Falling to the ground she least expected to see the black fur stemming out from him as her wings were pinned down by his grip. Her original plan of flying to safety wasn't going to save her now. And now he was going to kill her. She thought he could be reasoned with, she had tried. But now as the fangs attempted to reach into her skin without realizing what she was doing her first instinct was to curl her hand into a fist and to aim directly at the mouth which had attacked her. She couldn't even see as she had landed on the ground, her head turned as her eyes closed. It was a blind hit, but perhaps one that would direct a blow to the incoming threat. Her legs also immediately kicked forward, to try and get the body off of her as he so shifted. She was trying to fend off the wolf. But still, but still... there had to be something she could do for him. She couldn't die here like this. She had to find some way that the wolf wouldn't want to kill her. What did the wolf want...? He said that she didn't care for him. Didn't know him. But even if he didn't know it, she did. That part of Felix's mind that was so abandoned. Or maybe it was a spell casted by a witch when he was young. But the prior sounded more likely. She cared for everyone. Everyone deserved a chance for love. For being loved. Even if the wolf was an individual of his own right, he still deserved happiness. Or maybe it was the feeling of doubt that was making him exist in the first place. Maybe it was the feelings within Felix bottled up all along. But she wouldn't know. And she wouldn't be able to find out if she had died. Though the wolf didn't answer her question. If they all died, what is it that he wanted. But... it seemed to make sense now. Independence. Perhaps if he didn't want a half a bargain, maybe there was some way they could be independent of each other... or even a hope to at least. Though this plan was risky, she didn't know what would happen, maybe there was still hope to get to know the wolf for what he really was.
She crouched her arms up over her head as she turned it to the side more, facing the floor as her eyelids shut even tighter, preparing for the onslaught. He could have her forearms, but to shield her face and neck from his deathly grasp. "I do care!" she protested in a high squeal, despite the fact that she was going to get chewed to pieces. "I want to know you! So let me in!" she yelled, hoping to get through to him. "I-I think I know a way, to get you separated from Felix!" She hoped that this would work. She honestly did. It may not even be all that much of a lie, in fact it might even be realistic, considering she did know mages at Lledrith. Despite the fact she didn't want to try this, and that it may seem as a lie on her part, it may be possible. The wolf couldn't kill everyone. Even to break Felix, to gain full control of him, but he couldn't hope to even succeed. Even if he killed her, he couldn't kill everyone in the world. That would be impossible, even for him. But she was beginning to understand him now, or so she thought. To be locked away. To not see the light of day. To have someone else control your movement. How devastating. Even if it was all in one's own mind. Though if this was the root, for the cause of the wolf for being evil, then... then she would have to try and stop it. She didn't think this was the right way. She wanted Felix to realize that this was him. But maybe she was wrong. Maybe there really was two entities living inside one body. Maybe it was magic, maybe it was his spirit. Who knew.
"...physically." She hoped that he would stop attacking her now, and actually listen. Even if he didn't, she would continue to try talking to him anyway. The wolf had to listen. He was a sentient being. Even if he was bloodthirsty. "I know mages at Lledrith. There are some that could help." An exact name didn't come to mind, or even anyone who'd agree to help her with this mad plan of letting loose a beast that might threaten them all. But if he was separated from Felix, to have full control, that would prevent him from wanting to kill people, right? "There are also elves who have spirit magic. I know they can help as well. Please wolf, I want to set you free... I understand how rough it must be... to be trapped in there like that... But they won't help you on your own. Let me help," she tried to coerce him. Perhaps that it was true that they would listen to her rather than him. A wolf that would threaten their demise and they would die not being able to help. There had to be a way for all of this to work peacefully. "I know a few individuals who I can talk to," she made careful use of her words. Of course she wouldn't name them so he'd kill her and go after them. But in her mind a few names were already coming up. "If you just... hold on a little longer... you can be set free..." She hoped that he'd listen. She could do so right away but not when he had her pinned down. Ready to eat her. And she couldn't do so if she was dead. "I promise." Well, she would, if the wolf genuinely wanted that. Felix might not have wanted that, but that was a bargain she was hoping for. Who knows maybe it would even help him in the long run, to never worry about the wolf again. Though maybe the wolf would need time to think about it. But she hoped that he would make haste. "Even if you kill me... You can't... you can't kill every single person. That won't set you apart from him. Why wait for him to lose everything he hangs onto? You could be free now." Her voice was firm. Perhaps she was growing genuine of actually wanting to help him. Hoping that this would be the right way. "I need you to talk to me, wolf. I need your answer. Though maybe you need time to think about it." A risky endeavor. He could kill people before he returns. He could even outright kill her. But that was a risk she was willing to take. A wager on her life.
