[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]His jaws were locked to tight as he moved in a hurried fashion. His head was down his eyes on the ground with hands in his pockets. A pair of shorts and a long shirt and couple of towels hung in between his side and arm tucked away for safe keeping. He couldn't concentrate. All he could think about was those soft breaths of Lucia, the heat that had arisen between the two of them. He had done his best in absolutely avoiding her but his mind kept pushing to go back and even the wolf was getting overly eager at the thought of her. He didn't understand it or well maybe he did but he refused to put it into words. The words seemed to be to final for him because he knew what had happened the last time he had been smitten with someone. He nearly killed her. He nearly ripped everything there was away and he couldn't do that again. Not to Lucia because where else would she go? She had nowhere she couldn't get away from him like Eriu. It was best to nip this in the butt before it got worse.[break]
However, the more he tried to push away the strong it came. The harsher the hold on him. It wasn't right. After all this time something as simple as what they had done had pushed this into course? There was no way. Maybe it was because it had literally been so long since he had someone. Since... Eriu.[break]
He pushed a shaky breath through his nose and slowed his pace. He needed to calm back down before he reached Larkin. If he continued to be too caught into his emotions she would instantly pick up on him being so distracted and today wasn't about that. Today was about spending time with little Larkin and possibly distracting himself from his own complications. It shouldn't be too long anyhow until he could let her go back to her life. If only he had thought it through the first time then he wouldn't be in this mess. The sad thing though was he was beginning to grow incredibly attached to the little rabbit despite his wolf trying to maul her multiple times. She, however, gave him the courage to start to fight back against the killer canine.[break]
The house was coming into view and he bounced up the steps before heading inside. Once he spotted her he quietly shut the door behind him and moved in behind her. Running his nose quietly up the base of her neck he moved towards her ear, fingers on either side of her hips. "You up for a swim?" he asked curiously. The relationship between the two of them had seemed to continuously skirt along blurred lines. Was he attracted? Maybe. He wasn't entirely sure how he felt about her but he knew it was easy to be touchy with her despite his usual reserve against such things. He wasn't a touchy person but Larkin had seemed to open that valve and now around her, it was hard not to. He turned her around to face him a bright smile on his face as blue eyes looked into her pale ones. "I brought a shirt for you and a couple towels." and shorts for himself of course but that was probably a given. "And a pair of shorts you can slip on too if you don't wanna just swim in a shirt." he waggled the clothes in his hand, tipping his head a bit. Eyes shifted around the abandoned cabin. They made it a little more homey for her or at least he tried to make it more accommodating. Brought her more books and other things to fill her time as well as better at keeping food handy for her. He was doing his best. Luckily he didn't have to check in as much with the boss as the rest of his workers but he supposed if he gave any room for distrust his boss was going to tighten the leash.

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ She was alone again. But this time she had a few things to keep her busy and some food to eat. She was standing near one of the windows with a book in hand when Felix entered the tiny cabin. So engrossed in the words that she didn't even hear the door creak nor his footsteps on the aging wood. But suddenly there was someone behind her. Hands settling on her hips as a tingle shot up her spine. She was about to panic until he spoke and she recognized the deep voice of none other than Felix.
"A swim?" She repeated. Her excitement at seeing him leaking into her words. The idea of a swim didn't excite her, rather it made her nervous. But spending time with Felix? That she enjoyed. She placed a small bookmark in her book then sat it down. Feeling him turn her around she smiled up at him. "A shirt?" She stared at him curiously. "Didn't you say I was trying to get you naked when I mentioned swimming? So we don't swim naked then?" She reached out to let her fingers trail over a wrinkle in his shirt, falling over the top of his pants before moving up his stomach again. Not trying to flirt or seduce. If she had tried it would have inevitably came out awkward and strange. As it was she just liked the connection. Enjoyed touching him. Even if it was just minor actions like this.
"Oh!" Suddenly remembering something she released him and wriggled from his grasp until she could get to one of the nearby cabinets. "I read up a little, one of those books you got me had some information about a salve for cuts and scrapes. I was able to find most of the ingredients near the cabin here." She grabbed a small glass vial from the cabinet that had cork stopper in it. She turned back around so that she could see Felix. Her blue eyes moving to his face that had been injured the last time she saw him. "I guess you don't really need it now...but if you get hurt again its supposed to help with pain."
She reached out to slip the vial into one of his pockets and stretched up on her toes to kiss his cheek. "I was my fault you got hurt...I wanted to do something since you didn't want me to turn myself in." She reached down to touch the shirt that was apparently for her to swim in. Doubting that the shorts would stay on her hips once she was in the water.
"You won't let me drown...right?"

