoke/ " What were you doing getting yourself tossed in the water like that ?" , she asked him. As she spoke her housemaid came in to give her the bowl she needed , her tail pushing her faster against the water. Everything in the water was a lot more graceful then it was on land. " Thank you Priscilla. Romeo this is Priscilla , Priscilla Romeo. " ,she wasn't going to be rude. "Nice to meet you sir. I will be excusing myself now. " with a slight bow she left the room again. In the same hurry she was in when she came into the room. "So are you going to let me help or not. You can take these herbs and they will help over time. Or you can let me use my empathy and I can make you forget the pain. Either way you'd have to trust me. " , she wiggled her eyebrows with the same smirk on her lips. " By the way some of the stuff you dropped out of your boat ? I guess. I put them in your pocket. And when you feel up to it , we can find your boat. It shouldn't be that hard. If you remember where you were coming from/" , she added. Holding the bowl in one hand. Her free hand by his side. [/span][/div]

| Despite what she probably thought he didn’t really like being harsh with her. For some weird reason he felt like he should be tender, warm, and soft spoken. Though she was no lover of his there was a draw much like a moth to a flame. He didn’t quite understand it other than she was making it so easy for him not to hate her. Like most people he could brush off meetings but with her, she stuck to him. ”I’m all for being cared for.” he rubbed his head quietly. ”But being underwater is an entirely new experience. I’m a land…. Animal. I don’t go between both.” needless to say the wolf in him was very upset, panicking, and doing it best to not break out of the mental cage he kept it in. That was easier said than done. Though he was doing perfectly fine breathing he still felt the instinct to try and suck in air. ”It’s just trippy and I can’t say I like the feeling. So … let’s… get whatever it is you want to do and get me back to land. Please.” He didn’t really like feeling helpless. It was an incredibly terrible feeling. He was a man that held most control over things and having absolutey none was terrifying. If she wanted to take that gift she gave him away he would drown. He didn’t know where he was and which way was out. Much like in the horror movies he would probably die the moment he was about to reach surface.
Eyes watched as she moved effortlessly in the water. It was a very rhythmic grace to watch as she pulled herself along. Another mermaid had come to the room and handed whatever it was that Noelle asked for before excusing herself on out of the room after introductions. ”I was sailing.” he said. It wasn’t a lie. He was sailing it was just that he didn’t tell the whole truth that he was doing dirty deeds on a separate island. Reaching into his pockets he felt the items that were likely ruined now from being water logged no less she didn’t need to worry about that. ”Thank you.” Though she was probably better off just leaving it to the ocean. ”I was coming from the eastside near that one island. I suppose trying to go out in an oncoming storm was a bad idea. Hm?” he said. ”But to be fair it wasn’t bad out until I turned to start back.” Looking to the things she had he then pointed to it. ”So… What are you going to do with that?”

622 words notes: sorry it took so long A PERFECTLY CONSTRUCTED ALIBI It had been long ago when she had her first experience on land and even though it seem like decades ( because it was ) she remembered her land legs. She looked like a fawn , she was clumsy and wasn't able to get her balance. It took days before she understood how to use her legs. It was something that she had learned from her housemaid , who was a lot older then she was at the time. Even at that time it took hours for her tail to turn into legs and it had been more of a burden to her to come from the ocean to the land. The older she got however , the faster she could change. So part of her understand why he was freaking out , he was a beast. He didn't belong down here , even though him accusing her of trying to kill him was still hurting her a bit. Noelle would never hurt Romeo ( not on purpose anyway ) , ever since the day she met the werebeast she couldn't get her mind off of him. She felt this feelings she hadn't felt before , she didn't know what to do with them.
Romeo told her that he was a land animal and not someone that dwell in the sea. She nodded her head in an understand motion , her hazel eyes resting on him as she looked him over. Her lips pressed together , biting her tongue from saying what was on her mind. Which for the past few weeks had been him - he had been the only thing on her mind and it was like some kind of addiction that had been taking her over. "Since your so nice about it , I can take you back to land" , she rolled her eyes jokingly. I know that this is making you .... sick ? Is that a word for how you feel ?" , she asked him as she tilted her head to the side.
He told her that he had been sailing and she looked at him , it was a condensing glance as she smirked. " Not smart at all. The sea is unforgiving for land creatures. Some days are better then others but its very risky thing to do." , she told him. " Anything could have happened to you , what if I hadn't come along ? I wish you'd give me a heads up or something when your going about things like that. Then I can be prepared for your boat attacking you." , she ended her f rant with a light joke. What is she had gotten to him too late ? She shook the thought out of her head , she didn't want to think about such things. She had been right where she was suppose to be and she wouldn't think about anything else.
He asked what she was going to do with the bowl in her hands and she looked at him. " Just place it on the wounds. " , she said as she motioned for him to sit up. Placing the cool mix of herbs on him. " Now are you ready ? We can go back now. The pain should go away in a few moments. I don't think that you can actually swim though , so you can hold on to me you want. Around me waist or you can hold me hand if you want. Whatever you feel more comfortable with. , she offered him option. She was so close to his face she could feel the heat radiate off of him. Her breathing slowed , trying to push herself back slowly.