"I know... you are not him. I'm sure that you are a great being. You just... you just need help... getting out of there... so that people can see that," she then spoke softly, finally meeting him with dark eyes.

Muscles rippled beneath his dark coat as he used his chest to push in and forward. Lips were peeled back as far as they could go showing slobbery large fangs that wanted to piece flesh for a ruby red splash on his tongue. He wanted to taste her. His front paws swam in the air as claws tried to grasp onto something and help him pulled closer. She was talking but he wasn’t listening, his yellow eyes were transfixed on her face that mirrored bloodlust. ”Don’t worry Eriu I will make sure it hurts a whole lot.” he said nearly talking to her as he fought against her defenses. ”I will make sure you feel every tear! Every sever.” he snapped his jaws as vicious growled echoed attempting to drown out her reasoning. He didn’t want to listen to it, he didn’t want her to try and get in his head and make him question what he was doing. This was finally his chance! This was his moment! He had been waiting for this for so long and he had to take it, he had to rip her life from her soon to be lifeless body.
Yes. yes. Yeees!
As she yelled about letting her in, his pupils almost pulled tightly into a zeroed strain. ”Yes, how about you let me in.” He shouted the words right back at her. He, of course, wasn’t at all talking about what she was. He was more or less telling her to let her defenses down so he could feast on her writhing alive body. ”I want to drain you, fairy. I don’t want your help.” He was not trying to hop on his back legs pushing himself up and trying to bound over but her fingers were in tight in his black coat. Despite in the position of her being helplessly pinned with her wings and unable to fly….. She held on to him tight. Her fingers were digging into his fur and skin and held on with every push, every shove, ever advance he tried to make to get in closer. Her skin was calling him, it was far too perfect and milky he needed to mar her beautiful complexion.
But the more she fought the louder she got and it was only then something seeped in that caused him to stop his advances, nearly being held up by her as she kept her arms as a physical distance between them. ”Apart.” He knew this wouldn’t actually work. There was no way as he was not his own physical being as much as he wanted to believe he was. He was no sad soul trapped inside one body with another person. The only difference between him and Felix was that he was darker -- the dark side of who the human was. A personality that happened to form because of the abuse and mental torture the hybrid had put himself through and that others had done to him through the years. Being a hybrid was not easy. People judged harshly and so the dark side clung to the animalistic side. His ears suddenly pinned to his skill and he snarled. ’You are lying! Don’t lie to me to save your own skin, Fairy.” He purposely didn’t use her name. As if trying to point out she wasn’t getting to him and that she meant nothing to him. She wasn’t reaching him. He wouldn’t let her. ”You are saying that to get him to stop. You are trying to distract me!” He snapped at her wrists them to try and get her to pull away from him but he found the desire was waning.
What if it was possible?