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]”I mean I was trying to be modest but if you wanna go naked-….” a clever smile made its way on his lips as he leaned down and pressed his forehead into hers rubbing his nose along her own as she fiddled with his shirt trailing them down to his pant line and then back up. ”I am sure we could work it out.” he purred flirtatiously though it was completely harmless though he was curious if she would go for it or if she would stammer away again. He liked seeing her fidget it. It brought him a bit of joy to know he could get under her skin. The pale blush of pink to her cheeks were something he liked striving for.[break] ”Might be big but I’m sure it could do its job well enough.” He shrugged a little before she was wiggling away from him to put a marker in her book and then sauntered off towards the shelves. His head tipped as he watched her curiously, blue eyes beaming as the rabbit pulled something out and held it up. ”Oh yeah? I figured you would like that book.” She moved towards him and slipped it in his pocket and then slipping up on her tip toes giving his cheek a peck. ”I will be sure to keep it on hand. Thank you.” he said softly and then as she continued he rolled his eyes at her. ”No, silly. If I was going to drown you I would have done it a long time ago.” With that he stepped around her and headed for the door pausing for her to follow before leading her off to head for the small water spot he found that was conveniently close.[break] ”I did some searching though when you mentioned swimming and found a little spring close by. Might be cold but I think it’s a warm enough day.” Blue eyes shift up towards the bits of sky that peeked through the trees. Of course he would keep a close eye on her and would likely not let her get too far away from him. He wasn’t the best swimmer either but he could hold his own…. Doggy paddling. It never failed him.[break] Once there he showed her the small clear pool that had a small amount of rushing water in it before leaking out into a nearby river bed. ”See. It also looks pretty shallow too so I don’t think you will have too much of a problem.” He nuzzled her before heading over and touching the water with his hand and looked towards her. ”So what will it be then? Shirt or no shirt.” his brows waggled as he watched her. .

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ She didn't look up or respond to his taunt. Although her cheeks had immediately flooded pink and her heart race had picked up several notches. She cleared her throat softly and moved on to get the vial. She had smiled and nodded in response to his thanks. A wrinkle appearing in her brow at his offhand commend. "I never said intentionally. But I'm glad you haven't drowned me."
When he took off she followed him. Pulling the door to her tiny home shut and trailing after him. At the mention of the water being cold she felt goosebumps start to rise on her skin. "Hopefully its not too cold." She replied slightly concerned. When she got cold, actually really shivering cold it usually took a roaring fire and several blankets to warm her. They couldn't have a fire because it would make the cabin easy to find. But she trusted him. Assuming that he wouldn't take her there if the water was frigid.
Soon enough they were arriving at the pool of water. Larkin stared at it until Felix nuzzled her. Her hand just missing snatching at his shirt when he stepped away and closer to the water. She was tense. She couldn't help it. The idea of swimming, being cold, both of those worried her. "Shallow is good." Tentatively she walked over to where he knelt. Her footsteps silent. His tease made the pink return to her cheeks and she leaned down to take the long shirt from his hands. "Shirt." She all but squeaked. She walked several feet behind him and changed into the shirt. Glancing over her shoulder as she did so. Making sure she could quickly turn away or move if he turned about.
She twisted her long hair up and stuck a small thin stick through the ivory tresses. Wavy locks still escaped here and there but the majority of her hair would be up away from the water. Hurrying back to his side Larkin lay her hand on his arm but stared nervously at the pool. "You are going in first right?" She was nearly worming herself into his lap even as he crouched there. Nervously clinging to him in her fear.
"Felix I-I don't know about this." She bit down on her lip and leaned into his arm. Practically hiding her face. She didn't want him to see her embarrassment but she was on the verge of letting her fear get the best of her.

