LET THIS BLOOD FLOW SLICING WIDE MY WOUNDS BITING A HOLE THROUGH FATE, I'LL KEEP UP THIS STRUGGLE "They tortured me for what I did," he spoke, his attention still focused straight ahead. "My brother and I led the attack on one of the other clans... We killed them. Burn their houses down. Salvaged everything," he remembered. Wide eyed as the memories came through. "But they betrayed me. Each and every single one of them," he said, his voice seething as he stressed the last words. "I even told my brother that the wolves hand an alliance. Did he care? No, he just took off and I then eventually followed." Did she even know he had a brother? Well, not really a brother per say... not one of blood anyway. But, his mouth spoke as he continued to remember, playing in his mind like a theatre. "We destroyed them. But we were successful. I was attributed to leading the attack," he spoke although he did not sound proud of it. "He was made alpha. Of course, then that was around the time those bastards took me. He blamed it all on me. It was his plan, not mine. Though I agreed with it. I practically led the thing." His voice was beginning to grow louder as he spoke, however his eyes moved downward as he spoke, as if he were talking to the ground. "They all betrayed me. Even after all what we went through, he still had the heart to blame it all on me. That we were not brothers." His head tilted slightly back and forth as he spoke, eyes fixated on the table before him. "That's... when I was sent to prison," he breathed. "It was in a different town, they had torture methods that I didn't even know existed," he nearly sighed. He was pathetic. He did not want to show her that he was pathetic. He then gazed back up at her. "I trusted you," he said, though it didn't sound sad or angry, just emotionless. However he was telling the truth. "It's just... I didn't want you to know what I did. And these memories are too painful to bring up," he grimaced at the thought of it, cringing his face as he looked to the side with his eyes closed. "I didn't want you to see what a monster that I am. How many people I killed. Betrayed. Tortured. Murdered. Stole. I didn't want you to leave me," he said, his head then faced downward somewhat again. "I didn't want you to see how fucking pathetic that I actually am," he then spoke painfully, turning his head to the side again. "That I was weak. How I got all these scars. That I wasn't strong enough to fight against them. That I couldn't prevent from getting them. I didn't want you to think that I wasn't strong," he said, his eyes finally opening and meeting hers. "But that's not all you don't know about me."Farkas stood there, intrigued by what he had to say but at the same time growing bored already. His arms were crossed, looking directly at Radulfr as he spoke. So somehow the clan had attacked the others, yet he took the blame? Was it a set up by that brother of his, or was it something that he was just trying to fool himself to believe? The potion didn't make him lie but it also may be a different point of view on his part. But, he was certain that Wryn probably wasn't going to continue to love this murderer any longer. Even though he was taken the blame he still killed them. Farkas was growing bored with their sappy exchanges, and so he decided that she should be alone with him. After all, in solace she would probably be more likely to turn against him. To hate him. Rather than have her hatred focused on Farkas. "Quite interesting," he commented. "How does that make you feel, Wryn?" he asked, turning to her. "Knowing that he killed all those people?" He then turned around swiftly, headed toward the door. "I shall leave you be, to discuss it with him," he said, stopping by the door. On a nearby shelf Farkas reached with one hand, toward a stone. As he touched it the stone rippled with a strange light, although faded enough that they probably couldn't see it. It would allow for him to hear their conversation in his mind. Though it would only work for a few hours before it wore off. Afterwards he then opened the door, peering back at the both of them. "Have fun," he said devilishly, before shutting the door closed tight. @tag ### notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

♔She looked at him as he spoke. Her eyes narrowing. "You killed an entire clan?" She repeated slowly, no. Rad killed people but she never assumed he would hurt the helpless. "Women?...children? Did you kill them too?" Her voice was level but the disappointment was easy to hear, the hurt than ran through them like a river. But it wasn't the killing that made his voice change, but the betrayal of his people. His brother. It wasn't all the lives he had stolen but when someone had hurt him. Part of her felt sorry for him, she could tell the memory still hurt. But another part of her couldn't care. Not when he was telling her about these people he had needlessly killed just because his brother had attacked first. He had a brain. He could have stopped.