He finally backed off and shook his head side to side and growled. His lightning yellow eyes growing hard. ”Just stop it! Stop it stop it stop it!” He said again. She was persistent though she kept saying she knew some people who knew that kind of magic and who could help him separate from Felix. Though to be honest he wouldn’t separate. He would take over. This would be his chance to not only destroy the people who cared for him but as he cared for but he could take the whole being of who Felix was and rip it apart. Only one of them could exist. He would be sure of it. ”You want him to be swallowed up then?” he asked. ”You realize that doing so he may actually be gone forever and you willing to take that risk.” his lips rose up in a wolfish grin. ’What’s in it for you?”

"I'm not lying!" she protested as the wolf continued his onslaught. But after a few moments, she could feel the snapping at her wrists. Yet she tried to move them, to try and prevent him from hurting her. He had to listen! He must! But he slowed... as her eyes shut tight she could feel him getting off of her. She could no longer feel the fur as he moved away from her. Eriu's eyes opened as she then sat up, looking at him as he told her to stop. Now that he was off her she could run. She could escape him. But no, she would remain there. She would be firm. She had to be brave. She had to remain there. She looked at him seriously. "No, I will not stop," she said determinedly, her face unyielding. She continued to look at him with the same expression in her dark eyes, willing to talk it out with him. He had to listen. She had him continue to let her in. But the next thought caused her to look at him in surprise. Swallowed up? Gone forever? No, that's not what she had in mind. She meant like... physically separating them. But if it was the thought of one taking over or the other... she supposed she would have to let the wolf have his way. Or at least, let him think he did. Her eyes narrowed again.
"I am," she spoke challengingly. The next question wasn't so hard to answer. "I want Felix to be free. I want you to be free. Whatever that means, if this is solved once and for all, I will be happy. Knowing that Felix will finally be himself again. Without any conflict within himself." She looked at him directly, knowing that she was speaking to the true Felix, one that was him as a whole. He had to understand that he was himself. The wolf and the immortal were one and the same. She gazed directly into those frightening yellow eyes. They glowed with unnatural hues, but she faced them head-on. In fact, were they not so intent on killing her, perhaps she would think they were beautiful. Or maybe they were. Though the wolf had only been characterized with those eyes. Would the true Felix have them if this was solved? It was a wonder.
"I know Felix is strong. If it's a fight you two must have, I believe in him. At the same time, I want what is best for you, wolf. Only the body can decide who is the true victor, the one most deserving for its host," she said with an evened tone. In the end, they would both win, even if they didn't realize it. Though, maybe her previous idea of splitting them wasn't so bad either... but if the wolf was convinced that one of them had to win, then that meant that he knew that he was one person... right? She continued to sit there, showing the wolf that she wasn't in it just for her own life. She was there to do it for him. Felix. But what will the wolf do now, since she had offered to find people? She assumed that he would want her to begin searching right away. "I can contact those I know," she then spoke, slowly rising from her spot. "We can find someone that can do it," she said, her eyes still remaining on him. She then stood, slightly injured but nothing too bad. "Then this will all be settled once and for all. I want to help you wolf, but I also want to help Felix." Those were her last words on the subject.
She then asked a dangerous question. "Are you hungry?" The fae then moved to the kitchen, wondering what she could possibly have for a wolf to eat other than herself. She didn't have any meat, and she fully expected the wolf to bolt out of the door right there and then. Perhaps this would be too much for him to deal with. After all, who else had offered the wolf such an option? "It will take a while, and I need you to wait. But in the meantime you should enjoy the time you have. Here. Apart from him. Without hurting anyone." She hoped that he wouldn't. If he didn't leave outright, then she would prepare something for them to eat. Hopefully. If he could shift back to being an immortal it would be much easier.