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]He snorted a little and nod. ”You are very welcome.” He winked at her before he went about tugging her on out the door. He didn’t really think about it being too cold for the little rabbit but he supposed it shouldn’t be too bad with the sun beaming down on the water through the trees. Hopefully it heated the water just right in the pool. ”Don’t get too close to where the water trickles in then. It’ll be the coldest part.” he said offhandedly as they finally reached their destination. His hands moved carefully in the water as she stared in an almost deer in head lights fashion. She was scared. His wolf grew restless at the scent of her nerves, fueling off of her fear that was now starting to resonate. A soft growl started to work in his throat but before it could reach his lips and make a sound he forcefully swallowed it back down.[break] He let her grab the shirt from him but he didn’t turn to follow her with his gaze. Instead he started to tug his own shirt off but kept his shorts on. Fingers still trailed around in the water until she soon skittered back to his side. Glancing down at her as she said she wasn’t entirely sure of this idea now. She was practically hiding herself in and against him but she was definitely getting in the water. He however knew what he had to do. Her focus was on the bigger picture and so he would have her follow his lead. He shifted a little to where he was more in facing her and part of him now in the water. It sent a shiver up his spine with the first step but it was relatively cooling against the hot sun. Using his fingers he tipped her chin up and locked eyes with her. Hopefully if she kept his gaze then he could just steadily back in with her following him. Grabbing her hands attempting to keep her gaze. His head was in close to hers, ”Follow me.” he whispered and tugged her in tighter towards him while easing backwards.[break] His point of this was to get her to stop thinking for a moment and just move with him and to put trust into him. He continued to wade backwards if she kept moving with him until the point he could comfortably wade in the water her practically on his lap as he held her with his legs. His eyes still locked on hers he quietly nuzzled his nose along hers again, feet touching the bottom keeping him from floating off as he lounged in the water. Without much thinking of what he was doing, he tentatively pressed his lips into hers. It began to deepen, wrapping an arm around her slender waist and tugging her torso tighter against him. [break] A small possessive growl murmured in between their lips as he pulled his head back only slightly. The wolf stirred again using the distraction to push closer to the surface. He pulled back a little breathless and cleared his throat. ”Sorry…”. Feeling the distinct change of the wolf.

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ He moved away from her and softly told her to follow. Facing her all the while and tipping her chip up so that she was peering at him instead of the water itself. She trembled but reluctantly followed. Her hands clutching at his arms for security when he pulled her in closer. It was cold and the water sent a shiver up her spine but it wasn't unbearable. She allowed herself to be pulled closer, assisting with it even. Noticing at that moment that Felix was shirtless. For some reason it made her blush and avert her eyes, fighting against the urge to stare. The warmth of his skin was a nice contrast to the cool water and she slowly calmed. Not swimming or even holding her own weight at this point but in the water all the same. One hand moves to let her fingers slip through the surface of the water. Feeling that point where the warmth from the sun stopped.
He nuzzled against her and Larkin turned to meet his gaze. "Its not so bad." She said softly, happily. But then Felix leaned in and she felt her heart beat faster. His lips gently brushing her own in a way that seemed to almost be asking permission. She didn't pull away, she didn't want to. The kiss deepened and Larkin was getting lost in it. In him. Her hands slowly roaming over the expanse of his chest that she had been too timid to even stare at minutes before. There was a soft sigh that unknowingly slipped past her lips. Her arms eventually moving upward to circle around his neck. Absently playing with his hair.
He pulled back with a low growl. One that made her eyes open but didn't inspire her to pull away. She trusted him...he had restrained the wolf last time he could do it again. Her cheeks were flushed for an entirely different reason now and Larkin bit her lip, shaking her head when he apologized. "Don't be." She said softly, still obviously affected by the kiss.
The water around her was a distant memory now. She wasn't even thinking about the murky dark water below. Just about the man that held her in his arms. Albeit looser than he had before. She wanted to close that distance, she wanted that tantalizing kiss to continue. But she didn't want to push him. He might be having trouble with his wolf, or maybe he just wanted to stop. She found a question on her lips. Asking it before she could think to stop herself.
"...Do we have to stop?" From someone else it might have sounded seductive. From Larkin it was more timid, asking instead of tempting. "I think I like the water." She followed up with, an embarrassed smile stretching across her face.