"They tortured you." She said slowly. Staring at him now. Seeing the many scars that could be seen in the bare areas without armor. Her jaw ticked as she clenched her teeth. Staring at him as he spoke. Telling her he did trust her but he didn't want her to know these things. Didn't want her to see the weakness. Wryn could have cared less if Rad was weak.
It was everything else that made her want to turn away.
She closed her eyes and let her head roll forward. Disappointment burning in her stomach like hot coals. She ignored Farkas completely until he left the room. Only the did she speak again. Her green eyes slowly opening to peer across the table at him. She was afraid...afraid of what he might say next.
"What else, Rad? What should I know?"

LET THIS BLOOD FLOW SLICING WIDE MY WOUNDS BITING A HOLE THROUGH FATE, I'LL KEEP UP THIS STRUGGLE "Yeah..." he said, although no emotion really showed on his face. He just continued to look on at Wryn as he wanted to tell the truth. "We killed most of them. Innocents, women, children, we killed them all," he spoke. Of course he had killed them as well, but his memories were still all a blur. But from what he remembered he had only aided in their defeat. He could remember the screams of the wives and children as their houses were burnt down, the flames devouring everything in their path soaked in their father's blood. Their screams were silenced by his blade. She displayed signs of mistrust, shame, sadness. Something which was the reason why he hadn't told her in the first place, but however now under the potion's effects his mouth ran rampant, not caring for any effect that it would have on the situation. What else was there? Where to start? "There is so much you do not know," he said, almost nearly laughing, a twisted, sort of laugh that was not filled out of enjoyment. Or was it? Maybe he was currently amused by the fact that she didn't know, or maybe he was excited to tell her. That was one of the effects under the potion after all. So many things he could tell her. He could tell her his whole life story if he must. However that would take a long time, and he didn't know what she wanted to know the most. "What is it do you want to hear?" he asked, looking at her anxiously with excited eyes as he smiled eerily. He nearly laughed again, just from the exhilaration of it. To delve into his past, the memories he tried to keep so hard locked away from within his brain. She could hear them now, she could hear him and judge him. She could leave him for the monster he was, under the effects of the potion, he didn't care. He didn't care what she thought of him, just the fact that he was able to speak so freely was enough to please him. "How I killed my own mother? How I tried to get revenge on my brother but how that bastard got the best of me? How I lived so long alone in the woods? Or how about the time when those men did something so bad to me when I was younger..." he trailed off. Perhaps that was one of the most unpleasant memories he had. Nevertheless, he was ready to tell them all. Anxious to tell them. There were so many things he could tell her. "How about when I tried to tell my father about what had happened, but he didn't give a damn about a thing," he said, however now he nearly spat as he spoke, his eyes moving down toward the ground, his chin lowered. His voice seemed to falter a little at that last part. @tag ### notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

♔Wryn could have been ill right then. Her stomach rolling painfully and bile rising in her throat when Rad carelessly told her of the people he had slain. The innocent lives he had taken for no reason other than greed. He nearly laughed and her green eyes glared at him coldly, lips pursing as she stared at the man she loved that she really didn't know at all.
"If you had told me, I would have." She said slowly. Her voice measured as she tried to keep her emotions under control. She didn't want him to see how much these dark truths hurt her. Not when he was practically laughing about his deeds but saying he didn't want her to leave him. Didn't want her to know the monster he was. Had he changed? Or was it all just waiting to break free? Would she be his next victim when he was the only person she trusted, the only person who made her feel safe. Maybe he was the most dangerous of all.
She looked down at the table between them as his sins continued to pour down. But then he said something that made her look up. Something that made so many things make sense to her. How he never tried to touch her romantically, in the least. Not even a kiss. How he had told her they would never be together 'that' way. How even closeness would make him squirm. This was not a sin of his own but a burden to bear. "Rad.." She began. Her voice sounding strained. Even after all those things he had told her, even knowing that he was a murderous man who had killed and maimed others only to chuckle about it in the retelling. He had been hurt and not even his father had been there for him.
She had been lucky to have Rad when she had been hurt by her master. Someone to just be there while she dealt with it all. Someone to keep her safe. Rad had never had someone. He had never been safe. Swallowing back the fear and the disgust she felt for his past transgressions Wryn stood and walked around the table slowly. Her chain trailing loudly behind her and tugging at her slender wrist like a ghost telling her not to go to him. Not to risk her safety.