He kept pressing his weight in attempting to get her to lose her strength but she held fast against him. Still, she spoke words he didn’t want to hear. He didn’t believe her lies! She wouldn’t stop and it was drilling into his head that maybe she was right. Maybe he could finally dominate as the true personality. He hung in her grasp before finally backing off from her as she continued to speak saying she just wanted Felix free and somehow him also. The problem was he was no a real entity. He hadn’t the reality like the real Felix did but that didn’t mean he couldn’t make that Felix disappear. That didn’t mean he couldn’t wipe out his existence in the body. Yellow eyes stayed on her for a moment as he continued to listen saying she knew contacts and she could get ahold of them to do this for the both of them. ”He won’t go for it.” he stated. He knew the human softer more cautious personality would find this daunting. It meant a split chance of losing everything. ”You will have to make him agree.” could she? He didn’t truly know but he did know that Eriu was still a very special to him whether he liked it or not. The anger towards her was what made the wolf feel stronger. Fueled by hate was what made his existence. Eriu helped create him as did the boy's father, Farkas.
Her next question caused his nose to scrunch showing the front teeth. ”If fairy is not on the menu, no.” Despite her wanting to help him he was still a creature of the hunt. She smelled like prey and it didn’t mean her wanting to help him make him see her as off-limits because given the chance he would swallow her whole if he could. ”But I don’t think you would want to serve that.” Ears pushed forward though. ”I am a wolf. It’s what I do.” he corrected. ”It is in my nature to hurt those weaker than I.” not a true wolf but it was his wolf nature. ”And if I must spend my time it will not be breaking bread with you.” his words turned spiteful again. ”I must make use of my time and it will not be used waiting.” he was impatient. Glancing at the door and then back at the fae.”Be a good lass and let me out.”

"He will, if he knows that it might get rid of you," she said firmly, looking at him with the same seriousness from before. Well, that was a gamble, but one she was going to take nonetheless. It wasn't entirely not plausible though, Felix might agree if he heard. But her main priority was getting the wolf to agree, and to make him stay out of trouble or else all of this would be for naught. Of course he turned her offer down, claiming to be an animal of the hunt, which was true for the most part, but Felix was also just as immortal as any. He could eat food other than meat as well. She didn't know what to say to that, and he glanced at the door, wanting his freedom. But he could hurt people if she did let him out. And that was not the promise. She wouldn't give him the real freedom if he desired if he hurt anybody. Narrowing her eyebrows, she gazed at him further. "No," she said. Her decision was final, she was not going to let him harm anyone. "If you hurt the others I will not help you." And that meant that the deal was off. "Felix is immortal, he can eat other food. If you want him to agree, then you should let him take control then, if not temporarily," she said, wondering if he would really do so. She didn't know how it all worked, but maybe the personality would shift one to another. But if Felix did return to his senses, that way he couldn't hurt anyone. For the moment at least, things would be easier. Then she could let him go until she finds out how to follow up on her end of the promise.
But, she didn't know what else to do. So she stood there, waiting for his answer, or for him to do something at least. Though secretly she hoped that the old Felix would come back. And she could tell him everything.

The fairy was refusing to let him out by simply saying either let Felix back out or you will have to stay here. His tail twitched with irritation as his head once again lowered. ”I remember why I didn’t like you.” he growled. The fur along his shoulders and spine were fluffed and irritated as yellow eyes kept peering up at her. She was trying to make a deal with him on stating he couldn’t hurt anyone. She obviously didn’t know that that was an inexplicably hard task for him to do. He thrived on hurting people and if she let him, he was going to hurt her once he got the chance. Maybe somehow he could get her to lower her guard? The want for getting out of there was strong though. ”I finally have control and you want me to give it up?” His voice came out less calm this time raising in tone and level though not quite a yell. It shouldn’t be that hard of a task to let Felix have control and then he simply takes it back once they were out but that was the problem. It wasn’t guaranteed he could. His ability for taking control was getting further and further… longer gaps. He didn’t want to give this up. He didn’t want to risk in not being able to do what he wanted and not trapped in the shadows. ”I will not.” he stated plainly.