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]There was just something about this little bunny of his that made him react solely on impulse. Perhaps it was the barrier that she had succeeded in breaking down. Finding the only true way he could fufilly bond with someone. Whatever it was when he was close and personal with her, he found it especially hard to keep his hands to himself. She brought out that drive in him that was almost a human sort of drive and not necessarily animal. The kiss had deepened by this point and it wasn’t until he felt the predator beneath it all shift, lurking like a crocodile beneath the murky depths of the water. Her hands urged him on though as she explored letting her fingers travel over bare skin until the finally rest on his shoulders and arms eventually encircling his neck. He was having a hard time controlling the pressure of his breath feeling like he wasn’t getting enough oxygen and needing to suck in air deeper and longer. His heart thudded in his ears as he felt the blood course and rush. [break] The growl that unconsciously passed between their lips was what brought him back to reality. Almost as though it reminded him of what he was doing and how close he was doing it. He pulled back allowing his hold on her to loosen. It wasn’t done intentional. None of it was. He just feared of hurting her fearing that the wolf would take control and snatch his little rabbit, his only solace, away from him. She gave him the courage to stand up to the wolf and he didn’t want to break that.[break] Even as he apologized his eyes kept lingering back towards his lips. Her light weight even lighter now that they were floating in the water. He felt as weightless as his head did. As her question his head slightly tipped to the side, focusing on her lips still before bringing them back up to her own. ”No, I suppose we don’t…” But before he could do much else she soon turned her attention back to the water halting whatever possible provocative thoughts he might have had at that very moment. Eyes shifted to the ripples in the water from around their body. ”Yeah it is nice. I sometimes like to just float and feel all gravity just melt away.” he gave her a small smile before looking back towards her for a moment. ”You wanna try it on your own?”

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ Larkin smiled at his comment about the water. There were few things she knew about Felix really. She knew he didn't really like to read. That tea apparently wasn't his idea of something good to drink. But something he actually liked? That was new. While still in the safety of his arms, even if they were looser now she took a chance and leaned her head back. Letting the cool water kiss the back of her head and slip through her hair to send tingles over her scalp. Tentatively she let one hand fall away from Felix, leaving only the one curled around the nape of his neck. She pulled the tiny stick that held her long ivory hair pinned and dropped it into the water. Leaning back again she closed her eyes. It was a strange feeling...almost like the water was caressing her scalp. Of course she had washed her hair many times before but being in this cool pool in the middle of a forest made things different. Or maybe it was because her skin felt oddly warm, and the man that held her made her unusually daring.
She kept her blue eyes closed and just enjoyed the feel of it all. Felix holding her, the water moving gently over her skin. the tingles in he scalp. But then he said something that made her look up. Pulling her head up from the water her free hand moved to grip his arm nervously. Afraid that he would let her go. "N-no I don't think so." Although admittedly she wasn't really doing any swimming getting into the water was a good first step for her. She didn't release her hold on his arm even after answering. Knowing he wouldn't purposefully hurt her but afraid he might think she was ready when she wasn't.
"I haven't swam any I know but..." She wasn't ready. It was there between the lines but she didn't say it. Didn't want to disappoint him. A soft breeze blew around the pond as it had been, but Larkin having foolishly wet her hair could now feel the cold snatching at her wet hair and skin. A shiver went through her and her slender shoulders curled inward as if to shield herself from the wind. A second breeze pushed her to wriggle closer to Felix. Her teeth beginning to chatter as she tried to absorb his warmth. "M-maybe I should get out." She shivered. A breeze that might make someone else shiver and shrug it off was able to sink straight to her bones. Especially when she was wet.

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]Quietly watching her as she held onto him for support and she leaning back into the water letting it soothe and relax her. Water was an interesting thing and he had at one point in his life remembered that added salt could make one nearly float on top of the water. Swimming wasn’t one of his top special abilities but he rather enjoyed it. To him it was relaxing and could calm his bitter nerves should they ever get to much on him. He liked how it could just mold to whatever it was around it and how beautiful it could really be. It was something he admired because it was something that needed to be respected. It was dangerous in its own right no matter how placid it could be.[break] She lifted up as he spoke but he didn’t make a move to let her go or move away. He remained in the same position as he had been in simply allowing his weight to be carried by the water He simply nodded his head and before he knew it she was starting to shiver with her teeth chattering. ”Okay.” Simple was all it was. He edged towards shallow water till the point she could stand in it with just above her ankles being beneath the water. Once she was off of him he backed up into the water again and went under the water getting his warmed head wet and cooled off before he headed to shore. The sun felt good to his cooled skin. Beads of water sparkling and glistened on his wet skin as bits of water dripped from strands of hair. He grabbed a towel and tossed her one and started to dry off his head before tossing it over his shoulder and grabbing his shirt. ”I can turn around if you wanna get out of those wet clothes….” which he started to do. He figured if she was that cold she would be seeking warmth in any form she could.[break] Once he felt she was through he looked over his shoulder at her before turning. ”Wanna go back?”