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]There was a definitely bond there that he couldn’t quite explain and it happened the moment he laid eyes on her. It was almost like everything snapped into place. What was once confusing suddenly was all clear and it scared him. He had never felt that way before. He had never felt such a strong connection with someone he barely even knew and yet here he was with this mermaid, feeling as though he could fully devote himself to her. It was strange and he naturally fought against the feeling at how easy it was to do. Most things he questioned but not twice had he questioned it about her. Why? What made her so different than the others? What made her so appealing to him that he couldn’t figure out why on earth she stuck with him so hard.[break] As she spoke he gave her a small but uneasy smile and nodded his head gratefully. ”I would appreciate it, Noelle. Sincerely.” he knew he was in no position to act like a jackass. She had control down here. This was her turf and as a wolf he knew what that meant. It meant her territory, her rules. There was no bargaining or fighting for dominance it was what it was. As she spoke about being under the water was probably making him feel sick, he nodded his head. It wasn’t quite the word but it was close enough. She soon started on about how he should have said something and he couldn’t help but chuckle a little. ”I would almost think you were worried about me.” he was teasing her ebbing at her naturally in a playful manner. ”There is a softer side to this mermaid after all. Hm.” He let her do her thing as she placed it on his forehead. He expected some kind of sting but instead it had a very cooling effect to it. As she now looked at him and asked if he was ready to go he nodded. Leaning forwards, he grabbed her by the waist. ”Lead on.”

622 words notes: sorry it took so long A PERFECTLY CONSTRUCTED ALIBI Noelle didn't have too many connections with people - she didn't have those kind of relationships with anyone. Not to know them on a true personal level. Her housemaid , who had brought her up and she had just gotten to really know her father. Those were the only people that she really allowed to get close to her. When she had met Romeo she had this instant connection with him , that she didn't know how to deal with. She didn't know what to do. He made her speechless at times , his personality matched hers so much that he could even go toe to toe with her. Even after they had argued it didn't make her want to get rid of him , she craved him. She wanted him around and she hated that feeling , but she couldn't get rid of it. There was something about Romeo that made her want to be around him. This also scared her. She didn't want to get close to someone and then they throw her away. That was a fear she probably developed as a child because of her mother.
She had been a healer for decades now , it was something that had come natural to her oddly enough. Even though she wanted to stay away from creatures , she also wanted to help them. Just building a relationship part was something she stayed away from. She listened to him as she smoothed the herb mixture over his head and then he was ready to go. He wrapped his arms around her waist and she shivered a bit without some thought. She placed her hands where his rested for more security before she made her way out of her home. Once she was able to leave home she was really free to swim in the open waters. She wasn't around much and no one else would see her. That was the last thing she needed.
Swimming faster was understate for Noelle , she was a fast swimmer. Faster then most ocean animals. Her tails pushed them through the water as she made her way to the surface and towards where she believed his boat to be. It didn't take her long before they were above the surface again , just a few feet away from his boat. " Here ! And you made it." , she joked with him as she moved close enough to the boat for him to get back into." Try not to fall in anymore. I can't be here to save you all the time." , she teased.
She watched carefully as he climbed into the boat once he got a chance to. She brought her face up close this his. " Romeo , can I ask you something ?" , she asked him.

