I've never done this sort of plot-hunting thing before so bear with me.
Karan the werecat keeps her race secret during these difficult times, but would prefer to be in a half-transformed state when possible. She is a happy-go-lucky bard and street performer, always ready to make friends and lend a helping hand whenever possible, especially if that helping hand can be set on fire(her favorite magic trick).
Karan does have a past as a pick-pocket and thief, but she strives not to fall in to old habits.
Sometimes at night Karan gets what she calls "the Midnight Crazies" she can't sleep and is so full of energy that she either goes through inventory and works on her own songs, cooks a meal and consumes it(if she's staying at such a place as has a kitchen to use), as well as doing the dishes, or just takes off into the night to run around cavorting through the town or forest or wherever she is until the Crazies have run their course.

I'd love for her to have past acquaintances who are or were also thieves, but that's not necessary. Since she loves to make all sorts of friends I'm open to her meeting or being acquainted with anyone. Not sure how she would react to having an enemy or antagonist to go against. Could be fun.

Salamander Johnson
link
Is a sword for hire and odd-jobber who was tricked into becoming a thief to repay a life dept in his young teen years. After fulfilling his dept he left thievery as far behind as possible, but old acquaintances still resurface to bother him.
Born of a Knight under a noble barony, Salamander has a strong sense of justice and chivalry, and despite his somewhat misanthropic attitude towards people, he will always lend a helping hand or stand up for another, especially if it is a lady. He's somewhat easily taken in by a tale of woe, although at this point in life he pretty much expects everyone to screw him over at some point. Can't stand people, but feels compelled to help, such a trial.
Salamander is a competent swordsman, but just that, as his formal training came to a halt only a few years in, and the rest he had to learn while being with a motley crew of thieves, none of which had formal training either. He does well enough as an extra guard for groups and caravans of travelers against highway men and such, but he rarely comes through without some sort of injury, either minor or major.
I hope that info is enough, if not check out his profile.
I'm looking for antagonists mostly, because Salamander is my most beloved character, as such he must suffer the most. He also has a prickly, awkward personality so making friends is extremely difficult.