He was injured and she knew there were injuries she couldn't see. So she moved slowly, leaning in to wrap her arms gently around his neck and leaning her cheek against his own. "I care Rad...and I'm so sorry they hurt you." She was leaning over to hug him, trying not to touch him in a way that would hurt him. With her arms still wrapped around him and her lips close to his ear she spoke again.
"I understand things now....but I wish you had told me all of this without being forced." She swallowed hard, still feeling uneasy about the things she had been told but seeing now that much of it was likely the work of a man who had been broken and turned against the world at an early age. Those he loved most failing him when he truly needed them. "I will always be here for you Rad....until the day I die."

LET THIS BLOOD FLOW SLICING WIDE MY WOUNDS BITING A HOLE THROUGH FATE, I'LL KEEP UP THIS STRUGGLE He looked at her silently as she approached, not expecting her to walk up to him so carelessly even after all the things he had just told her. There was a certain look in her eyes that made him unable to look away, gazing at her in surprise as she reached forward, arms stretching around his neck, her voice present in his ear. His eyes turned toward her, mouth dropping slightly as he heard those words. Something happened to him in that moment, and his orbs averted downward, looking at the ground in solemnness. He had never heard anything like that before. From anyone. Though, he was still under the effects of the potion, but that didn't make it any less impactive. His confused eyes then returned back to her, softening. "I... I couldn't tell you," he said, although he didn't know that he was under the effects of the potion at the moment. "I was afraid, to let you see what a monster I was. How weak I was," he spoke with some irony. What a drastic change, but still he didn't want her to see his past. No one. His vivid memory came back as she spoke of the men. One by one taking their turn with him. His mother's emotionless gaze. It burned into his brain. "You... once you asked why I was so angry. About what had happened with you and your master," he said, looking at her directly as he made eye contact. "It was because of... the same thing happened to me." His voice dropped at the last word. He knew that she had known that already, but she did not know the details. They had done just more than hurt him. The potion made him want to tell. All the details. Everything that happened. He then looked downward, remembering what had happened in that night. "I was... just a child back then. I was thirsty so I went out of my bedroom at night, I thought my mother would be asleep because my father was away at the war. But, I saw her sleeping with men then." His pupils shrunk, as they focused on the ground. He was nearly shaking as he then began to speak again. Under the effects he wanted her to know the truth. She had brought it up, and he couldn't lie about it. He wished to speak. "Not just one man. Many of them. They lined the walls waiting their turn. She wasn't a prostitute, she was just a gatherer. My father was her supposed 'mate,' they were supposed to love one another. Yet there she was." His voice spoke with hatred, especially stressing upon the word "mate." "I tried to protect her. I was confused back then. I remember I grabbed a knife from the table, I pointed it at them. I told them to get away from her. But then she nodded," his head lowered, perhaps it was too painful to tell but he was already telling his story, his lips moving in flowing motion without end. "They all came toward me. I tried to fight them off but in the end it was useless. They took the knife away from me. Then... they started," he continued on in gruesome detail. All the things they have done. How painful it was, how his screams went unheard, how his mother just stared at him with a blank face as it all happened. It didn't occur to him that the explicit detail would be something that she didn't desire to hear. He didn't either, but as the memories flowed they continued to spurt out from his tongue. Once he was finished he looked back up at her finally. "That was why I was so angry," he said, head tilted slightly. @tag ### notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

♔Wryn had to look away when Rad started giving her the details. Not because she didn't care, but because she cared too much. Just hearing the details was painful for her. Hearing how those horrible people had hurt him. How his mother and father had failed him. How he had tried to protect his mother when he was the one who needed protection. She felt as if she would be ill when he went into detail and did the only thing she could think to do. She wrapped her arms tighter around his neck. Hoping that somehow maybe she could hold him together even as all the jagged pieces didn't match.
"I'm so sorry Rad." She was glad Farkas wasn't around to hear his memories. To poke fun at something so horrible and life altering. She understood now why he had lost his cool that night at the inn. Why he didn't wish to touch her even when she craved just that. She understood so many things but now she was left with the weight of it all.