| It all happened incredibly fast. Being underneath the water and then swimming to the surface. He was happy about it at least to finally be above the waves and spot something solid. Once she got him close enough he pulled himself up onto the boat and nearly toppled in and breathed heavily. It was almost like he had just finished running but in reality, it was just the fear coming to a head. He liked water but he wasn't a big fan being under water. "I'll try my best." he laughed. The storm had blown over and what was left now was just grey skies with rays of sun peeking through every now and then. A soft breeze swept through making the sail whip and make noise. Yes, land... this was where he belongs. He didn't know how mermaids did it. How the pressure of all that water didn't make them at least the tinest bit crazy. Maybe it was just different for them because their bodies were built for it? He wasn't entirely sure.
He did know for a fact that he wanted no part of it again. That world was going to have to be a complete mystery to him unless of course, Noelle was nice enough to tell him. "You could if you stuck around me long enough." he quipped lifting up and looking over the edge at her. It wasn't a feasible thing really. You couldn't be around a person all the times no matter who you were but the scary aspect of the matter was. This at all didn't bother him. What could something like that mean? Why was it so infuriatingly easy to be around her?! He was pulled from his thoughts when she spoke up again this time she was lingering on a question. "About what?" he asked carefully. Truthfully anything coming from Noelle was unknown territory. She could ask a very plausible question or a very strange one.

622 words notes: sorry it took so long A PERFECTLY CONSTRUCTED ALIBI He said that she could if she stuck around him long enough , she furrowed her brows a bit. Biting down on her lip she wanted to say that she wanted to , but she didn't want him to know how he made her feel. She wasn't even sure how he made her feel. She just knew she got anxiety when she wasn't around him for longs period of time. She couldn't tell him that he had been on her mind constantly since the day that they met. Romeo was different from anyone else that she knew and she was afraid of that. Noelle asked if she could ask him something , her green eyes resting on him with a softness he probably hadn't seen from her before.
Pulling herself closer , she shrugged. Nothing, she breathed. Her lips hovering over his. She wanted to ask him everything that was on her mind but she couldn't pull herself together to do so. In a quick second she pressed her lips against his , before lowering herself back in the water. I'll see you soon. , she laughed as she raised a eyebrow. And she was sure that she would find the werebeast somewhere soon. That was something that was always on her list. Look for him.

| He sat there waiting to her what could possibly be asked. It felt like ages as she kept him waiting almost on pin and needles. He leaned a little more on the side of the boat as water dripped from his hair. About to part his lips and ask what she was going to say she quickly covered her tracks and said it was nothing and then proceeded to press her lips into his own.
He was stunned at first but he didn't pull back. Instead he went a little stiff not really expecting such a bold move. It was quick, short, and sweet and not nearly enough time for him to properly return it. As she pulled back and settled into the water the wolf tipped his head to the side. A slow but humored smile pressed itself onto his lips. "If you wanted a kiss all you had to do was ask me." He said. "instead of trying to be all smooth pretending you had a question." he snorted softly as he sat back at little.
She soon started to move from the boat and make her way off but he had a question of his own. "Hey! wait." he sat up. "I have a question of my own." He tipped his head a bit. He couldn't believe he was about to ask this, it wasn't really his style but well --- here goes nothing. "There's a ball getting ready to go on in the Emberi Kingdom. You wanna go with me?"

He said that she could have asked for a kiss instead of being smooth , Noelle burst in a fit of laughter. Her green eyes shining with amusement and curiosity. " You are right , I could've asked but if I did then I would have to wait for your reply. What if it was a no ? I can't handle rejection well you know?", she joked lightly even though a bit of that was true. She didn't know how he felt about her , she didn't know if he would say yes to a kiss that was a simple as the one she just planted on him. He wanted to ask her something and she tilted her head to the side. Her green eyes rested on him as she quirked a eyebrow as she waited patiently. Her tail gracefully moving from side to side in the water. He asked her to a ball and it was her turn to be caught off guard. She was always expected to go to the balls in the merfolk kingdom but that was only for face value. She was a member of the court but barely and she never had fun. Biting down on her lip , she nodded first "I will go. Yes. " , it sounded like she was trying to reassure herself. This was different , that meant he would be seen with her. Was he sure what he was asking. She hoped he didn't change his mind after asking her. I'll have to get ready somewhere on land though. , she spoke softly. " Because of you know... all the water. , she joked lightly.
[end. off to the ball!]
