Alvina seemed the picture of calm despite the waves of warm anger that seemed to cling to the Dragon. Fortunately, the water splashing caused him to twitch, and seemed to help draw him out of his angry furor. Her eyes hooded, a small smile twisting the corners of her mouth as his gaze followed her to the dwarf.
Eyes diverting back, the briefest flash of her teeth was seen. It was something of a cross between a smirk and a grin at the thought of being carried to the skies. Far above the treetops, the mountains, and the valleys that she was so used to treading. Trying to imagine what it would be like to be embraced by the clouds… she simply couldn’t picture it. “Perhaps you should show me that at some point; the idea… It would be good.”
Her interest piqued as she was drawn toward the rustling and shaking of bottles as the dwarf seemed to gather his mule in some preparation to depart.

Obelisk was glad the cretin was leaving. He tried to push thoughts of him aside, focusing instead on Alvina. He liked the expression that the thought of flying had brought to her face and in that moment made it a promise to himself. He would take her into the skies. It would be no trouble. Besides, the chance to stretch his wings would be welcome.
"I will." He grinned back, raising his eyebrows slightly. "If in return you introduce me to your pack. They are important to you and I would like to meet them if that doesn't cause any harm." He was careful to add a caveat to his request. He didn't truly want her to feel coerced- he would fly her anyway, just because he liked her. But he did want to meet her pack, see what responsibility was so dear to her, and help if he could. He had never really belonged to anything and it would be nice to see how it was were-beasts in all their many forms got along with eachother. It could be educational.

If she had been in her wolven form, her tail might've wagged at his request to see her Pack. Alvina was not one who would easily turn away someone who sought refuge within the Pack, though she was certainly one to filter wayward eyes and to fiercely protect the place hidden in the mountains. Obelisk, old and powerful as he was, however, was not someone she felt the need to hide the place from. On the contrary, she wondered in that moment why she had not thought to show him sooner. Truthfully, she might've considered it... And yet they both had ways of maintaining distance from one another. Time and one race being hunted to near extinction kind of... did that in a way.
Her eyes reflected a warm, motherly appreciation as she nodded. Alvina absently brushed wayward, dampened strands from her eyes before she spoke. “I don’t see why it that would be an issue. Might you care to accompany me back after I leave here? Of would you might to come visit another time, dear?”

It had been harder than Obe would have liked to admit to acclimate to freedom after Alvina had opened the door. Though he seemed relatively at home now the process of adapting had been challenging. He had avoided being too close to anyone while he felt so... foreign. These days, it was easier. It felt like he had more time and energy to keep up relationships. Perhaps he ought to make a concentrated effort to be more involved, he thought. He did quite like his little wolf queen, and respect her for what she was doing. He reached over and tucked a strand of hair she'd missed back behind her ear, his face softened into an affection smile.
"I would like nothing more than to accompany you. I usually travel alone so it should be a nice change of pace." He shifted a bit away from the rock edge of the pool and rolled onto his back, letting the water suspend him again. It was good to have the springs to themselves again. Some of his previous peace still hadn't recovered but he was well distracted by the prospect of following her home. And by imagining how she would react to flight.