"You don't...you don't have to tell me anything else. I'll get us out of here somehow.....I promise."

LET THIS BLOOD FLOW SLICING WIDE MY WOUNDS BITING A HOLE THROUGH FATE, I'LL KEEP UP THIS STRUGGLE When her arms wrapped around his neck, his shoulders relaxed. "But I want to-!" he said but stopped short, still underneath the effects of the potion. It made him want to say everything, spill all the truths she questioned to her heart's desire. He couldn't figure out why exactly he wished to speak, just the fact that he wanted to. His mouth would ramble on freely, but then came the fact of getting out of here. Out of where? This place? Why escape here? Perhaps it was then he was finally slowly able to come back to his senses, the nauseating pain as his head bobbed, eyes roaming side to side in a haze. This place... an escape... All he could see was darkness, and the faint blue of blonde hair and a face. Wryn. Even still under the effects he knew it was her, yet at the same time not. Then, he felt another pain go through his head. Like another wave of the spell of the effects. Making his head jolt forward and down for a moment, his hazy-like state returned. What was it she desired to hear again? Getting out of here? "There is no escape from this place..." he said in a monotone voice, almost emotionless than before. His head was still dropped low, eyes nearly closed. "I tried... I tried so hard to find an escape... But, I needed to find you," he said, voice faltering at that last part. It was then his chin lifted, eyes again focusing on her. "I... We... I can't get out of these," he then said, shaking his wrists locked within the straps however it did him no good. It only hurt more due to the spikes which jutted out and into his skin. He eventually stopped. His attention drooped down defeatedly. "Wryn... I'm sorry..." he said, almost dejectedly as he horribly sat in a crouched forward position, defeated by his own words. It was hopeless, there was no way out of there. Not in his mind. Although his mind wasn't clear to begin with. @tag ### notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

♔He seemed so defeated. It was hard for her to see. Wryn had learned more about Rad in ten minutes than she had in months of knowing him. It was a little overwhelming but she was determined. She didn't give up before, not when she dealt with her master's cruelty daily. Not when he hurt her. Not when they were criminals hiding in the woods and trying to scrap together enough food to survive. "There is a way out." Of course she had no idea what or where it might be. But there had to be a weakness somewhere. And even if there wasn't she wasn't going to tell Rad that. Not when he was an emotional broken wreck. It was such a stark contrast from the normally unfeeling werewolf that it made her uneasy. What if this had broken him?
He was looking for her...that was why he was in so much pain and had gone through so much. All because of her. She sat back and studied him, it was hard to hide the guilt that made her stomach churn but she tried. At the mention of his wrists Wryn looked down at them. Her small fingers working at the latches and trying to free him but she wasn't certain if she could get them to open. "No, I'm sorry Rad....I'm sorry I ask you all those questions. I'm sorry that you came here looking for me and all this happened to you. I'm sorry I never understood so many things before.."
She took her lip between her teeth and turned to look around the room. With everything in her there must be something that could help them escape... "Are you able to walk?"