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ When Felix sat her down in the shallow water she practically ran to the shore, high stepping to avoid touching as much water as possible. Once on the shore she crouched down with her arms wrapped around her knees. Her long wet locks trailing down her bowed shoulders and onto the rocky ground beneath her. She watched him swim with a smile on her face. Maybe one day she would feel that secure in the water. She shivered and pulled her knees closer to her chest. Her entire small body trembling. Thankfully he didn't swim very long. Coming up on the shore she looked up at him, watching the way the water slipped over his skin before she turned her gaze away. Her blush returning.
She grabbed the towel he tossed to her and nodded. Reluctantly standing and pulling the soaked shirt over her head that clung to her like a second skin. It fell to the ground beside her and larking curled into the warmth of the fluffy towel. Wrapping it around herself and holding it close. Her wet hair still clung to her but she wasn't giving up the towel. Still shivering so hard she had to bite her lips to keep her teeth from clacking. "F-Felix-" She started but didn't finish her words. When he ask if she wanted to go back Larkin nodded. Maybe it would be warmer in the cabin. She couldn't start a fire but at least it would knock the wind off her. And that was what happened to be drying the water on her skin fast enough to chill her to the bone. She let her dress hang off her arm and clung to the towel around her body.
She didn't say anything as she waited for him to get dressed. She could have put her dress on but she honestly didn't want to unwrap the towel. She was just so damn cold. "I'm r-ready." She said softly through her chattering teeth.

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]He dried off and as she said his name he looked up at her but she was trembling he could tell what would likely come out of her mouth. Ruffling his hair with his towel he pulled the shirt back on and asked if she was ready to go. The little rabbit nodded her head and they started back towards the cabin. ”Hadn’t meant to chill you to the bone, Larkin.” he said as he walked alongside her. She was wrapped so tight in the towel he was almost worried she was going to get sick from this. ”You gonna be okay?”[break] It hadn’t taken long to get back to the cabin and he opened the door for her so she didn’t have to unwrap or move a hand away from her body and let the cool air in. Once she was in he followed behind her and set his things off on a nearby table. ”You should probably change it would help to warm you up if you got out of the wet clothes.” he said. ”I can step back outside if you want me to.” He stood there quietly waiting. However she only wanted him to move his head and so he did. Sitting down he glanced outside the window to outside. He leaned his arm on the back of the chair and soon rest his chin on the same arm. ”I think they are beginning to find a cold trail. I imagine you would be able to go back within the next few or so days.”

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ Larkin nodded that she was alright but didn't un-clench her jaw to speak. Once the were back at the cabin she was relieved to be inside and away from the chilling wind. She had told him he didn't need to step outside and once he turned away she quickly began stripping away her wet shirt. Pulling it away like a second skin it clung so tightly. Once she had slipped her dress back over her shoulders she dropped the wet shirt on the floor and climbed up onto her bed. Pulling her towel tightly around her and snuggling down into it like a turtle into her shell she trembled and sighed.
Felix turned back around then with news that should have made her happy but instead settled a feeling of dread into her chest. She wanted to go home, she wanted to see her brother and get back to her training to be the next lore keeper. But also...she didn't want to leave Felix. She had become rather content with her tiny little slice of life here. Thrilled on those occasions when he would arrive on the doorstep. How would she move on without him? He was her friend now, odd friendship or not she valued him.
"I-I...don't want to go." She said slowly. Her voice somewhat muffled by the fluffy towel that she was snuggled down into. Her wet hair fell in stringy ivory ropes around her shoulders and over the dark fabric of the towel. "I would m-miss you." She trembled and shook as she spoke. But her words were true and her blue eyes turned down away from Felix, embarrassed by her admission.