She was trying to control him like the human did. He backed up a bit and looked around the room a couple times before staring back at her. If he could make it to the set of windows he could try and push himself out that way and run. His lips peeled backward as ears flattened to his skull again. ”You don’t want to help me. You want to control me just like he does.” His muscles readied under his dark coat. ”You are a liar. I almost trusted you.” With that he sprinted around the table and bolted for the window pushing with his might as he tucked his head. The glass broke with his weight and momentum leaving bits of shard in his skin but it was a small price to pay for his freedom. Once his paws touched the earth outside he darted away from the fairy’s home.

Just as she looked at him, the wolf seemed to be getting defensive. Eriu then looked at him with worry, anxiously wondering what he was going to do. He growled at her, perhaps she had been too firm with him. After all, she just promised his freedom, yet in return he couldn't hurt anybody. Maybe that wasn't true freedom at all, not for him. But what else she could have done? The fae didn't know, but she gazed at him with a glint of sadness in her eye. He accused her of not wanting to help him, wanting to control him, that she was a liar, that he almost trusted her. Instinctively, she reached a hand out to him, gesturing for him not to leave as she saw him turn tail. What was he doing? "No, I-!" But it was too late. The wolf had torn through her glass, sending the fae into shock before she could even rush up to meet with the opening in her window. Standing behind it, the glass shards surrounding her feet, she looked on as the black wolf ran into her yard and off into the distance. There was nothing she could do, except gaze dejectedly as she watched his form disappear into the thickness of the pink trees. She prayed for anyone who crossed him to be careful. Neighbors were nearby no doubt, but perhaps he was just running away. From everything. But hopefully the wolf would still accept her help. She wanted him free, more than anything. No, she wanted Felix to be free. Free from this... this darkness plaguing his mind. Whatever it was, whatever the wolf would do now that he was out of the wilderness, that Felix would be kept safe and out of trouble.
Maybe he would come back. She couldn't take any more chances if he did. She needed to find help, someone who could heal him. After a long silence of her staring out of the broken window, she bent down, picking up the shards piece by piece before she began cleaning. Once she was done, the broom gliding across the floor as it swept the glass she then placed it on the wall as she wiped the sweat off her forehead. There was people she needed to go see, but now that her window was broken it needed repairing. Luckily there was a fae a few doors down that could mend it. Heading out the door, Eriu flew toward her neighbor's place, pink wings taking to the air as she dashed forward. She needed to think of who and how she could find someone that could help Felix. A few names came to mind, but soon enough if she spoke to her friends about it, they might know someone who can. If so, she would need to find them, and hopefully talk some sense into them in hopes of caring for someone who might prove to be a danger to those around him. But if they didn't help, more would be in danger.
Flying to her neighbor's house, she landed into the pile of fallen pink leaves before walking up to the door, knocking upon it. Soon enough her friend opened the door, and she was greeted with a smile. Soon enough, after a long while of explaining and talking, Eriu confiding in her neighbor, she was given some tea and treats as they chatted. Soon, the two fae were in laughter after a few hours had gone by. Eriu had almost forgotten what had happened a few hours earlier, but the thought of the wolf kept returning to her mind. She mentioned it to her friend, everything that had happened. She then asked for help, someone who her friend might know of who could be of help. After thinking for a while, her friend came up with a solution.
"You know there is the elf prince, the bastard son I think he is. Morighan is his name, I heard he had some spirit magic, I don't know what, but perhaps it's something to work off of."
With a nod, Eriu agreed. She would try anything, even though Aelfmenn was a bit away from Niwetri. But it wasn't like the wolf was going to come back any time soon anyway, considering what he had told her. Even though he was royalty, perhaps he could lend a hand. Whatever his magic was, maybe there was a way for him to fix Felix, or someone he knew that could. The only way she would find out, was to visit him and ask for his help. Of course, she wouldn't go without giving payment, but if he cared for the forest of Dryhtwood with a rampant wolf running loose maybe he would. It was a risky endeavor but, one that she would take nonetheless. Even if he couldn't help, she wouldn't stop trying until she found someone that would.
