What is the name of currency in Oedir? I real like Europe there were Pounds and Shillings and junk, and that changed over time. In Skyrim they are Septims. What kinds of coins exist in Oedir and what are they worth generally? Are they made out of gold or silver? Or both? Are there any copper or bronze coins (in real life there weren't copper coins or paper money at all but maybe Oedir is different)?

Currently Oedir doesn't have a specific name for currency. 'Coin' is a term often used, gold, silver, and precious stones would be widely accepted. There are no paper bills however there could be IOUs and things of that nature but a large portion of the population is illiterate. We would be open to suggestions if anyone has a term/name they think would fit Oedir

So gold and silver coins, gotcha. What would a standard gold coin and a standard silver coin be worth, would you recon? And feel free to be super general about this.

A sum such as 5 gold would still be relatively modest. Food items one might find while strolling through the marketplace would in general just be a silver or two. A sum around 35 gold or so would be the amount many would pay for a horse in good condition that has already been trained under a saddle. Anyone wanting to make a large purchase would be better off traveling with a chest on coach than a tiny sack of coins tied to their waist. I know that is pretty vague, hopefully it helps though!

Are fight clubs legal in any of the kingdoms? Or illegal in any of them? Any kind of man on man combat so that includes like organized fighting, gladiator matches in arenas, wrestling, anything like that?

I'd imagine any underground fight clubs are typically illegal, especially if they involve no supervision whatsoever, but that doesn't mean that they can have them in secret, or it may take awhile to get the guards. Maybe some are even bribed to guard those matches if that's the case. However, there is an arena in the Fallen City Ruins that can be used for organized fighting, and usually as long as there is someone watching over the matches and dictating the rules it is legal. But using prisoners as gladiators would be also illegal I'd imagine, unless they requested some sort of deal with the higher ups.

Does the "Undead" resurrection happen to animals? Or can only human-ish races become undead? Not as playable characters, obviously, but can our characters encountered like an undead bear or something?

Yeah, all animals can become undead, much like the other species. Although they are probably more rare and I'd imagine people bury their pets in the Graveyard as well. So there can be a few undead animals around in Oedir, but most would probably happen to be in the Graveyard. (Like if they become undead and someone kills them, knowing that they don't really die until they're Mindless, the animal would probably be brought over there). Of course there are many exceptions but all kingdoms generally would try to keep this under control.

Can dragons be of any element? Or does it have to be one of the cardinal elements (earth, fire, wind, water/ice)?

Probably the cardinal elements. There may be a few exceptions or variations though, much like fire: magma, sunlight (sun fire), water: ice, snow, clouds, etc.

Ah I'm glad you said sunlight. x3 Can we get an idea of how large dragons are in dragon form? I suspect there is some variation but rough length/height would be helpful. Since dragons in media can be a wide variety of sizes, it'd be cool to know what's standard in Oedir.

Hey Carjen! I actually touched very briefly on this in the Dragon Lore. We don't have a set size for dragons, however in general they are large. Only a very young dragon (think someone who isn't old enough to have a human form yet) would be smaller than the average sized human. Most dragons of Oedir would be considered very large but there are also some dragons that are the size of a horse while being full grown. (Something that might be a sore point for them.) Size wise in length I would say the larger dragons of Oedir are about as long as a full size school bus. I hope that helps!

What determines what a werebeast shapeshifts into, genetically speaking? For example, if a wolf shifter and an alligator shifter have a baby, what goes on there?

It is actually a pretty random occurrence. The likelihood of two wolves birthing a wolf would be a little higher, the same if the parents were of different were types. A slight favor to that species. But over all it is really just a game of chance, two wolves could easily birth a werechicken. A rabbit and a bear could birth an eagle. Wereparents get surprises xD