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]His breathing was slow as he stared out the window watching the bits of grass and trees. His mind was pretty empty despite the happenings over the past few days. He was sure Lucia was getting the hint by now that he wasn’t hanging around for a reason but it wasn’t also entirely his choice. Between the boss using him as his whipping boy and of course caring for Larkin and being sure she had what she needed to survive alone in the woods – he was kept pretty busy. Then again on his down times he didn’t search her out anymore either. What had happened back in the cave felt like it was wrong and yet oh so right. She made him feel like it was wrong but the feeling that it created was euphoric… one he hadn’t experienced before.[break] Once he felt she had plenty of time to get through with what she needed to do he shifted in his chair to look upon the small woman who sat wrapped up on her bed. She seemed happy about the news, ecstatic really, and then suddenly it dampened. He was confused by it really. He thought she would be thrilled to go and even start making plans upon her return. However it didn’t seem it was going that direction. He cleared his throat and shifted a little more to the edge of his chair as she spoke up finally. ”Larkin….” he said softly. ”You won’t be happy staying here.” He was trying to convince not only her but himself too.[break] It would be selfish of him to feed off of her desire right now. It would also be selfish to keep her for his own reasons. ”Don’t you wanna go back to the library?” his head tipped watching her. He wanted her to stay. He wanted her to be that little piece of hidden paradise but that was wrong wasn’t it? He after all was a mated man now, right? Even if he was sure his mate wanted no part of their bond. Her next set of words caused an ache to grow in his heart. If it was bothering him this much without her gone how much would it bother him when she actually was? ”I’ll miss you too.” After a few more moments he rose to his feet and sat on the bed next to her. ”But you will be happier there. I promise. I will visit you when I can….”

Larkin Silvaris words . tags ♚ She could hear it there in his voice. He thought she should go. Larkin was quick to nod in agreement. Of course she should go, of course she missed the library, of course she would be happier there. He said he would come visit but it wasn't as reassuring as she had hoped. She wondered if he would really take time out of his busy life to go all the way to the library to see her. The knew the visits would likely get further and further apart. Distance making him forget. "You're right, Felix." She said softly and huddled into her towel. "I'm sorry." She should have held her tongue but her words had a way of slipping out even when she tried to clamp them down.
Her blue eyes moved to see him sit down beside her on the bed and without hesitation she scooted closer. Climbing into his lap she shivered and huddled against the warmth of his chest. "I wasn't trying to be difficult." He would miss her too he said, so...maybe he would come visit? But her brother...what would he think of Felix coming around? He was always so protective of her and if he learned where she had been, that Felix had been the one who spirited her away would he even tolerate her friends presence. Larkin shivered and pulled her towel tightly around her shoulders, her pale pink lips appearing almost slightly blue. She didn't do well with the cold. At all. A roaring fire would have been wonderful right then and she would have probably hunkered close enough to singe her clothes.
One hand hand slipped from beneath her towel and was nervously gripping a small part of his shirt and roll it back and forth between her fingers. "Promise." She said softly, her voice high and timid. "Promise you won't forget about me." She snuggled against his neck then. Her lips briefly touching the warm flesh before she leaned her forehead against him, the warm flesh a start contrast against her unnaturally cool. She was still shivering, practically vibrating as her tiny body tried to create heat. If only a fire was doable she would have felt much better.

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]He could defintiely tell that the answer he gave her was not at all satisfying nor what she had actually wanted to hear. His frown remained even as she spoke and told him that she was sorry. This had forced him up to his feet and sit down next to the shivering woman who immediately scooted into him. He shifted a little so that way he wasn't sitting uncomfortably and wrapped an arm around her. He kissed the top of her head as she spoke again about not trying to be difficult. Her submissive nature was satisfying to his more domineering side but the side that had such a huge soft spot for her was literally cracking. He wasn't sure at what it was about this rabbit but he had a feeling he was going to get in deep because of her. She was going to be his downfall one way or another and so perhaps it was for the best she went back as soon as the coast was clear.[break]
He was just struggling with the idea even if it were the best possible thing that could happen.[break]
"I just really care about you Larkin and I don't like seeing you unhappy... because I know you are. I know you want to see your brother and go back to the library and live how you did. Free." His tone was quiet and a little sad but well he knew she would understand. "I just want you to be happy. I like seeing a smile on your face." He allowed his nose to softly trace along the top of her head breathing in her scent. Warm breath cascaded down on her hair causing small little baby hairs to tickle his nose. "Besides I am not always the best company to have." he chuckled soflty despite it being about himself. "You tempt me." and she did. Her deep connection with him was far deeper than just skin deep. It was something he almost wanted to drown himself in. "And you give me the courage to be a better me."