YOU MAY SAY THAT I'M BREAKING YOUR MIND IN MY OPINION YOU'RE MUCH TOO KIND He stood not too far from the torture chamber, standing along the white wall while he stared at a window facing the snowy scenery outside. A smirk came to his face as he heard the story of the man. Oh how terrible, it made him want to chuckle in delight. It made him feel better, more so than killing his own wife. Oh what a horrible life the wolf seemed to have lived. As Radulfr and Wryn conversed, he began to wonder about the clan of Ulfgangur. Who were they exactly? Was there anything about them he could use against him in front of Wryn? The werewolf's reactions were going perfectly, yet, the girl. Why? Why was she being so kind yet she was disappointed with him killing all those people? Didn't she hate the fact that he was broken, by all of those men? But then it was something that he had said. Why he was so angry. The same thing happened to him. All of it was confusing, but it happened to Wryn? Farkas scratched his beard in thought. Maybe that's why she was so mistrusting of the man. If he knew he would have used different tactics, but it wasn't like she would just say something like that off the bat. But still, he was pleased to hear his horrendous history, as he had heard so many others. Farkas wouldn't have suspected he would say such things without the potion. He seemed strong. Unbreakable. Yet there he was like a sad dog. Farkas was pleased that he could do that to such a man. But her response was... disappointing. He thought that she would hate him, that she would despise him. Yet she pitied him. How rare it was. Most women left their lovers for Farkas. But her... she... she wasn't cooperating. He knew that when he left the room it always made the one under the potion give more information, more comfortable in that environment with the one they loved. But, this wasn't working. Then they began to talk of an escape. Wryn said there was one. Did he miss a spot that she had found? Angrily he stomped toward the torture chamber, and pulled the door open. It swung wide and fast, and the man stormed into the room. No, there would be no escape for these two. He breathed heavily, a musky breath as he then waved his hand over the stone, the light showing then fading again however it was evident now. "No, there's no escape," he said in a raspy voice, eyes intent on Wryn. His mouth was shaped in a sneer, and then he neared closer. His attention then focused on Radulfr as he stood before him, looking down at him with mock sympathy. "Oh, poor Rad," he cooed teasingly, pretending to feel sorry for him but it was apparent that he was not. "Abandoned by his family. Broken. Such a horrible childhood. Oh, how can Wryn love you now?" he spoke with a sad tone, although it was still mockingly as he continued to look down at him. Radulfr was silent, not saying anything for he wasn't asked a question. Farkas continued, he had to find something wrong with his clan, something to make Wryn despise him. To hate him. Grabbing him roughly by his hair he threw back his head along the spikes, causing Radulfr to grunt in pain. "Oh, how you killed so many innocents. Who was the alpha of the clan at that time?" he then asked. Maybe if the name rang a bell he could find some dirt on it. Radulfr was silent but Farkas then shook him. "Phelan..." he spoke. "My brother."Farkas then let him go, throwing his head upon the spikes once more. His attention then turned to Wryn. "See? This man's brother and him killed all those people! You see what kind of a person he is!" he exclaimed, nearing toward her. Still, he could sense that she would not hate him still. He paused for a moment, then began again. "Phelan! He was the one that killed so many years ago, or so as I recall!" Farkas made his way around the chair, and toward Wryn, looking at her with the malicious and watchful eyes of a hawk. They then moved back to Radulfr as he smirked with amusement. "Though he had died," he smiled at Radulfr. "It was one of the other clans. They did their duty and brought justice to the rest. Oh how shameful you must feel," he shook his head in disappointment. Radulfr writhed in his chair as he began to lash out. "I tried! I tried so hard to kill him!" he nearly tried to jump out of the chair to get to him, only the straps continuing to keep him down. He sounded like a ferocious animal that was locked in a cage for far too long. "I tried so hard but no one would help me! I asked all the clans! Nothing! I even tried to kill him myself! Found my father dead and killed my mother! But I could not get to him!" Radulfr yelled. "I should have had that kill!"Farkas turned to Wryn, standing ever closer to her now. His eyes narrowed at her. "Oh Wryn, look at this man. He is so cruel that he even wanted to kill his own brother," he turned his words around. At that Radulfr couldn't say anything. It was true. He could not lie. Farkas neared, his voice close to her ear. "And his own mother too. How does that make you feel? He might even try to kill you," he spoke, before grasping the chain that tied her hand hard, ripping it from off the chair. He then bound both of her hands to it, harshly grabbing her free wrist. He then tugged on the chain, forcing her to follow him as he moved across the room. Confidently he looked back at Radulfr with another smile. "There is no escape," he reminded him as he then exited through the door, the girl right behind him. Radulfr's eyes widened. "Wryn!" he called out, but the door then slammed shut, not hearing anything on the other side any longer. Farkas then locked the door, but kept the girl close to make sure she wouldn't get away from him. He then smiled at her. "Don't worry, he will be dead soon," he said reassuringly. "Come along now," he then said, tugging at her chain more as he moved about within the halls. But as he moved, he then heard a noise. The werewolf looked upward as he thought he heard the familiar noises of an escapee. Oh it must be her. "That stupid fox," he breathed roughly. Angrily he then hastily tied the chain to a doorknob, although did a sloppy job. Then he left Wryn, disappearing into the next hall. He did not know that he did not tie the chain all the way, and after a moment it slid to the ground from its weight, setting her free. [END] @tag ### notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0
